Rin-Tin Tin or 10/10/10?

Friday, October 1, 2010 TM

Shabbat Shalom Loved One! (Truth Searcher- Rin-Tin-Tin or 10/10/10? It is a word play only understandable by us older ones in the Body of Messiah!)

Many of us are enjoying the final day/s of Sukkot! Wonderful times of fellowship- but yes, it is possible- likely even; that we will have the appointed time again in less than 30 days. We will touch on why shortly. My perspective has not changed as I still expect rockets will fly on the Feast of Trumpets. It is a strong possibility that will occur on or around 10/10/10. Is that about the judgment of Ephraim- the 10 tribes and the fullness of the gentiles; where YHWH judges His “church” first? Truth Searcher-Time will tell. I am meeting with the believers in Panama for their Feast and just like you; they are a delightful people indeed! What a blessing to get to know the Family of YHWH!

Last week I touched firmly on our need for intimate relationship with our Elohim. It is not enough to assume because we may know His name; or believe we follow His Times and Seasons (Feast Dates-Appointments- Moedim) perfectly; or even to compare ourselves to others and think we are safe; based on what we have done and are doing for YHWH. So what? Do we really expect His supernatural deliverance and direction if we are not walking by His Spirit in his compassion, mercy, and power? Loved one, we cannot compare ourselves with ourselves. (1Jn 2:6) The one who says he stays (abides) in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. I expect our deliverance and ability to help others is based on who we really are in Him. Are we just “saying” Shema O Israel or do we actually hear Him, obey Him and walk as he walked? His sheep will really hear Him and follow what he says. If we reject the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy set apart Spirit) and His manifestation of power and deliverance by assuming all moves and supernatural manifestations are demonic; by what means will we be delivered? If we are walking in Torah obedience (Best we know how) should we not expect supernatural help also? When we really get intimate with Him we will walk in signs and wonders because He confirms His word with signs and wonders following. It IS about who we know and what HE HAS DONE. Not about how perfect we do things- IT IS ABOUT OUR RELATIONSHIP with the KING of GLORY!

Okay, as I promised you truth searcher, here are two eyewitness accounts about the real possibility of us starting the Biblical year thirty days early. I am teaching at Sukkot in Panama just now, but last week I was in Costa Rica. Here are two eyewitness accounts for you to consider (They are also attached as a word document): First: My request for written testimony:

Date: Wednesday, September 29, 2010, 7:41 AM Hey brother- can u please send a written short account that you gave us on Shabbat of your eyewitness to the barley declared "Abiv" this year- how many sites you visited with Nehemia, how many were actually abiv etc. no real fields found planted with barley etc- I will not use your name unless you say to, but I would like to allow people the right to determine for themselves---that there is a real possibility that we are a month early on the Feast Dates. I would like to send out your accounting in Friday's torah study to allow people time to consider your word before the Feast of Trumpets arrives!

Shalom,

Thurston

Witness Number One: Costa Rica Feast of Sukkot

Greeting Torah Fans,

I went on the annual Aviv barley search this year on the 16th of March with my 13 year old son as part of a wonderful Father/son trip to the Holy Land. Although it was my fourth trip to Israel this was the first time to accompany Nehemia and we were really looking forward to this search. I didn't really have any expectations since I was there to learn and to confirm what the "expert" had spent many years "perfecting," that was how to determine biblically when the barley was Aviv in the Land of Israel. We drove all day and stopped at about two dozen locations where they had found barley growing in years past. I kept my eyes open and learned whatever Nehemia would show us and teach us about the stages of ripeness. We found mostly milky kernels wherever we went. There were NO planted fields of barley anywhere in the land of Israel. I found this strange. This year there were lots of wheat fields but zero cultivated fields of barley where Nehemia would say in years past there were. As a result even though we found some stray heads of barley that started on their own few locations had enough barley to consider the amount present "harvestable" with a sickle (one of the definitions of harvestable). As I recall we found three locations with enough to be considered harvestable. When they picked about 10 heads and checked to see what percentage of kernels were "ripe" usually it was about 60 to 70 percent of the kernels could be counted and the rest were still soft dough stage. As I reflect on this barley search it seemed like such a little amount to consider it to be ready. However, by the definitions we followed it barely qualified as "Aviv." I know Nehemia was grateful not to have to declare a 13th month since the Rabbinic Calendar did not this year. It always increases the pressure on the Karaites to celebrate the Passover on a different month that their associates and fellow Jews in the Land. Not until this month did it occur to me why there might not have been any barley fields in the land. Could it be that the Rabbis knew it would be a questionable year for barley to be ripe by their calendar's reckoning of time and thus did they have anything to do with the suggestion of not planting barley in the Land? I know they use 4 exceptions to change dates for Feasts and they direct those changes for all Jews worldwide so it wouldn't surprise me that they also make suggestions to their farmer followers as to what crops to be planting each year for their own agenda reasons.

We did see the new moon as predicted that month but it was four days before the equinox. Nehemia doesn't consider this fact as one of the important factors in determining if a month is added or not. He used only the sighting of when the month starts and the Aviv barley search. I was astounded to find that scripture does talk about the equinox as a factor. Determining if the new moon will be before or after the equinox may not mean anything one way or the other for determining the first fruits offering will be possible for that year but it is appearing like it does make a difference six months later if Leviticus 23 can be followed, which says that when the harvest is completed then you shall come up to Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles. It appears as strong evidence that if the New Moon is sighted before the equinox it is highly likely that six months later the harvest will not be sufficiently ready to be completed before the calendar would require the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles. This is the first year that I have become aware of this delayed consequence that could cause us to unwittingly not follow Torah by what we determine at the time of the sighting of the new moon at the first or thirteenth month of determination. I hope this year clears up any doubt for all Torah followers. My heart is to do what the Father told us to do and to use all scriptures to make the determination as accurate and consistent with scripture as possible. No matter if it puts us at odds with the Jewish calendar or not. If we are willing to be a peculiar people for Yahweh's sake we might as well do it wholeheartedly and be a peculiar people in the eyes of the Jews as well as long as we can back our choices with Scripture. Praise Yahweh for this revelation this year so we can determine the times and seasons accurately especially as we approach the impactful years ahead. Let us watch for very significant events to unfold around 10-10-10 as we get to celebrate again this year just to be sure that we "got it right."

We will surely know this year if all the pieces come together and we will be certain from then.

Blessings,

Your brother in Yahshua from Costa Rica

Witness Number Two: Panama Feast Of Sukkot

Shalom Thurston,

Regarding our conversation about the Aviv barley, I was in Israel around the time of the orthodox Shavuot earlier this year (2010). With some other friends I met a lady who had been growing a small patch of barley in her front yard in the planter boxes. It was still about a week or two before Shavuot on the Jewish calendar and she was showing us the barley not yet Aviv. I don't remember clearly what she said but it was something regarding her barley's difference from national harvests, being planted in different soil and with manual watering (versus the heavenly rains only), but that hers was coming out later than the official "call" of the Aviv barley. She mentioned something about the feasts starting too early for the year. According to my personal study of the calendar, both earthly and heavenly signs lead us to believe the feasts are a month too early this year on the Jewish calculated calendar. Thank you for your words of knowledge and insight, and imparting the Ruach to us here at this feast.

In His timing,

Brittany W

With those possibilities of His appointments still to come lingering in our hearts and minds, let’s look at this week’s Torah Scriptures. We still decide for ourselves when are His appointments!

This Week’s Torah Scriptures: Vezot ha’ BrachaAnd this is the blessing”

Deuteronomy 33:1-34:12; Joshua 1: 1-18; 2 Kings Chapters 24 and 25

The Blessing!

