Shabbat Shalom Loved One!

Do you remember we are at war, Loved One? Many of us are being abruptly awakened to that reality. We have an enemy who has organized forces waging war against us. Sometimes he uses those whom we hold dear (Friends and relatives) to inflict pain upon us. Other times its powers and principalities that are assigned to stop our testimony, our income, our relationships, even our lives. This is to be expected since using someone you don’t know or care for cannot inflict much pain. These are why walking out the Torah (Instructions/Law) of YHWH are of utmost importance. Every time we have transgressed His Torah we receive wounds in our souls, and even after forgiveness those wounds can allow demonic attack against us- unless and until we are healed by Yahshua’s light. Sometimes we take offense quickly where there would appear to be no logical reason- this is due to wounds in the soul from hurts and pains previously received when we sinned or others sinned against us. Remember Yahshua’s comments “(John 8:12) Therefore יהושע spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall by no means walk in darkness, but possess the light of life.”1 Footnote: 1 See 11:9-10.

Katie Souza has an excellent teaching from Yahshua that can help bring deliverance about the strongmen (Satanic and wicked Kings) and their power structures of bringing famine, poverty, sickness and death through these various Kings or Strongmen in the Bible. Her website is: www.expectedendministries.com

Ordering the CD set Banking in the Glory from her ministry is worth listening to and gaining victory over these soul wounds we all have that allows hasatan to bring so much hurt to the body of Messiah.

We all know Yahshua’s words: (John 10:9) “I am the door. Whoever enters through me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and shall go out and find pasture. (John 10:10) The thief does not come except to steal, and to slaughter, and to destroy. I have come that they might possess life, and that they might possess it beyond measure (abundantly). (John 10:11) “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. (John 10:12) “But the hireling, and not being a shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees. And the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them.

(Eph 6:11) Put on the complete armor of Elohim, so you have power to stand against the schemes of the devil. (Eph 6:12) We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual matters of wickedness in the heavenlies. (Eph 6:13) Because of this, take up the complete armor of Elohim, so that you have power to withstand in the wicked day, and having done all, to stand. (Eph 6:14) Stand, then, having girded your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, (Eph 6:15) and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; (Eph 6:16) above all, having taken up the shield of belief (faith) with which you shall have power to quench all the burning arrows of the wicked one. (Eph 6:17) Take also the helmet of deliverance (From all attacks of hell- salvation), and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Elohim,1 Footnote: 1Isa. 59:21. (Eph 6:18) praying at all times, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the set-apart ones; (Eph 6:19) also for me, that a word might be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to be bold in making known the secret of the Good News, (Eph 6:20) for which I am an envoy in chains, that in it I might speak boldly, as I should speak.

Since we have a supernatural enemy that is making war against us, it would make sense to learn his tactics and the means of deliverance Yahshua has provided- especially as we see “THE DAY” approaching. One of YHWH’s principles that brings deliverance is learning to worship in Spirit and Truth. (Torah and Ruach) However; that requires we submit to His word and ways and be delivered from traditions and man-made religion that have added to and taken away from His word (Torah)! How does that work? (Psa 22:3) Yet you are set-apart, enthroned on the praises of Yisra’ĕl.

Let’s remind ourselves how YHWH instructs us to enter His gates and His Courts. (Intimacy)

(Php 4:4) Rejoice in יהוה always, again I say, rejoice! (Php 4:5) Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Master Yahshua is near. (Php 4:6) Do not worry about anything, but in every matter, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to Elohim. (Php 4:7) And the peace of Elohim, which surpasses all understanding, shall guard your hearts and minds through Messiah יהושע. (Php 4:8) For the rest, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is righteous, whatever is clean, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report, if there is any uprightness and if there is any praise – think on these. (We must agree with YHWH and not the 10 spies who reported the facts- giants in the land!)

Let’s Practice!

(Psa 100:1) Raise a shout for יהוה, all the earth! (Psa 100:2) Serve יהוה with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. (Psa 100:3) Know that יהוה, He is Elohim; He has made us, and we are His – His people and the sheep of His pasture. (Psa 100:4) Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His Name. (Psa 100:5) For יהוה is good; His kindness is everlasting, And His truth, to all generations.

(Psa 147:1) Praise Yah! For it is good to sing praises to our Elohim, for it is pleasant – praise is fitting. (Psa 147:2) יהוה builds up Yerushalayim, He gathers the outcasts of Yisra’ĕl – (Psa 147:3) He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.

Here is a prophetic voice I trust hears from Heaven: http://www.xpmedia.com/gDkLoZOIThb4

(Bobby Conner’s short video on secrets that are revealed by YHWH- and the wicked beings of Genesis 6 being unleashed on planet earth today. (Deu 29:29) “The secret matters belong to יהוה our Elohim, but what is revealed belongs to us and to our children forever, to do all the Words of this Torah.

