Shabbat Shalom Loved One!

I hope you are one that got blessed by keeping YHWH’s command in celebrating His Sukkot or appointed Times and Seasons He set aside to fellowship (Tabernacle) with His people. This Feast or in Hebrew Moedim, which means, rehearsal of things to come, started at sundown, Sunday October 4th and ended at the end of the “Last Great Day”, sundown Monday eight days later. Are these seasons or appointed times important for you and I today? I suspect that they are our only way of being sober and alert in the last days. Here’s why as we look at the Scriptures:

(1Th 4:13) But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. (1Th 4:14) For if we believe that Yahshua (Jesus) died and rose again, even so them also which sleep (die) in Yahshua (Jesus); will YHWH bring with him. (1Th 4:15) For this we say unto you by the word of YHWH, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of Yahshua (Comment: not all of us will be alive and remain at His coming!) shall not prevent them which are asleep. (1Th 4:16) For Yahshua himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of YHWH: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first: (1Th 4:17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet Yahshua in the air: and so shall we ever be with Yahshua. (1Th 4:18) Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

(1Th 5:1) But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. (Comment: these times and seasons are the Moedim or appointed Feasts of YHWH, they are designed to help us understand His appointed times so that we will be not be overtaken and surprised and of they that shall not escape!)

(1Th 5:2) For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. (1Th 5:3) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (1Th 5:4) But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. (1Th 5:5) Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. (1Th 5:6) Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. (1Th 5:7) For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. (1Th 5:8) But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.

(1Th 5:9) For YHWH has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Master Yahshua Messiah, (1Th 5:10) Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. (1Th 5:11) Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also you do.

These appointed times and seasons have us now starting our annual Torah “cycle” study over having finished the Fall Feasts of YHWH (Comment: cycle is the word for path in Hebrew, i.e. (Psalms 119:105) Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.)

Why do we study in “cycles” or go over and over the same scriptures every year? Our answer is found many places but here is one: We learn and receive truth by HEARING AND HEARING!

(Hebrews 11:1) now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Rom 10:17) So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of YHWH. (Rom 10:18) I say, have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. (Rom 10:19) I say, did not Israel know? First Moses says I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you. (Rom 10:20) But Isaiah is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me. (Rom 10:21) But to Israel he says, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

We now take a fresh look at the Cycles of Scripture as our hearts receive fresh revelation and understanding from hearing and hearing His word.

Here are our Torah Scriptures for this week:

B’resheet (Genesis) “In the Beginning”

Genesis 1:1-6:8

Isaiah 42:5-43:21

Matthew, Chapters 1, 2, and 3

(Gen 1:1) In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth. (Gen 1:2) And the earth came to be1 formless and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim was moving on the face of the waters. Footnote: 1Or the earth became.

Note the day starts in the evening- not as Pope Gregory made up at midnight!

(Gen 1:3) And Elohim said, “Let light come to be,” and light came to be. (Gen 1:4) And Elohim saw the light, that it was good. And Elohim separated the light from the darkness. (Gen 1:5) And Elohim called the light ‘day’ and the darkness He called ‘night.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the first day. (Gen 1:6) And Elohim said, “Let an expanse come to be in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” (Gen 1:7) And Elohim made the expanse, and separated the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse. And it came to be so. (Gen 1:8) And Elohim called the expanse ‘heavens.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the second day.

(Gen 1:9) And Elohim said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it came to be so. (Gen 1:10) And Elohim called the dry land ‘earth,’ and the collection of the waters He called ‘seas.’ And Elohim saw that it was good. (Gen 1:11) And Elohim said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the plant that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth.” And it came to be so. (Gen 1:12) And the earth brought forth grass, the plant that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good. (Gen 1:13) And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the third day.

(Gen 1:14) And Elohim said, “Let lights come to be in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and appointed times, and for days and years, (Gen 1:15) and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth.” And it came to be so. (Gen 1:16) And Elohim made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night, and the stars. (Gen 1:17) And Elohim set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, (Gen 1:18) and to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good.