(Deu 33:1) And this is the blessing with which Mosheh the man of Elohim blessed the children of Yisra’ĕl before his death. (Deu 33:2) And he said, “יהוה came from Sinai, and rose from Sĕʽir for them. He shone forth from Mount Paran, and came with ten thousands of set-apart ones – at His right hand a law of fire for them. (Deu 33:3) Indeed, He loves the peoples all His set-apart ones are in your hand. And they, they sat down at your feet, receiving your words. (Deu 33:4) Mosheh commanded us a Torah, an inheritance of the assembly of Yaʽaqoḇ. (Deu 33:5) And He was Sovereign in Yeshurun, when the heads of the people were gathered, the tribes of Yisra’ĕl. (Deu 33:6) Let Re’uḇĕn live, and not die, and let his men be numbered.” (Deu 33:7) And this of Yehuḏah, and he said, “Hear, יהוה, the voice of Yehuḏah, and bring him to his people. His hands shall fight for him, and you will be a help against his enemies.” (Deu 33:8) And of Lĕwi he said, “Your Tummim and Your Urim belong to your kind one, whom you tried at Massah, with whom you contended at the waters of Meriḇah, (Deu 33:9) who said of his father and mother, ‘I have not seen them.’ And he did not acknowledge his brothers, or know his own children, for they have guarded your word and watched over your covenant. (Deu 33:10) “They teach your right-rulings to Yaʽaqoḇ, and your Torah to Yisra’ĕl. They put incense before you, and a complete burnt offering on your altar. (Deu 33:11) O יהוה, bless his strength, and accept the work of his hands. Smite the loins of those who rise against him, and of those who hate him, that they rise no more.” (Deu 33:12) Of Binyamin he said, “Let the beloved of יהוה dwell in safety by Him, shielding him all the day, as he dwells between His shoulders.” (Deu 33:13) And of Yosĕph he said, “Blessed of יהוה is his land, with the choicest from the heavens, with the dew, and the deep lying beneath, (Deu 33:14) with the choice fruits of the sun, with the choice yield of the months, (Deu 33:15) with the finest of the ancient mountains, with the choicest of the everlasting hills, (Deu 33:16) with the choicest of the earth and all that fills it, and the good pleasure of Him who dwelt in the bush. Let it come on the head of Yosĕph, and on the crown of the head of him who was separate from his brothers. (Deu 33:17) “His splendor is like a first-born bull, and his horns are like the horns of the wild ox. With them he pushes the peoples to the ends of the earth. And they are the ten thousands of Ephrayim, and they are the thousands of Menashsheh.” (Deu 33:18) And of Zeḇulun he said, “Rejoice, O Zeḇulun, in your going out, and Yissasḵar in your tents! (Deu 33:19) “They call peoples to the mountain there they bring offerings of righteousness, for they draw from the riches of the seas, and treasures hidden in the sand.(Deu 33:20) And of Gaḏ he said, “Blessed is he who enlarges Gaḏ. He dwells as a lion, and shall tear off the arm, also the crown. (Deu 33:21) “And he chose the best for himself, for there the portion of the lawgiver was hidden. And he came with the heads of the people. The righteousness of יהוה he did, and His right-rulings with Yisra’ĕl.” (Deu 33:22) And of Dan he said, “Dan is a lion’s cub that leaps from Bashan.” (Deu 33:23) And of Naphtali he said, “O Naphtali, satisfied with pleasure, and filled with the blessing of יהוה possess the west and the south.” (Deu 33:24) And of Ashĕr he said, “Ashĕr is most blessed of sons. Let him be accepted by his brothers, and dip his foot in oil. (Deu 33:25) “Your sandals are iron and bronze, and your strength as your days. (Deu 33:26) “O Yeshurun, there is no one like Ěl, riding the heavens to help you, and on the clouds, in His Excellency. (Deu 33:27) “The Elohim of old is a refuge, and beneath are everlasting arms. And He drives out the enemy from before you and says, ‘Destroy!’ (Deu 33:28) “Thus Yisra’ĕl dwells in safety, the fountain of Yaʽaqoḇ alone, in a land of grain and new wine. His heavens also drop down dew. (Deu 33:29) Blessed are you, O Yisra’ĕl! Who is like you, a people saved by יהוה, the shield of your help, and He who is the sword of your Excellency! And your enemies are subdued for you, and you tread down their high places.”

Here are the soon coming boundaries of Israel!

(Deu 34:1) And Mosheh went up from the desert plains of Mo’aḇ to Mount Neḇo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Yeriḥo. And יהוה showed him all the land of Gilʽaḏ as far as Dan, (Deu 34:2) and all Naphtali and the land of Ephrayim and Menashsheh, all the land of Yehuḏah as far as the Western Sea, (Deu 34:3) and the Negeḇ, and the plain of the Valley of Yeriḥo, the city of palm trees, as far as Tsoʽar. (Deu 34:4) And יהוה said to him, “This is the land of which I swore to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Yaʽaqoḇ, saying, ‘To your seed I give it.’ I have let you look at it with your eyes, but you do not pass over there.” (Deu 34:5) And Mosheh the servant of יהוה died there in the land of Mo’aḇ, according to the mouth of יהוה. (Deu 34:6) And He buried him in a valley in the land of Mo’aḇ, opposite Bĕyth Peʽor, and no one knows his burial place to this day. (Deu 34:7) And Mosheh was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his freshness gone. (Deu 34:8) The children of Yisra’ĕl wept for Mosheh; there in the desert plains of Mo’aḇ, for thirty days. And the days of weeping and mourning for Mosheh were completed. (Deu 34:9) And Yehoshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Mosheh had laid his hands on him. And the children of Yisra’ĕl listened to him, and did as יהוה had commanded Mosheh. (Deu 34:10) And since then no prophet has arisen in Yisra’ĕl like Mosheh, whom יהוה knew face to face, (Perhaps this is why Sha’ul (Paul) said we see Him dimly as in a mirror) (Deu 34:11) for all the signs and wonders which יהוה sent him to do in the land of Mitsrayim, before Pharaoh, and before all his servants, and in all his land, (Deu 34:12) and for all that strong hand and all the great fearsome deeds which Mosheh did before the eyes of all Yisra’ĕl.

YHWH restates the boundaries to Joshua: Everywhere you step is your land!

(Jos 1:1) And it came to be, after the death of Mosheh the servant of יהוה, that יהוה spoke to Yehoshua son of Nun, the assistant of Mosheh, saying, (Jos 1:2) “Mosheh My servant is dead, so now, arise, pass over this Yardĕn, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the children of Yisra’ĕl. (Jos 1:3) Every place on which the sole of your foot treads I have given you, as I spoke to Mosheh. (Jos 1:4) “From the wilderness and this Leḇanon even as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Ḥittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, is your border. (Jos 1:5) “No man is going to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Mosheh, so I am with you. I do not fail you nor forsake you. (Jos 1:6) “Be strong and courageous, for you are to let this people inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

A timely message for us- Be strong (NOT FEARFUL!)

(Jos 1:7) “Only be strong and very courageous, to guard to do according to all the Torah which Mosheh my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it right or left, so that you act wisely wherever you go. (Jos 1:8) Do not let this Book of the Torah depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and act wisely. (Jos 1:9) “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, nor be discouraged, for יהוה your Elohim is with you wherever you go.” (Jos 1:10) And Yehoshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, (Jos 1:11) “Pass through the midst of the camp and command the people, saying, ‘Prepare food for yourselves, for within three days you are passing over this Yardĕn, to go in to possess the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you to possess.’ ” (Jos 1:12) And Yehoshua spoke to the Re’uḇĕnites and to the Gaḏites and to half the tribe of Menashsheh, saying, (Jos 1:13) “Remember the word which Mosheh, servant of יהוה, commanded you, saying, ‘יהוה your Elohim is giving you rest, and He shall give you this land.’ (Jos 1:14) “Let your wives, your little ones, and your livestock stay in the land which Mosheh gave you beyond the Yardĕn. But you shall pass before your brothers in fives, all your brave fighters, and shall help them, (Jos 1:15) until יהוה has given your brothers rest, as unto you. So shall they also take possession of the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving them. Then you shall return to the land of your possession, and shall possess that which Mosheh the servant of יהוה gave you beyond the Yardĕn toward the rising of the sun.” (Jos 1:16) And they answered Yehoshua, saying, “All that you have commanded us we do, and wherever you send us we go. (Jos 1:17) “According to all that we obeyed Mosheh, so we obey you. Only, let יהוה your Elohim be with you, as He was with Mosheh. (Jos 1:18) “Whoever rebels against your command and does not obey your words, in all that you command him, is put to death. Only be strong and courageous.”