Here are the Torah Scriptures for this week: Ki TetseWhen you go out”

Deuteronomy 21:10-25:19; Isaiah 54:1-10; Luke 20: 27-38;

2 Kings Chapters 10, 11, and 12

(Deu 21:10) “When you go out to fight against your enemies and יהוה your Elohim shall give them into your hand and you shall take them captive, (Deu 21:11) and shall see among the captives a woman fair of form, and shall delight in her and take her for your wife, (Deu 21:12) then you shall bring her home to your house, and she shall shave her head and trim her nails, (Deu 21:13) and put aside the mantle of her captivity, and shall dwell in your house, and mourn her father and her mother a month of days. And after that you shall go in to her and be her husband, and she shall be your wife. (Deu 21:14) “And it shall be, if you are not pleased with her, then you shall let her go at her desire, but you do not sell her at all for silver. Do not treat her harshly, since you have humbled her. (Deu 21:15) “When a man has two wives, one loved and the other unloved, and they have borne him children, both the loved and the unloved, and the first-born son is of her who is unloved, (Deu 21:16) then it shall be, on the day he makes his sons to inherit his possessions, he is not allowed to treat the son of the beloved wife as first-born in the face of the son of the unloved, who is truly the first-born. (Deu 21:17) “But he is to acknowledge the son of the unloved wife as the first-born by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the beginning of his strength – the right of the first-born is his. (Deu 21:18) “When a man has a wayward and rebellious son who is not listening to the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and who, when they have disciplined him, does not listen to them, (Deu 21:19) then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city, to the gate of his city, (Deu 21:20) and shall say to the elders of his city, ‘This son of ours is wayward and rebellious. He is not listening to our voice he is a glutton and a drunkard.’ (Deu 21:21) “Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst. And let all Yisra’ĕl hear, and fear.

This is why Yahshua was removed from the cross before evening- since the new day starts at evening- not at 12 midnight like Pope Gregory taught.

(Deu 21:22) “And when a man has committed a sin worthy of death, then he shall be put to death and you shall hang him on a tree. (Deu 21:23) Let his body not remain overnight on the tree, for you shall certainly bury him the same day – for he who is hanged is cursed of Elohim – so that you do not defile the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you as an inheritance. (Deu 22:1) “When you see your brother’s ox or his sheep going straying away, you shall not hide yourself from them. Return them to your brother without fail. (Deu 22:2) “And if your brother is not near you, or if you do not know him, then you shall bring it to your own house, and it shall be with you until your brother seeks it, then you shall return it to him. (Deu 22:3) “And so you do with his donkey, and so you do with his garment, and so you do with whatever your brother loses, which he has lost and you have found. You are not allowed to hide yourself. (Deu 22:4) “When you see your brother’s donkey or his ox fall down on the way, you shall not hide yourself from them. Help him raise them without fail.

No Cross-Dressing!

(Deu 22:5) A woman does not wear that which pertains to a man, nor does a man put on a woman’s garment, for whoever; does this is an abomination to יהוה your Elohim. (Deu 22:6) “When you come upon a bird’s nest along the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, with the mother sitting on the young or on the eggs, do not take the mother with the young – (Deu 22:7) let the mother go without fail, and take the young for yourself, so that it might be well with you, and that you shall prolong your days. (Deu 22:8) “When you build a new house, then you shall make a parapet for your roof, so that you do not bring blood-guilt on your house when one falls from it.

Here’s where we learn not to genetically alter seeds and we should wear tzitzit (tassels) reminding us that we obey YHWH! Yes I realize the Holy Spirit is our guide and helper but sometimes we don’t walk in the spirit but in the flesh- great reminder!

(Deu 22:9) Do not sow your vineyard with different kinds of seed, lest the yield of the seed which you have sown and the fruit of your vineyard be defiled. (Deu 22:10) “Do not plough with an ox and a donkey together. (Deu 22:11) “Do not put on a garment of different kinds, of wool and linen together. (Deu 22:12) Make tassels on the four corners of the garment with which you cover yourself. (Deu 22:13) “When any man takes a wife, and shall go in to her, and shall hate her, (Deu 22:14) and shall make abusive charges against her and bring an evil name on her and say, ‘I took this woman, and when I came to her I did not find her a maiden,’ (Deu 22:15) then the father and mother of the young woman shall take and bring out the proof of the girl’s maidenhood to the elders of the city at the gate. (Deu 22:16) “And the girl’s father shall say to the elders, ‘I gave my daughter to this man as wife, and he hates her. (Deu 22:17) ‘And see, he has made abusive charges against her, saying, “I did not find your daughter a maiden,” and yet these are the proofs of my daughter’s maidenhood.’ And they shall spread the garment before the elders of the city. (Deu 22:18) “And the elders of that city shall take that man and punish him, (Deu 22:19) and fine him one hundred pieces of silver and give them to the father of the young woman, because he has brought an evil name on a maiden of Yisra’ĕl. And she is to be his wife he is not allowed to put her away all his days. (Deu 22:20) “But if the matter is true, that the girl was not found a maiden, (Deu 22:21) then they shall bring out the girl to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has done wickedness in Yisra’ĕl, to whore in her father’s house. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst.