(Gen 1:19) And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the fourth day. (Gen 1:20) And Elohim said, “Let the waters teem with shoals of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth on the face of the expanse of the heavens.” (Gen 1:21) And Elohim created great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters teemed, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good. (Gen 1:22) And Elohim blessed them, saying, “Bear fruit and increase, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” (Gen 1:23) And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the fifth day. (Gen 1:24) And Elohim said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: livestock and creeping creatures and beasts of the earth, according to its kind.” And it came to be so. (Gen 1:25) And Elohim made the beast of the earth according to its kind, livestock according to its kind, and all that creep on the earth according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good.

Note that we are made Elohim’s (Elohim is plural for YHWH and Yahshua) image!

(Gen 1:26) And Elohim said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the livestock, and over all the earth and over all the creeping creatures that creep on the earth.”

Note we are male and female –MAN- made in His image!

(Gen 1:27) And Elohim created the man in His image, in the image of Elohim He created him – male and female He created them. (Gen 1:28) And Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said to them, “Bear fruit and increase, and fill the earth and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over all creatures moving on the earth.” (Gen 1:29) And Elohim said, “See, I have given you every plant that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed, to you it is for food. (Gen 1:30) “And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the heavens, and to every creeping creature on the earth, in which there is life, every green plant is for food.” And it came to be so. (Gen 1:31) And Elohim saw all that He had made, and see, it was very good. And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the sixth day.

Sabbath hallowed (set apart) here!

(Gen 2:1) Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and their entire array. (Gen 2:2) And on the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. (Gen 2:3) And Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which Elohim in creating had made. (Gen 2:4) These are the births of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that יהוה Elohim made earth and heavens. (Gen 2:5) Now no shrub of the field was yet on the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for יהוה Elohim had not sent rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground, (Gen 2:6) but a mist went up from the earth and watered the entire surface of the ground. (Gen 2:7) And יהוה Elohim formed the man out of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils breath of life. And the man became a living being.

(Gen 2:8) And יהוה Elohim planted a garden in Ěḏen, to the east, and there He put the man whom He had formed. (Gen 2:9) And out of the ground יהוה Elohim made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, with the tree of life in the midst of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (Gen 2:10) And a river went out of Ěḏen to water the garden, and from there it divided and became four riverheads. (Gen 2:11) The name of the first is Pishon, it is the one surrounding the entire land of Ḥawilah, where there is gold. (Gen 2:12) And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium is there, and the shoham stone. (Gen 2:13) And the name of the second river is Giḥon, it is the one surrounding the entire land of Kush. (Gen 2:14) And the name of the third river is Ḥiddeqel, it is the one which goes toward the east of Ashshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates. (Gen 2:15) And יהוה Elohim took the man and put him in the garden of Ěḏen to work it and to guard it.

The command that hasatan twisted like a candle wick-(wicked)

(Gen 2:16) And יהוה Elohim commanded the man, saying, “Eat of every tree of the garden, (Gen 2:17) but do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day that you eat of it you shall certainly die.” (Gen 2:18) And יהוה Elohim said, “It is not good for the man to be alone, I am going to make a helper for him, as his counterpart.” (Gen 2:19) And from the ground יהוה Elohim formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called each living creature that was its name. (Gen 2:20) So the man gave names to all livestock, and to the birds of the heavens, and to every beast of the field. But for the man there was not found a helper for him, as his counterpart. (Gen 2:21) So יהוה Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. (Gen 2:22) And the rib which יהוה Elohim had taken from the man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. (Gen 2:23) And the man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one is called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of man.”

This still applies for those who think the LAW (Torah) is done away with! It is about marriage- wedding of the Lamb!

(Gen 2:24) For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. (Gen 2:25) And they were both naked, the man and his wife, yet they were not ashamed.

Be sober and alert-Snake’s coming- twists the command

(Gen 3:1) And the serpent was craftier than any beast of the field which יהוה Elohim had made, and he said to the woman, “Is it true that Elohim has said, ‘Do not eat of every tree of the garden’?” (Gen 3:2) And the woman said to the serpent, “We are to eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden, (Gen 3:3) but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, Elohim has said, ‘Do not eat of it, nor touch it, lest you die.’ ” (Gen 3:4) And the serpent said to the woman, “You shall certainly not die. (Gen 3:5) “For Elohim knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be like Elohim, knowing good and evil.” (Gen 3:6) And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, and she took of its fruit and ate. And she also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. (Gen 3:7) Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made loin coverings for themselves.