Judgment will fall as YHWH’s servants the prophets declare!

(2Ki 24:1) In his days Neḇuḵaḏnetstsar sovereign (King) of Baḇel came up, and Yehoyaqim became his servant for three years. And he turned and rebelled against him. (2Ki 24:2) And יהוה sent against him raiding bands of Chaldeans, and raiding bands of Aram, and raiding bands of Mo’aḇ, and raiding bands of the children of Ammon. And He sent them against Yehuḏah to destroy it, according to the word of יהוה which He had spoken by His servants the prophets. (2Ki 24:3) Only at the command of יהוה this came upon Yehuḏah, to remove them from His presence, because of the sins of Menashsheh, according to all that he did (2Ki 24:4) and also because of the innocent blood that he shed. He filled Yerushalayim with innocent blood, which יהוה would not forgive. (2Ki 24:5) And the rest of the acts of Yehoyaqim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the sovereigns of Yehuḏah? (2Ki 24:6) So Yehoyaqim slept with his fathers. And Yehoyaḵin his son reigned in his place. (2Ki 24:7) And the sovereign of Mitsrayim did not come out of his land again, for the sovereign of Baḇel had taken all that belonged to the sovereign of Mitsrayim from the wadi of Mitsrayim to the River Euphrates. (2Ki 24:8) Yehoyaḵin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Yerushalayim three months. And his mother’s name was Neḥushta the daughter of Elnathan of Yerushalayim. (2Ki 24:9) And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, according to all that his father did. (2Ki 24:10) At that time the servants of Neḇuḵaḏnetstsar sovereign of Baḇel came up against Yerushalayim, and the city was besieged. (2Ki 24:11) And Neḇuḵaḏnetstsar sovereign of Baḇel came against the city, as his servants were besieging it. (2Ki 24:12) And Yehoyaḵin sovereign of Yehuḏah, and his mother, and his servants, and his heads, and his eunuchs went out to the sovereign of Baḇel. And the sovereign of Baḇel, in the eighth year of his reign, took him prisoner. (2Ki 24:13) And he took from there all the treasures of the House of יהוה and the treasures of the sovereign’s house, and he cut in pieces all the objects of gold which Shelomoh sovereign of Yisra’ĕl had made in the Hĕḵal of יהוה, as יהוה had said. (2Ki 24:14) And he exiled all Yerushalayim, and all the officers and all the mighty brave men – ten thousand exiles – and all the craftsmen and smiths. None remained except the poorest people of the land. (2Ki 24:15) And he exiled Yehoyaḵin to Baḇel. And the sovereign’s mother, and the sovereign’s wives, and his eunuchs, and the leading men of the land he exiled from Yerushalayim to Baḇel. (2Ki 24:16) And all the mighty brave men, seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths, one thousand, all who were strong and fit for battle, these the sovereign of Baḇel brought to Baḇel into exile. (2Ki 24:17) And the sovereign of Baḇel set up Mattanyah, Yehoyaḵin’s uncle, to reign in his place, and changed his name to Tsiḏqiyahu. (2Ki 24:18) Tsiḏqiyahu was twenty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Yerushalayim. And his mother’s name was Ḥamutal the daughter of Yirmeyahu of Liḇnah. (2Ki 24:19) And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, according to all that Yehoyaqim did. (2Ki 24:20) For this took place in Yerushalayim and Yehuḏah because of the displeasure of יהוה, until He had cast them out from His presence. And Tsiḏqiyahu rebelled against the sovereign of Baḇel.

Every country (That claims to love YHWH) but will not obey His precepts will be vomited out of the land!

(2Ki 25:1) And it came to be in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, that Neḇuḵaḏnetstsar sovereign of Baḇel and all his army came against Yerushalayim and encamped against it, and they built a siege wall against it all around. (2Ki 25:2) And the city was besieged until the eleventh year of Sovereign Tsiḏqiyahu. (2Ki 25:3) By the ninth of the month the scarcity of food had become so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land. (2Ki 25:4) Then the city wall was breached, and all the men of battle fled at night by way of the gate between two walls, which was by the sovereign’s garden, even though the Chaldeans were still encamped all around against the city. And the sovereign went by way of the desert plain. (2Ki 25:5) And the army of the Chaldeans pursued the sovereign, and overtook him in the desert plains of Yeriḥo, and all his army was scattered from him. (2Ki 25:6) And they seized the sovereign and brought him up to the sovereign of Baḇel at Riblah, and they pronounced sentence on him. (2Ki 25:7) And they slaughtered the sons of Tsiḏqiyahu before his eyes, and put out the eyes of Tsiḏqiyahu, and bound him with bronze shackles, and took him to Baḇel. (2Ki 25:8) And in the fifth month, on the seventh of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Sovereign Neḇuḵaḏnetstsar sovereign of Baḇel, Neḇuzaraḏan the chief of the guard, a servant of the sovereign of Baḇel, came to Yerushalayim. (2Ki 25:9) And he burned the House of יהוה and the house of the sovereign, and all the houses of Yerushalayim – even every great house he burned with fire. (2Ki 25:10) And all the army of the Chaldeans who were with the chief of the guard broke down the walls of Yerushalayim all around. (2Ki 25:11) And Neḇuzaraḏan the chief of the guard took into exile the rest of the people who were left in the city and the deserters who deserted to the sovereign of Baḇel, with the rest of the multitude. (2Ki 25:12) But the chief of the guard left some of the poor of the land as vinedressers and farmers. (2Ki 25:13) And the bronze columns that were in the House of יהוה, and the stands and the bronze Sea that were in the House of יהוה, the Chaldeans broke in pieces, and took their bronze away to Baḇel. (2Ki 25:14) And they took the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the ladles, and all the bronze utensils the priests used in the service. (2Ki 25:15) And the chief of the guard took the fire holders and the basins which were of solid gold and solid silver. (2Ki 25:16) The bronze of all these utensils was beyond measure – the two columns, the one Sea, and the stands, which Shelomoh had made for the House of יהוה. (2Ki 25:17) The height of one column was eighteen cubits, and the capital on it was of bronze. And the height of the capital was three cubits, and the network and pomegranates all around the capital were all of bronze. And the second column was the same, with a network. (2Ki 25:18) And the chief of the guard took Serayah the chief priest, and Tsephanyahu the second priest, and the three doorkeepers. (2Ki 25:19) And out of the city he took a certain eunuch who was appointed over the men of battle, and five men of those who saw the sovereign’s face, who were found in the city, and the chief scribe of the army who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the city. (2Ki 25:20) And Neḇuzaraḏan, chief of the guard, took them and made them go to the sovereign of Baḇel at Riblah. (2Ki 25:21) And the sovereign of Baḇel smote them and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Ḥamath. So he exiled Yehuḏah from its own land. (2Ki 25:22) And he appointed Geḏalyahu son of Aḥiqam, son of Shaphan, over the people who were left in the land of Yehuḏah, whom Neḇuḵaḏnetstsar sovereign of Baḇel had left. (2Ki 25:23) And all the commanders of the armies, they and their men, heard that the sovereign of Baḇel had appointed Geḏalyahu. And they came to Geḏalyahu at Mitspah, even Yishmaʽĕl son of Nethanyah, and Yoḥanan son of Qarĕaḥ, and Serayah son of Tanḥumeth the Netophathite, and Yaʽazanyahu the son of a Maʽaḵathite, they and their men. (2Ki 25:24) And Geḏalyahu swore to them and their men, and said to them, “Do not be afraid of the servants of the Chaldeans. Dwell in the land and serve the sovereign of Baḇel, and let it be well with you.” (2Ki 25:25) And in the seventh month it came to be that Yishmaʽĕl son of Nethanyah, son of Elishama, of the seed of the reign, came with ten men and smote Geḏalyahu that he died, and the Yehuḏim, and the Chaldeans who were with him at Mitspah. (2Ki 25:26) And all the people rose up, small and great, and the commanders of the armies, and went to Mitsrayim, for they were afraid of the Chaldeans. (2Ki 25:27) And it came to be in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Yehoyaḵin sovereign of Yehuḏah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-seventh of the month, that Ewil-Meroḏaḵ sovereign of Baḇel, in the year that he began to reign, released Yehoyaḵin sovereign of Yehuḏah from prison, (2Ki 25:28) and spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the sovereigns who were with him in Baḇel, (2Ki 25:29) and changed his prison garments. And he ate bread continually before the sovereign all the days of his life. (2Ki 25:30) And as his allowance, a continual allowance was given to him from the sovereign, a quota for each day, all the days of his life.