This is NOT what the Pharisees did when they brought only the adulterous woman to Yahshua for judgment! (Where was the man that got caught in the act also??)

(Deu 22:22) When a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then both of them shall die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman. Thus you shall purge the evil from Yisra’ĕl. (Deu 22:23) “When a girl who is a maiden is engaged to a husband and a man finds her in the city and lies with her, (Deu 22:24) then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and shall stone them to death with stones, the girl because she did not cry out in the city, and the man because he has humbled his neighbor’s wife. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst. (Deu 22:25) “But if a man finds the girl who is engaged in the field, and the man seizes her and lies with her, then only the man who lay with her shall die. (Deu 22:26) “But you shall do no matter to the girl. The girl has no sin worthy of death – for the matter is like a man who rises against his neighbor and kills him – (Deu 22:27) for he found her in the field, and she cried out, the engaged girl, but without anyone to save her. (Deu 22:28) “When a man finds a girl who is a maiden, who is not engaged, and he seizes her and lies with her, and they are found out, (Deu 22:29) then the man who lay with her shall give to the girl’s father fifty pieces of silver, and she is to be his wife because he has humbled her. He is not allowed to put her away all his days. (Deu 22:30) “A man does not take his father’s wife, nor uncover his father’s skirt. (Deu 23:1) “No one wounded, crushed or whose member is cut off does enter the assembly of יהוה. (Deu 23:2) “No one of illegitimate birth does enter the assembly of יהוה even a tenth generation of his does not enter the assembly of יהוה. (Deu 23:3) “An Ammonite or Mo’aḇite does not enter the assembly of יהוה, even a tenth generation of them does not ever enter the assembly of יהוה, (Deu 23:4) because they did not meet you with bread and water on the way when you came out of Mitsrayim, and because they hired against you Bilʽam son of Beʽor from Pethor of Aram Naharayim, to curse you. (Deu 23:5) “But יהוה your Elohim refused to listen to Bilʽam and יהוה your Elohim turned the curse into a blessing for you, because יהוה your Elohim loves you. (Deu 23:6) “Do not seek their peace or their good, all your days, forever. (Deu 23:7) “Do not loathe an Eḏomite, for he is your brother. Do not loathe a Mitsrite, because you were a stranger in his land. (Deu 23:8) “The children of the third generation born to them do enter the assembly of יהוה.

Health matters! (Cover your poop!)

(Deu 23:9) “When the army goes out against your enemies, then you shall guard yourself from every evil matter. (Deu 23:10) When there is any man among you who is not clean because of an emission in the night, then he shall go outside the camp. Let him not come into the midst of the camp. (Deu 23:11) “And it shall be when evening comes, that he bathes with water. And when the sun sets let him come into the midst of the camp. (Deu 23:12) “And you shall have a place outside the camp, where you shall go out, (Deu 23:13) and you shall have a sharp implement among your equipment, and when you sit down outside, you shall dig with it and turn and cover your excrement. (Deu 23:14) “For יהוה your Elohim walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you. Therefore your camp shall be set-apart, so that He does not see unclean matter among you, and shall turn away from you. (Deu 23:15) “You do not hand over to his master the slave who has escaped from his master to you. (Deu 23:16) “Let him dwell with you in your midst, in the place which he chooses within one of your gates, where it is pleasing to him. Do not oppress him.

I expect this had to do with Easter Fertility Goddess worship where the Easter priests impregnated the virgins on the Easter sunrise service- then slaughtered the 3 month old babies 12 months later at the same sunrise service.

(Deu 23:17) “None of the daughters of Yisra’ĕl is to be a cult prostitute, nor any of the sons of Yisra’ĕl be a cult prostitute. (Deu 23:18) “Do not bring the gift of a whore or the pay of a dog to the House of יהוה your Elohim for any vowed offering, for both of these are an abomination to יהוה your Elohim. (Deu 23:19) “Do not lend at interest to your brother, interest of silver, interest of food, or interest of whatever is lent at interest. (Deu 23:20) “To a foreigner you lend at interest, but to your brother you do not lend at interest, so that יהוה your Elohim might bless you in all that you put your hand to in the land which you are entering to possess. (Deu 23:21) “When you make a vow to יהוה your Elohim, do not delay to pay it, for יהוה your Elohim is certainly requiring it of you, and it shall be sin in you. (Deu 23:22) “But when you abstain from vowing it is not sin in you. (Deu 23:23) “That which has gone from your lips you shall guard and do, for you voluntarily vowed to יהוה your Elohim what you have promised with your mouth.