When we transgress the LAW (Torah-Instructions) and sin- we are con-demned (with-damnation) and must hide ourselves as we become fearful! Be sure- our sin will find us out!

(Gen 3:8) And they heard the sound of יהוה Elohim walking about in the garden in the cool of the day, and Aḏam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of יהוה Elohim among the trees of the garden. (Gen 3:9) And יהוה Elohim called unto Aḏam and said to him, “Where are you?” (Gen 3:10) And he said, “I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid myself.” (Gen 3:11) And He said, “Who made you know that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?” (Gen 3:12) And the man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree and I ate.”

Pointing the finger- Isaiah 58 warns against this! Judgment-

(Gen 3:13) And יהוה Elohim said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”(Gen 3:14) And יהוה Elohim said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all livestock and more than every beast of the field. On your belly you are to go, and eat dust all the days of your life. (Gen 3:15) “And I put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed1. He shall crush your head, and you shall crush His heel.” Footnote: 1First promise of the Messiah. (Gen 3:16) To the woman He said, “I greatly increase your sorrow and your conception – bring forth children in pain. And your desire is for your husband, and he does rule over you.” (Gen 3:17) And to the man He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘Do not eat of it’: “Cursed is the ground because of you, in toil you are to eat of it all the days of your life, (Gen 3:18) and the ground shall bring forth thorns and thistles for you, and you shall eat the plants of the field. (Gen 3:19) “By the sweat of your face you are to eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are, and to dust you return.” (Gen 3:20) And the man called his wife’s name Ḥawwah, because she became the mother of all living. (Gen 3:21) And יהוה Elohim made coats of skin for the man and his wife and dressed them. (Gen 3:22) And יהוה Elohim said, “See, the man has become like one of us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever...” (Gen 3:23) so יהוה Elohim sent him out of the garden of Ěḏen to till the ground from which he was taken, (Gen 3:24) and He drove the man out. And He placed keruḇim at the east of the garden of Ěḏen, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Snake’s attack against first born promise! (Gen 4:1) And Aḏam knew Ḥawwah his wife, and she conceived and bore Qayin, and said, “I have gained a man from יהוה.” (Gen 4:2) And again, she gave birth to his brother Heḇel. And Heḇel became a keeper of sheep, but Qayin became a tiller of the ground. (Gen 4:3) And it came to be, in the course of time, that Qayin brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to יהוה. (Gen 4:4) And Heḇel also brought of the first-born of his flock and of their fat. And יהוה looked to Heḇel and his offering, (Gen 4:5) but He did not look to Qayin and his offering. And Qayin was very wroth, and his face fell. (Gen 4:6) And יהוה said to Qayin, “Why are you wroth? And why is your face fallen? (Gen 4:7) “If you do well, is there not acceptance? And if you do not do well, sin1 is crouching at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should master it.” Footnote: 1Sin (transgression of the law) was already then known, as we also read in 39:9. (Gen 4:8) And Qayin told Heḇel his brother. And it came to be when they were in the field, that Qayin rose up against Heḇel his brother and killed him. (Gen 4:9) And יהוה said to Qayin, “Where is Heḇel your brother?” And he said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s guard?”

Once again- our sin will find us out! We should repent quickly!

(Num 32:23) "But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against YHWH, and be sure your sin will find you out. Note: blood speaks!

(Gen 4:10) And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. (Gen 4:11) “And now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. (Gen 4:12) “If you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth.” (Gen 4:13) And Qayin said to יהוה, “My punishment is too great to bear! (Gen 4:14) “See, You have driven me from the face of the ground today, and I am hidden from Your face. I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth, and it shall be that anyone who finds me kills me.” (Gen 4:15) And יהוה said to him, “Well, if anyone kills Qayin, vengeance is taken on him sevenfold.” And יהוה set up a sign for Qayin, lest anyone finding him kills him. (Gen 4:16) So Qayin went out from the presence of יהוה and dwelt in the land of Noḏ on the east of Ěḏen. (Gen 4:17) And Qayin knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Ḥanoḵ. And he built a city, and called the name of the city after the name of his son, Ḥanoḵ. (Gen 4:18) And to Ḥanoḵ was born Iraḏ. And Iraḏ brought forth Meḥuya’ĕl, and Meḥuya’ĕl brought forth Methusa’ĕl, and Methusa’ĕl brought forth Lemeḵ. (Gen 4:19) And Lemeḵ took for himself two wives, the name of one was Aḏah, and the name of the second was Tsillah. (Gen 4:20) And Aḏah bore Yaḇal. He was the father of those who dwell in tents, with livestock. (Gen 4:21) And