Are We Straining Gnats??

Friday, September 24, 2010 TM

Shabbat Shalom Loved One! (Read this entire study- it will bring you help!)

Let’s assume we all know the exact seasons? SO WHAT! I will address that comment later but is it possible we have strained a gnat? Surely NOT US! (Mat 23:23) "Woe to you who are scribes and Pharisees-hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the Torah (law): justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others. (Mat 23:24) "You blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! (Mat 23:25) "Woe to you scribes and Pharisees- hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self-indulgence. (Mat 23:26) "You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may become clean also. (Mat 23:27) "Woe to you scribes and Pharisees- hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. (Mat 23:28) "So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Let’s review last week’s study briefly, afterwards I would love to take us to an understanding that I believe I have been shown in my own soul searching and seeking Yahshua’s face in addressing the Rockets Fly issue: Where are the rockets flying you said YHWH told you would fly at the Feast of Trumpets 2010? Afterwards, I will touch on our expectations and then what I believe is a direction of vastly more importance to YHWH! (After much prayer and study these are the three possibilities I will review)

(1) I could say that I guess He didn’t really tell me that- but some deceiving spirit told me; but I do not believe that at all. I say in my defense that the voice I heard has never lied to me before; time will tell. So I confess- me hearing an evil spirit is a possibility.

(2) The rockets did fly but the date was the orthodox date for the Feast of Trumpets as from Wednesday evening (Thursday Biblically) through Sunday- 10 rockets were fired at Israel. However, why would YHWH emphasize “Rockets fly!” if it was as insignificant as rockets flying that did no real damage to Israel or Damascus or anywhere; that certainly would not meet my expectations- but again I confess rockets did fly is a possibility.

(3) We are not yet to the fall feast of trumpets 2010 is also a possibility. I have rec’d much mail from loved Ones around the world who believe that and I have also included a full quotation as possibility #3 from a Torah Keeping Congregation in Jerusalem:

Congregation of YHWH, Jerusalem, Po Box 832, Carteret NJ 07008

Greetings and Shalom in the wonderful names of Yahweh and Yahshua; I pray that all of Yah’s set apart saints are well. We continue to work hard here in Israel for the end time work of Yahweh in restoring His Holy Land. As the Jewish New Year and Holy days are just a week away, I wanted to once again bring up the subject of our brother Judah incorrectly starting the year this year in winter, before the turning of the year to spring/summer, after the vernal equinox.

What happens living here in Israel is that when a mistake like that is made it will throw off the whole agricultural calendar and being here- we can clearly see the mistake. It is no doubt that it is still summer in Israel and harvest time is NOT here. The temperatures have been in the 90’s or higher and there is no harvest yet for pomegranates, dates, figs, or olives. Most of the above fruits do not even have up to 20% harvest at present. The only fruit that has been in harvest is the grapes which always come in mid to late August. The bible is very clear what is the benchmark for the turning of the year; the equinox. Ex 34: 22 And you shall observe a Feast of Weeks for yourself, the first-fruits of the harvest of wheat; also the Feast of Ingathering after the turn (Tekufah) of the year. The word turn of the year in Hebrew is Tekufah. In Hebrew this word means the equinox. The feast of Sukkot was a celebration of the Israelites that if they obeyed Yahweh throughout the year, then they would receive His blessing in the fall harvest and after gathering in the harvest they would bring their fruits up before Yahweh and celebrate before Him in Jerusalem, His set apart city. It also stands to reason that if the fall equinox is the benchmark for keeping Sukkot, then the spring equinox would be the benchmark for Aviv and the start of the year.

Ex 13: 10 And you shall keep this ordinance (Passover) in its season, from year to year.

Since the harvest does not even begin until early September at the earliest, and lasts 3 to 4 weeks, and then it would take up to a week to even get to Jerusalem from many places in Israel, it stands to reason that the feast would have to be after the equinox, which is the changing point of the seasons. It is inconceivable that people would leave their harvest to fall off the trees and rot while they come empty handed to Jerusalem for an almost month’s journey roundtrip. Scripture and mere simple logic would tell you that the feast in the spring and fall would have to come after the harvest is in.

Lev 23: 10 Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, When you come in to the land which I am giving to you, and have reaped its harvest, and have brought in the Omer, of the beginning of your harvest, to the priest.

When you put on a Hebraic mindset you will clearly see that Yahweh’s biblical calendar is both celestial and agriculture and fully revolves around the harvest of Israel. The feast in the spring and fall could only occur AFTER the harvest is in, which is AFTER the equinox. This is the way it was observed in biblical times. I have enclosed again for you the study I did on the Biblical calendar. I encourage each of you to pray to Yahweh and with a sincere heart and ask Him to guide you into the truth, which we all seek. Please know I am only writing this to try to help the brethren get a more full understanding of Yahweh’s biblical calendar from Israel and I am not criticizing or judging those who keep a different calendar. We wish our brother Judah a most blessed Holy day season for the different days they will be keeping from the biblical calendar.

I pray for all of Yahweh’s true saints daily as I know that you pray for me.

B’Shem Yahshua,

Don

Do I accept that as the correct manner of timing His Feasts? After some diligent study of my own- let’s look at the possibility: I obviously had only believed they only used the "month of the Abiv" Scripture to start the year; leaving out any reasoning or discussion of the Sanhedrin/witnesses that it still may be too early- as in 6 months the harvest has to be complete for the Fall Feasts to begin. I think there is a very strong possibility that the early accounting we have always used- may be wrong. Since it is just now 30% harvest ready in the last report, we may be too early. A few (2) have commented that Monte and Michael are confessed false prophets! (This originally comes from a Torah “Teacher” who teaches against praying in tongues as though it is evil!) Yikes- I wouldn’t want to even be close to that “Teacher” in an unrepentant condition when Yahshua judges! Out of fear, that servant has assumed Yahshua did not mean what He said: (John 7:37) Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. (John 7:38) "He who believes in me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being (belly) will flow rivers of living water.'" (John 7:39) But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Yahshua was not yet glorified.

Then Yahshua teaches that don’t be fearful and expect that YHWH will give a snake or scorpion when we ask for the Holy Spirit. That is assigning the works of the Spirit to the demonic realm, as noted as snakes and scorpions; which the Scriptures testify of themselves is the demonic realm- (Luke 11:10) "For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened. (Luke 11:11) "Now suppose one of you fathers is asked by his son for a fish; he will not give him a snake instead of a fish, will he? (Luke 11:12) "Or if he is asked for an egg, he will not give him a scorpion, will he? (Luke 11:13) "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?" (Luke 11:14) And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute; when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed. (Luke 11:15) But some of them said, "He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons."

Lastly, here is where we know that the demonic realm is represented by snakes and scorpions; (Luke 10:18) And He said to them, "I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. (Luke 10:19) "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.