So much nonsense from the Pharisees saying Yahshua was breaking Torah (Law) when they ate the grain- that was Takanot (Added laws of adding and taking away from the Torah- which is prohibited by Scripture) (Deu 12:32) “All the words I am commanding you, guard to do it – do not add to it nor take away from it.1 Footnote: 1See also 4:2, Prov. 30:6, Rev. 22:18-19.

(Deu 23:24) “When you come into your neighbor’s vineyard, you shall eat to the satisfaction of your desire, but do not put any in a receptacle of yours (Don’t harvest his grain). (Deu 23:25) “When you come into your neighbor’s standing grain, you shall pluck the heads with your hand, but do not use a sickle on your neighbor’s standing grain. (Deu 24:1) “When a man takes a wife and shall marry her, then it shall be, if she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found a matter of uncoveredness in her, and he shall write her a certificate of divorce, and put it in her hand, and send her out of his house, (Deu 24:2) and if she left his house and went and became another man’s wife, (Deu 24:3) and the latter husband shall hate her and write her a certificate of divorce, and put it in her hand, and send her out of his house, or when the latter husband dies who took her to be his wife, (Deu 24:4) then her former husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her back to be his wife after she has been defiled, for that would be an abomination before יהוה. And do not bring in on the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you as an inheritance. (Deu 24:5) “When a man has taken a new wife, let him not go out into the army nor let any matter be imposed upon him. He shall be exempt one year for the sake of his home, to rejoice with his wife whom he has taken. (Deu 24:6) “No one takes in pledge the lower or the upper millstone, for he would be taking a life in pledge. (Deu 24:7) “When a man is found kidnapping any of his brothers of the children of Yisra’ĕl, and treats him harshly or sells him, then that kidnapper shall die. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst. (Deu 24:8) “Take heed in an outbreak of leprosy to diligently guard and do according to all that the priests, the Lĕwites, teach you. As I have commanded them, so you shall guard to do.

Leave the corners of your field for the widows, orphans, and the stranger

(Deu 24:9) “Remember what יהוה your Elohim did to Miryam on the way when you came out of Mitsrayim. (Deu 24:10) “When you lend your brother a loan, do not go into his house to get his pledge. (Deu 24:11) “Stand outside and let the man to whom you lend and bring the pledge out to you. (Deu 24:12) And if the man is poor, do not sleep with his pledge. (Deu 24:13) “By all means return the pledge to him at sundown, and he shall sleep in his own garment, and shall bless you. And it shall be righteousness to you before יהוה your Elohim. (Deu 24:14) Do not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, of your brothers or of the strangers who is in your land within your gates. (Deu 24:15) “Give him his wages on the same day, and do not let the sun go down on it, for he is poor and lifts up his being to it, so that he does not cry out against you to יהוה, and it shall be sin in you. (Deu 24:16) “Fathers are not put to death for their children, and children are not put to death for their fathers, each is to die for his own sin. (Deu 24:17) “Do not twist the right-ruling of a stranger or the fatherless, nor take the garment of a widow. (Deu 24:18) “But you shall remember that you were a slave in Mitsrayim, and that יהוה your Elohim redeemed you from there. Therefore I am commanding you to do this word. (Deu 24:19) When you reap your harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, do not go back to get it. Let it be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow, so that יהוה your Elohim might bless you in all the work of your hands. (Deu 24:20) “When you beat your olive trees, do not examine the branch behind you. Let it be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow. (Deu 24:21) “When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, do not glean behind you. Let it be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow. (Deu 24:22) “And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Mitsrayim. Therefore I am commanding you to do this word.

A worker is worthy of His wages- Do NOT muzzle the ox!