his brother’s name was Yuḇal. He was the father of all those who play the lyre and flute. (Gen 4:22) As for Tsillah, she also bore Tuḇal-Qayin, a smith of all kinds of tools in bronze and iron. And the sister of Tuḇal-Qayin was Naʽamah. (Gen 4:23) And Lemeḵ said to his wives, “Aḏah and Tsillah hear my voice! Wives of Lemeḵ, listen to my words! For I have killed a man for wounding me, even a young man for hurting me. (Gen 4:24) “Qayin is avenged sevenfold, and Lemeḵ seventy-sevenfold.” (Gen 4:25) And Aḏam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and called his name Shĕth, “For Elohim has appointed me another seed instead of Heḇel, because Qayin had slain him.”

(Gen 4:26) And to Shĕth, to him also a son was born. And he called his name Enosh. Then it was begun to call on the Name of יהוה1. Footnote: 1The first record of “calling on the Name of יהוה” (Gen 5:1) This is the book of the genealogy of Aḏam. In the day that Elohim created man, He made him in the likeness of Elohim.

(Gen 5:2) Male and female He created them, and He blessed them, and called their name ‘Aḏam’ (MAN) in the day they were created.

(Comment: man and man with womb-woman)

(Gen 5:3) And Aḏam lived one hundred and thirty years, and brought forth a son in his own likeness, after his image, and called his name Shĕth. (Gen 5:4) And after he brought forth Shĕth, the days of Aḏam were eight hundred years. And he brought forth sons and daughters. (Gen 5:5) So all the days that Aḏam lived were nine hundred and thirty years, and he died.

(Gen 5:6) And Shĕth lived one hundred and five years, and brought forth Enosh. (Gen 5:7) And after he brought forth Enosh, Shĕth lived eight hundred and seven years, and brought forth sons and daughters. (Gen 5:8) So all the days of Shĕth were nine hundred and twelve years, and he died. (Gen 5:9) And Enosh lived ninety years, and brought forth Qĕynan. (Gen 5:10) And after he brought forth Qĕynan, Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and brought forth sons and daughters. (Gen 5:11) So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, and he died. (Gen 5:12) And Qĕynan lived seventy years, and brought forth Mahalal’ĕl. (Gen 5:13) After he brought forth Mahalal’ĕl; Qĕynan lived eight hundred and forty years, and brought forth sons and daughters. (Gen 5:14) So all the days of Qĕynan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died. (Gen 5:15) And Mahalal’ĕl lived sixty-five years, and brought forth Yereḏ. (Gen 5:16) And after he brought forth Yereḏ, Mahalal’ĕl lived eight hundred and thirty years, and brought forth sons and daughters. (Gen 5:17) So all the days of Mahalal’ĕl were eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he died. (Gen 5:18) And Yereḏ lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and brought forth Ḥanoḵ. (Gen 5:19) And after he brought forth Ḥanoḵ, Yereḏ lived eight hundred years, and brought forth sons and daughters. (Gen 5:20) So all the days of Yereḏ were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he died. (Gen 5:21) And Ḥanoḵ lived sixty-five years, and brought forth Methushelaḥ. (Gen 5:22) And after he brought forth Methushelaḥ, Ḥanoḵ walked with Elohim three hundred years, and brought forth sons and daughters. (Gen 5:23) All the days of Ḥanoḵ were three hundred and sixty-five years. (Gen 5:24) And Ḥanoḵ walked with Elohim. Then he was no more, for Elohim took him. (Gen 5:25) And Methushelaḥ lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and brought forth Lemeḵ. (Gen 5:26) And after he brought forth Lemeḵ, Methushelaḥ lived seven hundred and eighty-two years, and brought forth sons and daughters. (Gen 5:27) So all the days of Methushelaḥ were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.

Noah comes forth. Brad Scott has an interesting study about the first 10 names mean salvation in Hebrew!