Understand, loved one that a spirit of fear is hasatan’s tool for keeping us in the flesh realm where we have no authority to overcome. Rejecting the power of His Spirit and trusting Him with our tongues would really mean we don’t believe Yahshua that He would not give us a snake or scorpion if we ask for His Spirit! Remember it is our tongue (that no man can tame- only YHWH can) that directs our very lives like a rudder on a ship or a bridle on a horse.

One last point on this is that the fearful will be tossed into hell’s flames along with the drunks, sorcerer’s etc. furthermore; it may put us as a lazy fearful servant that everything he thought he produced will be removed and given to an un-fearful servant (A servant who will produce fruit) when the King returns!

I emphatically do not consider either Monte or Michael to be false prophets in any manner. They, like us, are mere men and may miss it. They are trying to wake up people as “watchmen” by sounding the trumpet as they are required to by Scripture. Where is the mercy and compassion among the Torah Keepers? Based on Yahshua’s definition of a real believer; You will know them by their love (John 13:34) “A renewed command I give to you, that you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another. (John 13:35) By this shall all know that you are my taught ones, if you have love for one another. You will not know them by the words they speak, their understanding of Torah, nor their wisdom or abilities, their vast knowledge and understandings, their tzis- tzis, their beautiful Tallit, or their desire to warn the brethren and judge other servants of the King! So our pointed question to ourselves is this: Do people know we follow Messiah Yahshua by our love? Do we gently restore such a one who is in error? Understand this simple truth loved one; we will do well to judge ourselves; because The Judge is at the door! We are all required to be Berean’s, and search out these matters for ourselves as I have ALWAYS contended. You, me, all of us will need to quit judging others and study these matters out for ourselves! Remember, in the manner you judge- you will be judged! Let’s let Him do all the judging. From one perspective, IF these men (or anyone for that matter) lead people away from Torah they are false prophets no matter what they say comes true or not. I don't think they qualify in that matter at least. I thank YHWH that He alone will judge me and along with us all; as He alone is the Lawgiver and judge and I don't have the right to judge another's servant. Was Isaiah a false prophet?

Isa 38:1 In those days Ḥizqiyahu was sick and near death. And Yeshayahu the prophet, the son of Amots, came to him, and said to him, "Thus said יהוה, ‘Set your house in order, for you are going to die and not live.’ "Isa 38:2 And Ḥizqiyahu turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to יהוה, Isa 38:3 and said, "I pray, O יהוה, please remember how I have walked before You in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done what is good in Your eyes." And Ḥizqiyahu wept bitterly. Isa 38:4 And the word of יהוה came to Yeshayahu, saying, Isa 38:5 "Go and say to Ḥizqiyahu, ‘Thus said יהוה, the Elohim of Dawiḏ your father, "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears. See, I am adding fifteen years to your days.

Unlike Isaiah (obviously), I have had no word from YHWH in change of plan about these matters, and knowing also, I have never been lied to by that voice before, I wait for YHWH’s vengeance or judgment. I expect He alone can judge His servants righteously.

What about Yonah? He proclaimed destruction in 40 days. Was he a false prophet? Not on your life- but it certainly appears he did not hear YHWH:

(Jonah 3:2) “Arise, go to Ninewĕh, that great city, and proclaim to it the message that I am speaking to you.” (Jonah 3:3) And Yonah arose and went to Ninewĕh, according to the word of יהוה. Now Ninewĕh was a great city before Elohim, of three day’s journey. (Jonah 3:4) And Yonah began to go in to the city on the first day’s walk. And he cried out and said, “Yet forty days, and Ninewĕh shall be overthrown!”

But the King of Nineveh proclaimed fasting and repentance and look what actually happened;

(Jonah 3:7) And he proclaimed and said throughout Ninewĕh, “By decree of the sovereign and his nobles: No man or beast, herd or flock, shall taste whatever – let them not eat, let them not even drink water. (Jonah 3:8) “But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and call mightily to Elohim. And let each one turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands. (Jonah 3:9) “Who knows whether Elohim does turn and relent, and shall turn away from the heat of His displeasure, so that we do not perish?” (Jonah 3:10) And Elohim saw their works that they turned from their evil way. And Elohim relented from the evil which He had said He would do to them, and He did not do it.

Last week's teaching pretty well summed up the 3 possibilities. It did make me research a certain Hebrew word and I am not certain again how it is spelled but in essence it is Tekufah--turn of year (H8622 and H5362). I researched it in NASB with Strong’s, the Transliteration, King James w/strong’s, Revised Webster’s Version, The Biblia Hebraica Stuttsgartensia w/strong’s, the Interlinear, Hebrew old testament w/strong’s, and many more of Exodus 34:22 stating that after the Fall Harvest is brought in THEN (AFTER- the turn of the year) you may have the end gathering. I looked at all of these as referenced and did not find one that disagreed with this position. At last check the harvest was at less than 30% ripened for harvest. Did you read the Congregation of Jerusalem's letter above from last week's Torah Study? This is what made me to see the real probability that we are 1 month early. But in all fairness, I indicated all 3 possibilities. He has ever lied to me before so I humble myself and wait for His vindication or punishment! If I misled- I will surely repent!

OK Truth searcher, those are the three possibilities as I see them. Read on about 10-10-10! Looks like I will be keeping the fall feasts; Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement (Yom Kippor), and Sukkot twice this year! WHY? You may ask. Again, I realize this one thing; I don’t break fellowship with our brothers and sisters- or judge them, whether we disagree concerning how to even say the name, when the Feast dates are, or whether are not we are even awakened to the restoration of His Biblical Feasts as appointments and Moedim or shadow pictures as teaching things to come- we are brothers and sisters belonging to Yahshua and we are not the Judge. There is truly only one Lawgiver and one Judge and we are not capable of judging another’s servants. Since He is in charge of restoring all things, let’s understand clearly that until He gives the revelation and understanding we may all be WRONG about the times and seasons- even if we don’t realize it. Let’s actually do that thing He commanded His body to do: LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS HE LOVED US! Understand this, if we don’t walk in His love and compassion for the least of us, we are unknowingly preparing our hearts and ears to hear Him say; “DEPART FROM ME!” Yes, I agree we are supposed to understand the times and seasons (Moedim-Appointments-Feasts of the LORD) as Sha’ul (Paul) stated about “They will say PEACE AND SAFETY” which is another reason we may see some sort of Mideast Peace Agreement shortly also:

(1Th 5:1) Now, brothers, as to the times and the seasons, you do not need to be written to. (1Th 5:2) You yourselves know very well that the day of יהוה comes as a thief in the night. (1Th 5:3) For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then suddenly destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they shall not escape. (1Th 5:4) But you, brothers, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. (1Th 5:5) For you are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night or of darkness. (1Th 5:6) So, then, we should not sleep, as others do, but we should watch and be sober. (1Th 5:7) For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. (1Th 5:8) But we who are of the day should be sober, putting on the breastplate of belief and love, and as a helmet the expectation of deliverance. (1Th 5:9) Elohim did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain deliverance through our Master יהושע Messiah… Coincidentally, it may mean the Feast of Trumpets this year will be 10-10-10! How ironic I thought as this thought flooded my spirit as I awoke the second time this morning at 5:30 am. This is now what I expect; October 10, 2010 or 10-10-10 Rockets fly somewhere serious. Could I be wrong? ABSOLUTELY- I certainly hope so, because we need more time to repent and prepare our hearts, souls and physically!

SO WHAT! Let’s now assume we do understand the times and seasons of these appointment with our King! SO WHAT! We have underestimated hasatan’s deception. We (Torah Keepers) have for the most part- out of fear; rejected any power or supernatural signs and wonders as demonic. We know that there will be many demonic signs done by the wicked one in these end times so out of our own fears, we reject ALL supernatural! So, how do we expect YHWH to deliver us into His power and deliverance that we do exploits in His name and have power over all the power of the enemy? SO WHAT! We know the times and seasons, but have rejected the power of His Spirit as demonic? Who will our helper be? We will not save ourselves by walking out the Torah even as well as the Pharisees (who may I remind us- memorized the entire Torah-many by the time they were 13- some reports by age 20) (Mat 5:20)For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

SO WHAT? Here is the real SO WHAT for those of who claim to love Him by walking in obedience. 1 John 2:6 says this: “the one who claims to live in him must walk as he walked.” Consider with me; the same spirit that was on Elijah will come again according to Yahshua, and it was that spirit that also rested on John the Baptist. John’s name (Yah Chanan) literally means Yah’s mercy in Hebrew. We remember what John came preaching: REPENT! The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand- that is the only way to receive Yah’s mercy. He is coming. We must make ourselves ready if we really expect to be a bride.