(Deu 25:1) “When there is a dispute between men, then they shall come unto judgment, and they shall be judged, and the righteous declared righteous and the wrongdoer declared wrong. (Deu 25:2) “And it shall be, if the wrongdoer is to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down and be beaten in his presence with the number of blows according to his wrong. (Deu 25:3) “Forty blows he gives him but no more, lest he beat him with many more blows than these, and your brother be degraded before your eyes. (Deu 25:4) Do not muzzle an ox while it is threshing. (Deu 25:5) “When brothers dwell together, and one of them has died, and has no son, the widow of the dead man shall not become a stranger’s outside. Her husband’s brother does go in to her, and shall take her as his wife, and perform the duty of a husband’s brother to her. (Deu 25:6) “And it shall be that the first-born son which she bears does rise up for the name of his dead brother, so that his name is not blotted out of Yisra’ĕl. (Deu 25:7) “But if the man does not desire to take his brother’s wife, then let his brother’s wife go up to the gate to the elders, and say, ‘My husband’s brother refuses to raise up a name to his brother in Yisra’ĕl, he does not agree to perform the duty of my husband’s brother.’ (Deu 25:8) “The elders of his city shall then call him and speak to him, and he shall stand and say, ‘I have no desire to take her,’ (Deu 25:9) then his brother’s wife shall come to him in the presence of the elders, and remove his sandal from his foot, and shall spit in his face, and answer and say, ‘Thus it is done to the man who does not build up his brother’s house.’ (Deu 25:10) “And in Yisra’ĕl his name shall be called, ‘The house of him who had his sandal removed.’ (Deu 25:11) “When men fight with one another, and the wife of one shall draw near to rescue her husband from the hand of the one attacking him, and shall put out her hand and seize him by the genitals, (Deu 25:12) then you shall cut off her hand – your eye does not pardon.

Differing weights and measures is why the US economy (And yes the world’s) and currency will come falling down – most likely this fall!

(Deu 25:13) You shall not have in your bag differing weights, a heavy and a light. (Deu 25:14) “You shall not have in your house differing measures, a large and a small. (Deu 25:15) “You shall have a perfect and right weight, a perfect and right measure, so that they prolong your days on the soil which יהוה your Elohim is giving you. (Deu 25:16) For all who do these and all who do unrighteously are abominations to יהוה your Elohim. (Deu 25:17) “Remember what Amalĕq did to you on the way as you were coming out of Mitsrayim, (Deu 25:18) how he met you on the way and attacked your back, all the feeble ones in your rear, when you were tired and weary. And he did not fear Elohim. (Deu 25:19) “Therefore it shall be when יהוה your Elohim has given you rest from your enemies all around, in the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you to possess as an inheritance that you blot out the remembrance of Amalĕq from under the heavens. Do not forget!

Rejoice- our Maker IS our Redeemer!

(Isa 54:1) “Sing, O barren one, you who did not bear! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who have not been in labor! For the children of the deserted one are more than the children of the married woman,” said יהוה. (Isa 54:2) “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not. Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. (Isa 54:3) “For you shall break forth to the right and to the left, and your seed inherit the nations, and make the deserted cities inhabited. (Isa 54:4) Do not fear, for you shall not be put to shame, nor hurt, you shall not be humiliated. For the shame of your youth you shall forget, and not remember the reproach of your widowhood any more. (Isa 54:5) “For your Maker is your husband, יהוה of hosts is His Name, and the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl is your Redeemer. He is called the Elohim of all the earth. (Isa 54:6) “For יהוה has called you like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a wife of youth when you were refused,” declares your Elohim. (Isa 54:7) “For a little while I have forsaken you, but with great compassion I shall gather you. (Isa 54:8) “In an overflow of wrath I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I shall have compassion on you,” said יהוה, your Redeemer. (Isa 54:9) “For this is the waters of Noaḥ to me, in that I have sworn that the waters of Noaḥ would never again cover the earth, so have I sworn not to be wroth with you, nor to rebuke you. (Isa 54:10) “For though the mountains be removed and the hills be shaken, my kindness is not removed from you, nor is my covenant of peace shaken,” said יהוה, who has compassion on you.

Yahshua teaching Torah!

(Luke 20:27) And some of the Sadducees, who deny that there is a resurrection, came to Him and asked Him, (Luke 20:28) saying, “Teacher, Mosheh wrote to us that if a man’s brother dies, having a wife, and he dies childless, his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother. (Luke 20:29) “Now, there were seven brothers, and the first took a wife, and died childless. (Luke 20:30) “And the second took her as wife, and he died childless. (Luke 20:31) “And the third took her, and in the same way the seven also. And they left no children, and died. (Luke 20:32) “And last of all, the woman died too. (Luke 20:33) “At the resurrection, then, whose wife does she become? For the seven had her as wife.” (Luke 20:34) And יהושע answering, said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage, (Luke 20:35) but those who are counted worthy of attaining that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are they given in marriage, (Luke 20:36) for neither is it possible for them to die anymore, because they are like messengers and are sons of Elohim, being sons of the resurrection. (Luke 20:37) “But that the dead are raised, even Mosheh showed at the bush when he called יהוה ‘the Elohim of Aḇraham, and the Elohim of Yitsḥaq, and the Elohim of Yaʽaqoḇ.’ (Luke 20:38) “Now He is not the Elohim of the dead, but of the living, for all live to Him.”