(Gen 5:28) And Lemeḵ lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and brought forth a son, (Gen 5:29) and called his name Noaḥ, saying, “This one does comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground which יהוה has cursed.” (Gen 5:30) And after he brought forth Noaḥ, Lemeḵ lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and brought forth sons and daughters. (Gen 5:31) So all the days of Lemeḵ were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and he died. (Gen 5:32) And Noaḥ was five hundred years old, and Noaḥ brought forth Shĕm, Ḥam, and Yepheth. (Gen 6:1) And it came to be, when men began to increase on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, (Gen 6:2) that the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men, that they were good. And they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. (Gen 6:3) And יהוה said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever in his going astray. He is flesh, and his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” (Gen 6:4) The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of Elohim came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, the men of name. (Gen 6:5) And יהוה saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Gen 6:6) And יהוה was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. (Gen 6:7) And יהוה said, “I am going to wipe off man whom I have created from the face of the earth, man and beast, creeping creature and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.” (Gen 6:8) But Noaḥ found favor in the eyes of יהוה. (This is favor is grace?-not a new thing with the reNEWed Covenant!)

(Isa 42:5) Thus said the Ěl, יהוה, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to those who walk on it: (Isa 42:6) “I, יהוה, have called You in righteousness, and I take hold of Your hand and guard You, and give You for a covenant to a people, for a light to the gentiles, (Isa 42:7) to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house. (Isa 42:8) “I am יהוהYHWH, that is My Name, and my esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols. (Isa 42:9) “See, the former predictions have come, and new ones I am declaring; before they spring forth I let you hear them.” (Isa 42:10) Sing to יהוה a new song; His praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you coastlands and you inhabitants of them! (Isa 42:11) Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, the villages where Qĕḏar dwells. Let the inhabitants of Selah sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. (Isa 42:12) Let them give esteem to יהוה, and declare His praise in the coastlands. (Isa 42:13)YHWH יהוה goes forth like a mighty man. He stirs up ardor like a fighter. He cries out, yea, shout aloud. Over His enemies He shows Himself mighty. (Isa 42:14) “I have kept silent from of old, I have been still and held myself back. Like a woman in labor I now cry out, I pant and gasp at once. (Isa 42:15) “I lay waste mountains and hills, and I dry up all their plants. And I shall make rivers become coastlands, and I dry up pools. (Isa 42:16) “And I shall lead the blind by a way they have not known – in paths they have not known I lead them. I make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These matters I shall do for them, and I shall not forsake them. (Isa 42:17) “Those who trust in idols, who say to the molded images, ‘You are our mighty ones,’ shall be turned back, utterly ashamed.

(Isa 42:18) “Hear, you deaf! And look, you blind, and see.

(Isa 42:19) “Who is blind but my servant, or deaf as my messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is at peace, and blind as servant of יהוה? (Isa 42:20) “You see much, but do not observe; ears are open, but do not hear.” (Isa 42:21) It has delighted יהוה, for the sake of His righteousness, to make the Torah great and esteemed. (Isa 42:22) But this is a people robbed and plundered, all of them are snared in holes, and they are hidden in prison houses. They have become a prey, with no one to deliver – for plunder, and no one to say, “Restore!”

(Isa 42:23) Who among you gives ear to this, pays attention and hears for the time to come? (Isa 42:24) Who gave Yaʽaqoḇ for plunder, and Yisra’ĕl to the robbers? Was it not יהוה, He against whom we sinned? For they would not walk in His ways, and they did not obey His Torah! (Isa 42:25) So He has poured on him His burning displeasure and the strength of battle, and it set him on fire all around, yet he did not understand. And it burned against him, yet he did not take it to heart! (Isa 43:1) But now, thus said יהוה, your Creator, O Yaʽaqoḇ, and He who formed you, O Yisra’ĕl, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name, you are mine. (Isa 43:2) “When you pass through the waters, I am with you; and through rivers, they do not overflow you. When you walk through fire, you are not scorched, and a flame does not burn you.

(Isa 43:3) “For I am יהוה your Elohim, the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl, your Savior; I gave Mitsrayim for your ransom, Kush and Sheḇa in your place. (Isa 43:4) “Since you were precious in My eyes, you have been esteemed, and I have loved you. And I give men in your place, and peoples for your life. (Isa 43:5) “Do not fear, for I am with you. I shall bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west.