So here is the question to you and I that must be addressed before we stand in His presence: if someone from our past or present came into the room as we were eating a meal- would that person’s presence change our heart rate in any way? Would it make us uncomfortable? If so it is likely we need to forgive that person. ALL OF THEM! No, we don’t have the power to forgive the sin, only Yahshua can do that- we must separate the person from the sin or transgression done against us and ask Yahshua to nail it to His stake (cross). Yes, all of them, even if that person is dead and cannot walk into the room with us. Take a moment right now and obey Yahshua who warned us, (Mat 6:14) "For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. (Mat 6:15) "But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. Remember Stephen’s words to those who were not even asking for forgiveness; (Act 7:59) they went on stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!" (Act 7:60) Then falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them!" Having said this, he fell asleep. Remember also to really walk like Yahshua walked and enter in to all of His promises given when the Kingdom of Heaven actually activates in our lives NOW on this earth as it IS in Heaven; we must walk as Yahshua walked. Here is my second witness for us to do what He said and walk as He walked: (Luke 23:34) and יהושע (Yahshua) said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots. (Luke 23:35) And the people were standing, looking on, and the rulers also were sneering with them, saying, “He saved others, let Him save Himself if He is the Messiah, the chosen of Elohim.”

As we also walk in obedience and repentance in unconditionally forgiving people and allowing Messiah to nail their sins to the tree (As we actually plead for them on their behalf to the Father) we now qualify for all His benefits! YHWH will protect, direct, heal, and provide those that will walk by his Spirit and not just the letter of the law but the Spirit of Torah! We now begin to learn how to walk by the Spirit and not the flesh realm as the flesh (natural way- eye for an eye etc) which only guarantees failure and death! Let’s call on the living Elohim and seek the truth of His Spirit while He may be found! These are the Days of Elijah- Let us become the true Bride which now makes herself READY!

Here are the Torah Scriptures for this week: Tabernacles

Leviticus 22:26—23:44; Numbers 29:12-16; Zechariah 14:1-21;

Revelation Chapter 21:1-8; Joel Chapters 1, 2, and 3

(Lev 22:26) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Lev 22:27) “When a bull or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall be seven days with its mother. And from the eighth day and thereafter it is acceptable as an offering made by fire to יהוה. (Lev 22:28) “But do not slaughter a cow or a sheep and its young on the same day. (Lev 22:29) “And when you bring a slaughtering of thanksgiving to יהוה, bring it for your acceptance. (Lev 22:30) “It is eaten that same day leave none of it till morning. I am יהוה. (Lev 22:31) “And you shall guard my commands and do them. I am יהוה. (Lev 22:32) “And do not profane my set-apart name, and I shall be set-apart among the children of Yisra’ĕl. I am יהוה, who sets you apart, (Lev 22:33) who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, to be your Elohim. I am יהוה.” (Lev 23:1) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,

(Lev 23:2) “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and say to them, ‘the appointed times of יהוה, which you are to proclaim as set-apart gatherings, my appointed times, are these: (Lev 23:3) ‘Six days work is done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a set-apart gathering. You do no work it is a Sabbath to יהוה in all your dwellings. (Lev 23:4) ‘These are the appointed times of יהוה, set-apart gatherings which you are to proclaim at their appointed times. (Lev 23:5) ‘In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, is the Passover to יהוה. (Lev 23:6) ‘And on the fifteenth day of this month is the Festival of Unleavened Bread to יהוה – seven days you eat unleavened bread. (Lev 23:7) ‘On the first day you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work. (Lev 23:8) ‘And you shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוה for seven days. On the seventh day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.’ ” (Lev 23:9) and יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Lev 23:10) “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and you shall say to them, ‘When you come into the land which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest to the priest. (Lev 23:11) ‘And he shall wave the sheaf before יהוה, for your acceptance. On the morrow after the Sabbath the priest waves it. (Lev 23:12) ‘And on that day when you wave the sheaf, you shall prepare a male lamb a year old, a perfect one, as a burnt offering to יהוה, (Lev 23:13) and its grain offering: two-tenths of an ĕphah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to יהוה, a sweet fragrance, and its drink offering: one-fourth of a hin of wine. (Lev 23:14) ‘And you do not eat bread or roasted grain or fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your Elohim – a law forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. (Lev 23:15) ‘And from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, you shall count for yourselves: seven completed Sabbaths. (Lev 23:16) ‘Until the morrow after the seventh Sabbath you count fifty days, then you shall bring a new grain offering to יהוה. (Lev 23:17) ‘Bring from your dwellings for a wave offering two loaves of bread, of two-tenths of a ĕphah of fine flour they are, baked with leaven, first-fruits to יהוה. (Lev 23:18) ‘And besides the bread, you shall bring seven lambs a year old, perfect ones, and one young bull and two rams. They are a burnt offering to יהוה, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, an offering made by fire for a sweet fragrance to יהוה. (Lev 23:19) ‘And you shall offer one male goat as a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old, as a peace offering. (Lev 23:20) ‘And the priest shall wave them, besides the bread of the first-fruits, as a wave offering before יהוה, besides the two lambs. They are set-apart to יהוה for the priest. (Lev 23:21) ‘And on this same day you shall proclaim a set-apart gathering for yourselves, you do no servile work on it – a law forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. (Lev 23:22) ‘And when you reap the harvest of your land do not completely reap the corners of your field when you reap, and do not gather any gleaning from your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the stranger. I am יהוה your Elohim.’ ”

Feast of Trumpets and Yom Kippur- Atonement- Sukkopt/Tabernacles

(Lev 23:23) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Lev 23:24) “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you have a rest, a remembrance of blowing of trumpets, a set-apart gathering. (Lev 23:25) ‘You do no servile work, and you shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוה.’ ” (Lev 23:26) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Lev 23:27) “On the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. It shall be a set-apart gathering for you. And you shall afflict your beings, and shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוה. (Lev 23:28) “And you do no work on that same day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before יהוה your Elohim. (Lev 23:29) “For any being who is not afflicted on that same day, he shall be cut off from his people. (Lev 23:30) “And any being who does any work on that same day, that being I shall destroy from the midst of his people. (Lev 23:31) “You do no work – a law forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. (Lev 23:32) ‘It is a Sabbath of rest to you, and you shall afflict your beings. On the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you observe your Sabbath.” Tabernacles- Sukkot- Let’s all go build our mangers! (Lev 23:33) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Lev 23:34) “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of Booths for seven days to יהוה. (Lev 23:35) ‘On the first day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work. (Lev 23:36) ‘For seven days you bring an offering made by fire to יהוה. On the eighth day there shall be a set-apart gathering for you, and you shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוה. It is a closing festival, you do no servile work. (Lev 23:37) ‘These are the appointed times of יהוה which you proclaim as set-apart gatherings, to bring an offering made by fire to יהוה, a burnt offering and a grain offering, a slaughtering and drink offerings, as commanded for every day – (Lev 23:38) besides the Sabbaths of יהוה, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your voluntary offerings which you give to יהוה. (Lev 23:39) ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you gather in the fruit of the land, observe the festival of יהוה for seven days. On the first day is a rest, and on the eighth day a rest. (Lev 23:40) ‘And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of good trees, branches of palm trees, twigs of leafy trees, and willows of the stream, and shall rejoice before יהוה your Elohim for seven days. (Lev 23:41) ‘And you shall observe it as a festival to יהוה for seven days in the year – a law forever in your generations. Observe it in the seventh month. (Lev 23:42) ‘Dwell in booth (Sukkoth’s- mangers) for seven days; all who are native Yisra’ĕlites dwell in booths, (Lev 23:43) so that your generations know that I made the children of Yisra’ĕl dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim. I am יהוה your Elohim.’ ” (Lev 23:44) Thus did Mosheh speak of the appointed times of יהוה to the children of Yisra’ĕl.