(2Ki 10:1) And Aḥaḇ had seventy sons in Shomeron. And Yĕhu wrote letters and sent to Shomeron, to the rulers of Yizreʽĕl, to the elders, and to the guardians of Aḥaḇ, saying, (2Ki 10:2) And now, when this letter comes to you, since your master’s sons are with you, and you have chariots and horses, and a walled city, and weapons, (2Ki 10:3) choose the best and most upright of your master’s sons, and set him on his father’s throne, and fight for your master’s house. (2Ki 10:4) And they were greatly afraid, and said, “Look, two sovereigns have not stood before him, how do we stand, we?” (2Ki 10:5) And he who was over the house, and he who was over the city, the elders also, and the guardians, sent to Yĕhu, saying, “We are your servants, and all that you say to us we do. We do not set up anyone to reign. Do what is good in your eyes.” (2Ki 10:6) And he wrote a second letter to them, saying, If you are for me, and if you obey my voice, take the heads of the men, your master’s sons, and come to me at Yizreʽĕl by this time tomorrow. Now the sovereign’s sons, seventy beings, were with the great men of the city, who brought them up. (2Ki 10:7) And it came to be, when the letter came to them, that they took the sovereign’s sons and slaughtered them, seventy men, and put their heads in baskets and sent them to him at Yizreʽĕl. (2Ki 10:8) Then a messenger came and informed him, saying, “They have brought the heads of the sovereign’s sons.” And he said, “Make them two heaps at the entrance of the gate until morning.” (2Ki 10:9) And it came to be, in the morning, that he went out and stood, and said to all the people, “You are righteous. Look, I conspired against my master and slew him, but who smote all these?

The Prophet oh YHWH’s words come true!

(2Ki 10:10) “Know now that not one word of יהוה which יהוה spoke concerning the house of Aḥaḇ does fall to the ground, for יהוה has done what He spoke by His servant Ěliyahu.” (2Ki 10:11) And Yĕhu smote all those left of the house of Aḥaḇ in Yizreʽĕl, and all his great men and his friends and his priests, until he left him without a survivor. (2Ki 10:12) And he rose up to go, and went to Shomeron. On the way, at Bĕyth Ěqeḏ of the Shepherds, (2Ki 10:13) Yĕhu met the brothers of Aḥazyahu sovereign of Yehuḏah, and said, “Who are you?” And they answered, “We are brothers of Aḥazyahu, and we have come down to greet the sons of the sovereign and the sons of the sovereigness mother.” (2Ki 10:14) And he said, “Take them alive!” So they took them alive, and slew them at the well of Bĕyth Ěqeḏ, forty-two men, and he left none of them. (2Ki 10:15) And he left there and met Yehonaḏaḇ son of Rĕḵaḇ, coming to meet him, and blessed him and said to him, “Is your heart right, as my heart is toward your heart?” And Yehonaḏaḇ answered, “It is.” Yĕhu said, “If it is, give me your hand.” And he gave him his hand, and he took him up to him into the chariot. (2Ki 10:16) And he said, “Come with me, and see my ardor for יהוה.” And they made him ride in his chariot. (2Ki 10:17) And he came to Shomeron, and smote all those left of Aḥaḇ in Shomeron, till he had destroyed them, according to the word of יהוה which He spoke to Ěliyahu. (2Ki 10:18) And Yĕhu gathered all the people and said to them, “Aḥaḇ served Baʽal a little; Yĕhu serves him much. (2Ki 10:19) “And now, call to me all the prophets of Baʽal, all his servants, and all his priests. Let no one be missing, for I have a great slaughtering to make to Baʽal. Anyone who is lacking shall not live!” But Yĕhu did this deceptively, in order to destroy the servants of Baʽal. (2Ki 10:20) And Yĕhu said, “Set apart an assembly for Baʽal.” So they proclaimed it. (2Ki 10:21) And Yĕhu sent throughout all Yisra’ĕl, and all the servants of Baʽal came, so that there was not a man left who did not come. And they came into the house of Baʽal, and the house of Baʽal was filled from end to end. (2Ki 10:22) And he said to him who was over the wardrobe, “Bring out garments for all the servants of Baʽal.” And he brought out garments for them. (2Ki 10:23) And Yĕhu and Yehonaḏaḇ son of Rĕḵaḇ went into the house of Baʽal and said to the servants of Baʽal, “Search and see that no servants of יהוה are here with you, but only the servants of Baʽal.” (2Ki 10:24) So they went in to make offerings and burnt offerings. Now Yĕhu had appointed for himself eighty men on the outside, and had said, “The man who lets escape any of the men whom I have brought into your hands – his life for his life!” (2Ki 10:25) And it came to be, when he had finished making the burnt offering, Yĕhu said to the guard and to the officers, “Go in, smite them, let no one come out!” And they smote them with the edge of the sword, and the guards and the officers threw them out, and went into the inner room of the house of Baʽal, (2Ki 10:26) and brought out the pillars of the house of Baʽal and burned them, (2Ki 10:27) and broke down the statue of Baʽal, and broke down the house of Baʽal and made it a latrine to this day. (2Ki 10:28) Thus Yĕhu destroyed Baʽal out of Yisra’ĕl. (2Ki 10:29) However, Yĕhu did not turn away from the sins of Yaroḇʽam son of Neḇat, who had made Yisra’ĕl sin, from the golden calves that were at Bĕyth Ěl and Dan. (2Ki 10:30) And יהוה said to Yĕhu, “Because you have done well by doing what is right in my eyes, and have done to the house of Aḥaḇ all that was in my heart, your sons are going to sit on the throne of Yisra’ĕl to the fourth generation.” (2Ki 10:31) But Yĕhu did not guard to walk in the Torah of יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl with all his heart. He did not turn away from the sins of Yaroḇʽam, who had made Yisra’ĕl sin. (2Ki 10:32) In those days יהוה began to cut off some in Yisra’ĕl. And Ḥaza’ĕl smote them throughout all the border of Yisra’ĕl, (2Ki 10:33) from the Yardĕn to the sun-rising: all the land of Gilʽaḏ – the Gaḏites, and the Re’uḇĕnites, and the Menashshehites – from Aroʽĕr, which is by the wadi Arnon, including Gilʽaḏ and Bashan. (2Ki 10:34) And the rest of the acts of Yĕhu, and all that he did, and all his might, are they not written in the book of the annals of the sovereigns of Yisra’ĕl? (2Ki 10:35) So Yĕhu slept with his fathers, and they buried him in Shomeron. And Yeho’aḥaz his son reigned in his place. (2Ki 10:36) And the days that Yĕhu reigned over Yisra’ĕl in Shomeron were twenty-eight years.