(Isa 43:6) “I shall say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth – (Isa 43:7) all those who are called by My Name, whom I have created, formed, even made for My esteem.” (Isa 43:8) He shall bring out a blind people who have eyes, and deaf ones who have ears. (Isa 43:9) All the nations shall be assembled, and the peoples be gathered. Who among them declares this, and show us former events? Let them give their witnesses, to be declared right; or let them hear and say, “It is truth.”

Here we are- His witnesses!

(Isa 43:10) “You are my witnesses,” declares יהוה, “And My servant whom I have chosen, so that you know and believe me, and understand that I am He. Before me there was no Ěl formed, nor after me there is none. (Isa 43:11) “I, I am יהוה, and besides me there is no savior. (Isa 43:12) “I, I have declared and saved, and made known, and there was no foreign mighty one among you. And you are my witnesses,” declares יהוה, “that I am Ěl. (Isa 43:13) “Even from the day I am He, and no one delivers out of My hand. I work, and who turns it back?” (Isa 43:14) Thus said יהוה, your Redeemer, the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl, “For your sake I shall send to Baḇel, and bring them all down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, who rejoice in their ships. (Isa 43:15) “I am יהוה, your Set-apart One, Creator of Yisra’ĕl, your Sovereign.” (Isa 43:16) Thus said יהוה, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters, (Isa 43:17) who brings forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power (they lie down together, they do not rise, they have been extinguished, they have been quenched like a wick): (Isa 43:18) “Do not remember the former events, nor consider the events of old. (Isa 43:19) “See, I am doing what is new, let it now spring forth. Do you not know it? I am even making a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Isa 43:20) “The beast of the field esteems Me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I have given waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen, (Isa 43:21) this people I have formed for myself, let them relate My praise.

Beginnings of the record of Yahshua

(Mat 1:1) The record of the genealogy of Yahshua the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham: (Mat 1:2) Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers. (Mat 1:3) Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez was the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram. (Mat 1:4) Ram was the father of Amminadab, Amminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon. (Mat 1:5) Salmon was the father of Boaz by Rahab; Boaz was the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse.

(Mat 1:6) Jesse was the father of David the king. David was the father of Solomon by Bathsheba who had been the wife of Uriah. (Mat 1:7) Solomon was the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, and Abijah the father of Asa. (Mat 1:8) Asa was the father of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzziah. (Mat 1:9) Uzziah was the father of Jotham, Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah. (Mat 1:10) Hezekiah was the father of Manasseh, Manasseh the father of Amon, and Amon the father of Josiah. (Mat 1:11) Josiah became the father of Jeconiah and his brothers, at the time of the deportation to Babylon. (Mat 1:12) After the deportation to Babylon: Jeconiah became the father of Shealtiel, and Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel. (Mat 1:13) Zerubbabel was the father of Abihud, Abihud the father of Eliakim, and Eliakim the father of Azor. (Mat 1:14) Azor was the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Achim, and Achim the father of Eliud. (Mat 1:15) Eliud was the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, and Matthan the father of Jacob.

(Mat 1:16) Jacob was the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, by whom Yahshua (Jesus) was born, who is called the Messiah. (Mat 1:17) All the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; from David to the deportation to Babylon, fourteen generations; and from the deportation to Babylon to the Messiah, fourteen generations. (Comment: note: 3 sets of 14 generations=42-just like the 42 months of Great Tribulation ahead!)

(Mat 1:18) Now the birth of Yahshua of Nazareth was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit. (Mat 1:19) And Joseph her husband, being a righteous man and not wanting to disgrace her, planned to send her away secretly. (Mat 1:20) But when he had considered this, behold, an angel of YHWH appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

(Mat 1:21) "She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Yahshua, for He will save His people from their sins." (Mat 1:22) Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: (Mat 1:23) "BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL," which translated means, "YHWH WITH US." (Mat 1:24) And Joseph awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took Mary as his wife, (Mat 1:25) but kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Yahshua. (Mat 2:1) Now after Yahshua was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, (Mat 2:2) "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him." (Comment: the reason Moses told Pharaoh to set us free was that we may come and worship Him-the King! This is why the wise men came- and that is why if we are wise, we will come and worship Him also- we have been set free to WORSHIP HIM!)