Another witness- Tabernacles – when Yahshua dwells with His people!

(Num 29:12) ‘And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work. And you shall observe a festival to יהוה seven days, (Num 29:13) and you shall bring near a burnt offering, an offering made by fire a sweet fragrance to יהוה: thirteen young bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs a year old, perfect ones they are, (Num 29:14) and their grain offering: fine flour mixed with oil, three-tenths of an ĕphah for each of the thirteen bulls, two-tenths for each of the two rams, (Num 29:15) and one-tenth for each of the fourteen lambs, (Num 29:16) and one male goat as a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.

Yahshua is coming! He will fight for us so we now make ourselves ready!

(Zec 14:1) See, a day shall come for יהוה, and your spoil shall be divided in your midst. (Zec 14:2) And I shall gather all the gentiles to battle against Yerushalayim1. And the city shall be taken, the houses plundered, and the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into exile, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Footnote: 1Joel 3:2, Zeph. 3:8, Rev. 16:14. (Zec 14:3) And יהוה shall go forth, and He shall fight against those gentiles, as He fights in the day of battle. (Zec 14:4) And in that day His feet shall stand upon the Mount of Olives, which faces Yerushalayim on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, a very great valley, and half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south. (Zec 14:5) And you shall flee to the valley of my mountain – for the valley of the mountains reaches to Atsal. And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziyah sovereign of Yehuḏah. יהוה my Elohim shall come – all the set-apart ones with you. (Zec 14:6) And in that day it shall be: there is no light, it is dark. (Zec 14:7) And it shall be one day which is known to יהוה, neither day nor night, but at evening time there shall be light. (Zec 14:8) And in that day it shall be that living waters flow from Yerushalayim1, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea, in summer as well as in winter. Footnote: 1Rev. 22:1-2. (Zec 14:9) And יהוה shall be Sovereign over all the earth1. In that day there shall be one יהוה, and His Name one. Footnote: 1Isa. 24:23, Dan. 2:44, Rev. 11:15. (Zec 14:10) All the land shall be changed into a desert plain from Geḇa to Rimmon south of Yerushalayim, and she shall be raised up and inhabited in her place from Binyamin’s Gate to the place of the First Gate and the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Ḥanan’ĕl to the winepresses of the sovereign. (Zec 14:11) And they shall dwell in her, and there shall be no more utter destruction1, but Yerushalayim shall be safely inhabited. Footnote: 1Mal. 4:6. (Zec 14:12) And this is the plague with which יהוה plagues all the people who fought against Yerushalayim: their flesh shall decay while they stand on their feet, and their eyes decay in their sockets, and their tongues decay in their mouths. (Zec 14:13) And it shall be in that day that a great confusion from יהוה is among them, and every one of them shall seize the hand of his neighbor, and his hand rise up against his neighbor’s hand. (Zec 14:14) And Yehuḏah shall fight at Yerushalayim as well. And the wealth of all the gentiles round about shall be gathered together: gold, and silver, and garments in great quantities. (Zec 14:15) So also is the plague on the horse and the mule, on the camel and the donkey, and on all the cattle that are in those camps – as this plague. (Zec 14:16) And it shall be that all who are left from all the gentiles which came up against Yerushalayim, shall go up from year to year to bow themselves to the Sovereign, יהוה of hosts, and to observe the Festival of Booths.

My dear friend Gilbert Vincent has a tee shirt made about this: Keep the Feasts- OR Be a Feast! (Come birds of the air and eat etc)

(Zec 14:17) And it shall be that if anyone of the clans of the earth does not come up to Yerushalayim to bow himself to the sovereign, יהוה of hosts, on them there is to be no rain. (Zec 14:18) And if the clan of Mitsrayim does not come up and enter in, then there is no rain. On them is the plague with which יהוה plagues the gentiles who do not come up to observe the Festival of Booths. (Zec 14:19) This is the punishment of Mitsrayim and the punishment of all the gentiles that do not come up to observe the Festival of Booths. (Zec 14:20) In that day “SET-APART TO יהוה” shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. And the pots in the House of יהוה shall be like the bowls before the altar. (Zec 14:21) And every pot in Yerushalayim and Yehuḏah shall be set-apart to יהוה of hosts. And all those who slaughter shall come and take them and cook in them. And there shall no longer be a merchant in the House of יהוה of hosts, in that day.

He will indeed dwell with us! See!

(Rev 21:1) And I saw a renewed heaven and a renewed earth, for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. (Rev 21:2) And I, Yoḥanan, saw the set-apart city, renewed Yerushalayim, coming down out of the heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (Rev 21:3) And I heard a loud voice from the heaven saying, “See, the Booth of Elohim is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and Elohim Himself shall be with them and be their Elohim. (Rev 21:4) “And Elohim shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away.” (Rev 21:5) And He who was sitting on the throne said, “See I make all matters new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and trustworthy.” (Rev 21:6) And He said to me, “It is done! I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I shall give of the fountain of the water of life without payment. (Rev 21:7) “The one who overcomes shall inherit all this, and I shall be his Elohim and he shall be my son. (Rev 21:8) “But as for the cowardly (fearful), and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”

Here’s why we must clean up now as you have read! Jacob’s Trouble- just ahead!

(Joe 1:1) Here is the word of יהוה that came to Yo’ĕl son of Pethu’ĕl. (Joe 1:2) Hear this, you elders, and give ear, all you inhabitants of the land! Has this ever been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers? (Joe 1:3) Relate it to your children, and your children to their children, and their children to the generation after them. (Joe 1:4) What the gnawing locust left the swarming locust has eaten, and what the swarming locust left the crawling locust has eaten, and what the crawling locust left the consuming locust has eaten. (Joe 1:5) Wake up, you drunkards, and weep. And wail, all you drinkers of wine, on account of the new wine, for it has been cut off from your mouth. (Joe 1:6) For a nation has come up against my land, strong, and innumerable. Its teeth are the teeth of a lion, and it has the fangs of a lioness. (Joe 1:7) It has laid waste my vine and splintered my fig tree. It has made it entirely bare and cast it away, its branches became white. (Joe 1:8) Wail like a maiden girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth. (Joe 1:9) The grain offering and the drink offering have been cut off from the House of יהוה. The priests, servants of יהוה, have mourned. (Joe 1:10) The field is ravaged, the ground has mourned, for the grain is ruined, the new wine has dried up, the oil fails. (Joe 1:11) The farmers are ashamed the vinedressers wail over the wheat and over the barley, for the harvest of the field is destroyed. (Joe 1:12) The vine has dried up, and the fig tree droops, pomegranate, also palm, and apple tree, all the trees of the field are dried up, because joy has dried up among the sons of men. (Joe 1:13) Gird yourselves and lament, you priests. Wail you attendants of the altar. Come lie all night in sackcloth, you attendants of my Elohim. For the grain offering and the drink offering are withheld from the house of your Elohim. (Joe 1:14) Set apart a fast. Call an assembly, gather the elders, all the inhabitants of the land, into the House of יהוה your Elohim, and cry out to יהוה.

The DAY is at hand!

(Joe 1:15) Alas for the day! The Day of יהוה is near and it comes as destruction from the Almighty. (Joe 1:16) Is not the food cut off before our eyes, joy and gladness from the House of our Elohim? (Joe 1:17) The seed has rotted under their clods, storehouses are laid waste, granaries are broken down, for the grain has withered. (Joe 1:18) How the beasts moan! The herds of cattle are restless, because they have no pasture. The flocks of sheep also perish. (Joe 1:19) I cry to you יהוה, for fire has consumed the pastures of the wilderness, and a flame has set on fire all the trees of the field. (Joe 1:20) Even the beasts of the field cry out to you, for the water streams are dried up, and fire has consumed the pastures of the wilderness.