Protecting YHWH’s Promise

(2Ki 11:1) And Athalyah was the mother of Aḥazyahu. And when she saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the offspring of the reign.(2Ki 11:2) But Yehosheḇa, the daughter of Sovereign Yoram, sister of Aḥazyahu, took Yo’ash son of Aḥazyah, and stole him away from among the sons of the sovereign’s sons who were put to death. So they hid him and his nurse in the bedroom, from Athalyahu, and he was not put to death. (2Ki 11:3) And he remained with her in hiding in the House of יהוה for six years, while Athalyah was reigning over the land. (2Ki 11:4) And in the seventh year Yehoyaḏa sent and brought the commanders of hundreds, with the Karites and the runners, and brought them into the House of יהוה to him. And he made a covenant with them and took an oath from them in the House of יהוה, and showed them the son of the sovereign. (2Ki 11:5) And he commanded them, saying, “This is what you are to do: One-third of you who come in on the Sabbath to be on guard in the sovereign’s house, (2Ki 11:6) and one-third at the gate of Sur, and one-third at the gate behind the runners. And you shall be on guard in the house, lest it be broken down. (2Ki 11:7) “And the two detachments of you who are going out on the Sabbath shall be on guard in the House of יהוה for the sovereign. (2Ki 11:8) “And you shall surround the sovereign on all sides, every man with his weapons in his hand. And whoever comes within the ranks let him be put to death. And be with the sovereign as he goes out and as he comes in.” (2Ki 11:9) So the commanders of the hundreds did according to all that Yehoyaḏa the priest commanded. And each of them took his men who were going in on the Sabbath, with those who were going out on the Sabbath, and came to Yehoyaḏa the priest. (2Ki 11:10) And the priest gave the commanders of hundreds the spears and shields which had belonged to Sovereign Dawiḏ, that were in the House of יהוה. (2Ki 11:11) And the runners stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, all around the sovereign, from the right side of the House to the left side of the House, by the altar and the House. (2Ki 11:12) And he brought out the son of the sovereign and put on him the diadem and the Witness. And they set him up to reign and anointed him, and they clapped their hands and said, “Let the sovereign live!” (2Ki 11:13) And Athalyah heard the noise of the runners, the people, and she came to the people, into the House of יהוה, (2Ki 11:14) and looked and saw the sovereign standing by a column, according to the ruling, and the chiefs and the trumpeters were beside the sovereign, and all the people of the land rejoicing and blowing trumpets. And Athalyah tore her garments and cried out, “Treason! Treason!” (2Ki 11:15) And Yehoyaḏa the priest commanded the commanders of the hundreds, the officers of the army, and said to them, “Take her outside the ranks, and slay with the sword whoever follows her.” For the priest had said, “Do not let her be killed in the House of יהוה.” (2Ki 11:16) So they took hold of her, and she went by way of the horses’ entrance to the sovereign’s house, and was put to death there. (2Ki 11:17) And Yehoyaḏa made a covenant between יהוה and the sovereign and the people, to be the people of יהוה – also between the sovereign and the people. (2Ki 11:18) And all the people of the land went to the house of Baʽal, and broke it down. They completely broke up its altars and images, and slew Mattan the priest of Baʽal before the altars. And the priest appointed inspectors over the House of יהוה, (2Ki 11:19) and took the commanders of hundreds, and the Karites, and the runners, and all the people of the land. And they brought the sovereign down from the House of יהוה, and went by way of the gate of the runners to the sovereign’s house. And he sat on the throne of the sovereigns. (2Ki 11:20) And all the people of the land rejoiced. And the city had rest, for they had slain Athalyahu with the sword in the sovereign’s house. (2Ki 11:21) Yeho’ash was seven years old when he began to reign.