(Mat 2:3) When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. (Mat 2:4) Gathering together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Messiah was to be born. (Mat 2:5) They said to him, "In Bethlehem of Judea; for this is what has been written by the prophet: (Mat 2:6) 'AND YOU, BETHLEHEM, LAND OF JUDAH, ARE BY NO MEANS LEAST AMONG THE LEADERS OF JUDAH; FOR OUT OF YOU SHALL COME FORTH A RULER WHO WILL SHEPHERD MY PEOPLE ISRAEL.'" (Mat 2:7) Then Herod secretly called the magi and determined from them the exact time the star appeared. (Mat 2:8) And he sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and search carefully for the Child; and when you have found Him, report to me, so that I too may come and worship Him." (Mat 2:9) After hearing the king, they went their way; and the star, which they had seen in the east, went on before them until it came and stood over the place where the Child was.

(Mat 2:10) When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. (Mat 2:11) After coming into the house they saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell to the ground and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

(Mat 2:12) And having been warned by YHWH in a dream not to return to Herod, the magi left for their own country by another way. (Mat 2:13) Now when they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord *appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, "Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to destroy Him." (Mat 2:14) So Joseph got up and took the Child and His mother while it was still night, and left for Egypt. (Mat 2:15) He remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what had been spoken by YHWH through the prophet: "OUT OF EGYPT I CALLED MY SON." (Mat 2:16) Then when Herod saw that he had been tricked by the magi, he became very enraged, and sent and slew all the male children who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the magi. (Mat 2:17) Then what had been spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: (Mat 2:18) "A VOICE WAS HEARD IN RAMAH, WEEPING AND GREAT MOURNING, RACHEL WEEPING FOR HER CHILDREN; AND SHE REFUSED TO BE COMFORTED, BECAUSE THEY WERE NO MORE." (Mat 2:19) But when Herod died, behold, an angel of YHWH *appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, and said, (Mat 2:20) "Get up and take the Child and His mother, and go into the land of Israel; for those who sought the Child's life are dead." (Mat 2:21) So Joseph got up, took the Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel. (Mat 2:22) But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. Then after being warned by YHWH in a dream, he left for the regions of Galilee, (Mat 2:23) and came and lived in a city called Nazareth. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophets: "He shall be called a Nazarene." (Mat 3:1) In those days YAH Chanan (John the Baptist) *came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, (Mat 3:2) "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Comment: Yah Chanan (JOHN) means Yah’s mercy- comes only one way- repent!)

(Mat 3:3) For this is the one referred to by Isaiah the prophet when he said, "THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, 'MAKE READY THE WAY OF THE LORD, MAKE HIS PATHS STRAIGHT!'" (Mat 3:4) Now Yah-chanan (Comment: which means Yah’s mercy-John) he had a garment of camel's hair and a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey. (Mat 3:5) Then Jerusalem was going out to him, and all Judea and all the district around the Jordan; (Mat 3:6) and they were being baptized by him in the Jordan River, as they confessed their sins. (Mat 3:7) But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, "You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? (Mat 3:8) Therefore bear fruit in keeping with repentance; (Mat 3:9) and do not suppose that you can say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham for our father'; for I say to you that from these stones YHWH is able to raise up children to Abraham. (Mat 3:10) "The axe is already laid at the root of the trees; therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Here is the Baptism of the Spirit which directs our tongues which NO man can tame mentioned in Acts 1:7-2:5 and is what empowers us to be a WITNESS for Yahshua! (Tongues is our direction according to James)

(Mat 3:11) "As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. (Mat 3:12) "His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." (Mat 3:13) Then Yahshua *arrived from Galilee at the Jordan coming to John, to be baptized by him. (Mat 3:14) But John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I have need to be baptized by you, and do You come to me?" (Mat 3:15) But Yahshua answering said to him, "Permit it at this time; for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he *permitted Him. (Mat 3:16) After being baptized, Yahshua came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of YHWH descending as a dove and lighting on Him, (Mat 3:17) and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased."

(John 14:12) Verily, verily, I say to you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father. (John 14:13) And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (John 14:14) If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. (John 15:5) I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. (John 15:6) If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. (John 15:7) If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you. (John 15:8) Herein is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples. (John 15:9) As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue in my love. (John 15:10) If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. (John 15:11) These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. (John 15:12) This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you. (John 15:13) Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.