Sound the Shofar- Blow the Trumpet! Warn the loved ones to repent!

(Joe 2:1) Blow a ram’s horn in Tsiyon, and sound an alarm in my set-apart mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the earth tremble, for the day of יהוה is coming, for it is near: (Joe 2:2) a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains – a people many and strong, the like of whom has never been, nor shall there ever be again after them, to the years of many generations. (Joe 2:3) Ahead of them a fire has consumed, and behind them a flame burns. Before them the land is like the Garden of Ěḏen, and behind them a desert waste. And from them there is no escape. (Joe 2:4) Their appearance is like the appearance of horses, and they run like steeds. (Joe 2:5) As the noise of chariots they leap over mountaintops, as the noise of a flaming fire consuming stubble, as a mighty people set in battle array. (Joe 2:6) Before them peoples are in anguish, all faces become flushed. (Joe 2:7) They run like mighty men, they climb the wall like men of battle, everyone goes on his way, and they do not break ranks. (Joe 2:8) And they do not press one another- everyone goes in his path. They fall among the weapons, but they do not stop. (Joe 2:9) They rush on the city, they run on the wall. They climb into the houses they enter at the windows like a thief. (Joe 2:10) The earth shall tremble before them, the heavens shall shake. Sun and moon shall be darkened, and the stars withdraw their brightness. (Joe 2:11) And יהוה shall give forth His voice before His army, for His camp is very great, for mighty is the doer of His word.

REPENT!

For the Day of יהוה is great and very awesome, and who does bear it? (Joe 2:12) “Yet even now,” declares יהוה, “turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.(Joe 2:13) And tear your heart and not your garments, and turn back to יהוה your Elohim, for He shows favor and is compassionate, patient, and of great kindness, and He shall relent concerning the evil. (Joe 2:14) Who knows – He might turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind Him, a grain offering and a drink offering for יהוה your Elohim? (Joe 2:15) Blow a ram’s horn in Tsiyon, set apart a fast, and call an assembly. (Joe 2:16) Gather the people, set the assembly apart, assemble the elders, and gather the children and nursing babes. Let a bridegroom come out from his room, and a bride from her dressing room. (Joe 2:17) Let the priests, servants of יהוה, weep between the porch and the altar. And let them say, “Spare your people, O יהוה, and do not give your inheritance to reproach, for the gentiles to rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their Elohim?’ ” (Joe 2:18) And let יהוה be jealous for His land, and spare His people. (Joe 2:19) And let יהוה answer and say to His people, “See, I am sending you the grain and the new wine and the oil, and you shall be satisfied by them. And no longer do I make you a reproach among the gentiles. (Joe 2:20) “And the Northerner I shall remove far from you, and drive him away into a dry and deserted land, with his face toward the eastern sea and his rear toward the western sea. And his stench shall come up and his smell rise, for he has done greatly.” (Joe 2:21) Do not fear O soil, be glad and rejoice, for יהוה has done greatly! (Joe 2:22) Do not fear, you beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness shall spring forth, and the tree shall bear its fruit, the fig tree and the vine shall yield their strength. (Joe 2:23) And you children of Tsiyon, be glad and rejoice in יהוה your Elohim, for He shall give you the Teacher of Righteousness, and cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain, as before. (Joe 2:24) And the threshing-floors shall be filled with grain, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. (Joe 2:25) “Then I shall repay you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, and the consuming locust, and the gnawing locust, my great army which I sent among you. (Joe 2:26) “Then you shall eat – eat and be satisfied – and shall praise the Name of יהוה your Elohim, who has done with you so wondrously. And my people shall never be put to shame. (Joe 2:27) “And you shall know that I am in the midst of Yisra’ĕl1, and that I am יהוה your Elohim and there is no one else. And my people shall never be put to shame. Footnote: 1See Isa. 24:23. (Joe 2:28) “And after this it shall be that I pour out my Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men dream dreams, your young men see visions. (Joe 2:29) “And also on the male servants and on the female servants I shall pour out my Spirit in those days. (Joe 2:30) “And I shall give signs in the heavens and upon the earth: blood and fire and columns of smoke, (Joe 2:31) the sun is turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of יהוה. (Joe 2:32) “And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of יהוה shall be delivered1. On Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim there shall be an escape2 as יהוה has said, and among the survivors whom יהוה calls. Footnotes: 1Acts 2:21, Rom. 10:13. 2Isa. 4:2-3, Obad. v. 17, Rev. 14:1.

They will scatter us, be He will gather us and yes; they soon part His land in a divide Jerusalem “peace” deal! Get ready for earthquakes and the Great Lakes dividing our land USA!

(Joe 3:1) “For look, in those days and at that time, when I turn back the captivity of Yehuḏah and Yerushalayim, (Joe 3:2) then I shall gather all gentiles, and bring them down to the Valley of Yehoshaphat. And I shall enter into judgment with them there for my people, my inheritance Yisra’ĕl, whom they have scattered among the gentiles, and they have divided up my land. (Joe 3:3) “And they have cast lots for my people, and have given a young man for a whore, and sold a girl for wine, and drank it. (Joe 3:4) “And also, what are you to me, O Tsor and Tsiḏon, and all the coasts of Philistia? Are you repaying me? And if you are repaying me, I would swiftly and speedily return your reward on your own head. (Joe 3:5) “For you have taken my silver and my gold, and brought my treasures into your temples, (Joe 3:6) and the people of Yehuḏah and the people of Yerushalayim you have sold to the sons of Yawan, to remove them far from their borders. (Joe 3:7) “See, I am stirring them up out of the place to which you have sold them, and I shall return on your own head what you have done, (Joe 3:8) and shall sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the people of Yehuḏah, and they shall sell them to the Sheḇaites, to a nation far off. For יהוה has spoken.” (Joe 3:9) Proclaim this among the gentiles, “Prepare for battle! Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of battle draw near, let them come up. (Joe 3:10) “Beat your ploughshares into swords and your pruning-hooks into spears let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ ” (Joe 3:11) Hasten and come, all you gentiles, and gather together all around. O יהוה let your mighty men come down here. (Joe 3:12) “Let the gentiles be aroused, and come up to the Valley of Yehoshaphat. For there I shall sit to judge all the gentiles on every side. (Joe 3:13) “Put in the sickle, for the harvest has grown ripe. Come, go down, for the winepress is filled, the vats overflow, for their evil is great.” (Joe 3:14) Crowds (Multitudes), crowds in the valley of decision! For the day of יהוה is near in the valley of decision. (Joe 3:15) Sun and moon shall become dark, and stars shall withdraw their brightness. (Joe 3:16) And יהוה shall roar from Tsiyon, and give forth His voice from Yerushalayim. And the heavens and earth shall shake, but יהוה shall be a refuge for His people, and a stronghold for the children of Yisra’ĕl. (Joe 3:17) “Then you shall know that I am יהוה your Elohim, dwelling in Tsiyon, my set-apart mountain1. And Yerushalayim shall be set-apart, and foreigners shall not pass through her again. Footnote: 1See v. 21 and Isa. 24:23. (Joe 3:18) “And it shall be in that day that the mountains drip with new wine, and the hills flow with milk. And all the streams of Yehuḏah shall be flooded with water, and a fountain flow from the House of יהוה and water the wadi Shittim. (Joe 3:19) “Mitsrayim shall become a ruin, and Eḏom a ruin, a wilderness, because of violence done to the people of Yehuḏah, whose innocent blood they shed in their land. (Joe 3:20) “But Yehuḏah shall dwell forever and Yerushalayim to all generations. (Joe 3:21) “And I shall avenge their blood, which I have not avenged. And יהוה shall be dwelling in Tsiyon!”