Now we see why YHWH protected him! Repairing the House of YHWH-

(2Ki 12:1) Yeho’ash began to reign in the seventh year of Yĕhu, and he reigned forty years in Yerushalayim. And his mother’s name was Tsiḇyah of Be’ĕrsheḇa. (2Ki 12:2) And Yeho’ash did what was right in the eyes of יהוה all the days in which Yehoyaḏa the priest instructed him. (2Ki 12:3) However, the high places were not taken away; the people still slaughter and burned incense on the high places. (2Ki 12:4) And Yeho’ash said to the priests, “All the silver of the set-apart gifts that are brought into the House of יהוה, the silver coming over, each man’s assessment silver, all the silver that a man purposes in his heart to bring into the House of יהוה, (2Ki 12:5) let the priests take for themselves, each from his friend. And let them repair the damages of the House, wherever there is damage.” (2Ki 12:6) And it came to be, by the twenty-third year of Sovereign Yeho’ash, that the priests had not repaired the damages of the House, (2Ki 12:7) and Sovereign Yeho’ash called Yehoyaḏa the priest and the other priests, and said to them, “Why have you not repaired the damages of the House? And now, do not take any more silver from your friends, but give it for repairing the damages of the House.” (2Ki 12:8) And the priests agreed that they would neither receive any more silver from the people, nor repair the damages of the House. (2Ki 12:9) And Yehoyaḏa the priest took a chest, and bored a hole in its lid, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one comes into the House of יהוה. And the priests who guarded the poor put there all the silver that was brought into the House of יהוה. (2Ki 12:10) And it came to be, whenever they saw that there was much silver in the chest, that the sovereign’s scribe and the high priest came up and put it in bags, and counted the silver that was found in the House of יהוה, (2Ki 12:11) and gave the silver, weighed out, into the hands of those who did the work, who had the oversight of the House of יהוה. And they paid it out to the carpenters and builders who worked on the House of יהוה, (2Ki 12:12) and to stonemasons and stonecutters, and for buying timber and hewn stone to repair the damage of the House of יהוה, and for all that was paid out to repair the House. (2Ki 12:13) However there were not made for the House of יהוה basins of silver, snuffers, sprinkling-bowls, trumpets, any objects of gold, or objects of silver, from the silver that was brought into the House of יהוה, (2Ki 12:14) for they gave that to the workmen, and they repaired the House of יהוה with it. (2Ki 12:15) And they did not reckon with the men into whose hand they gave the silver to be paid to workmen, for they acted trustworthily. (2Ki 12:16) The silver from the trespass offerings and the silver from the sin offerings was not brought into the House of יהוה. It belonged to the priests.

OOPS! Don’t give the treasures of YHWH to wicked Kings!

(2Ki 12:17) And Ḥaza’ĕl sovereign of Aram went up and fought against Gath, and captured it. And Ḥaza’ĕl set his face to go up to Yerushalayim. (2Ki 12:18) And Yeho’ash sovereign of Yehuḏah took all the set-apart gifts that his fathers, Yehoshaphat and Yehoram and Aḥazyahu, sovereigns of Yehuḏah, had set apart, and his own set-apart gifts, and all the gold found in the treasuries of the House of יהוה and in the sovereign’s house, and sent them to Ḥaza’ĕl sovereign of Aram. Then he went away from Yerushalayim. (2Ki 12:19) And the rest of the acts of Yo’ash, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the sovereigns of Yehuḏah? (2Ki 12:20) And his servants rose up and made a conspiracy, and smote Yo’ash in the house of Millo, which goes down to Silla. (2Ki 12:21) For Yozaḵar son of Shimʽath and Yehozaḇaḏ son of Shomĕr, his servants, smote him. So he died, and they buried him with his fathers in the City of Dawiḏ. And Amatsyah his son reigned in his place.
