December 24, 2016 Korah’s Rebellion
Shabbat Shalom Loved One!
This study is attached for printing/reading and available at the website below) Why are we on a different schedule of the Torah Cycle than the mainstream and the Orthodox? For me it is about restoration of all things- explanation continued at end of this week’s study! Next week we will address what I hoped to be address this week- to determine WHAT is fulfilled already and what is not. This is important because of these words spoken by Yahshua:
Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. Matthew 5:18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Matthew 5:19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
SHALOM loved one, are we really still TRUTH SEARCHERS? We must review last week so that I can address the scriptures concerning my promise to address a question many have—Is the Torah (Law-Instructions) ALL fulfilled?
Tough question I know- but one we must continually ask ourselves. Also consider are we just “fitting in” with the dominate culture or on a narrow path?
Consider- SELAH- Matthew 7:12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:13 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Matthew 7:14 because narrow is the gate and difficultis the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Consider 100 men representing 100 percent. How many is the many on the WIDE path? Is it 50%, 70%, 80%, 90% or more? How many are the few on the narrow path? Is it 5%, 10%, 20% 30%, or even 50%?
I want to share what started my journey in DESIRE to become a truth searcher. The day was September 7, 1994. I had just heard Yahshua speak a scripture so profound to me I was shaken. Here’s the scripture:
Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in your name?' Matthew 7:23and then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!'
Think on this with me; they were prophesying IN HIS NAME, they even cast out demons IN HIS NAME; they also did wonderful works (Miracles?) IN HIS NAME… these were not likely evil doers, Muslims, Buddhists, etc. - these sounded a lot like myself- I had seen and done many miracles IN HIS NAME, I had cast out devils IN HIS NAME. They sounded like strong believing Christians to me! Further, I had NO IDEA what laws these were breaking- that He would command them to DEPART from Him. They thought the laws were no longer important- that Moses and the Prophets had passed away…that they were under grace alone now- and used it as a license to SIN- or as 1 John defines- sin is lawlessness or disobedience to the laws of Yahweh and “doing away” and assuming Yahweh’s Laws are “passed away”.
These were not likely man’s laws they had done away with practicing- these were not evil doers such as murderer’s, drug pushers, whores etc. these were doing wonderful works IN HIS NAME. Try and let that sink in. As that sunk in to me that day- September 7, 1994, the day I will never forget, I hurled my Bible across my Board Room and yelled at God- “I would just as soon serve satan as think I was serving you all my life and end up screaming in hell like these! I don’t even know what laws these believers were breaking, lord.” I continued, “I am sorry Lord, I give you permission, no, I beg you; change everything in me you do not like, NOW- before I must stand in your presence for judgment- teach me about your laws you speak of, because apart from you showing me- I do not even know what you are talking about!”
I suspect that all of us have inherited lies- some from the church system and just as many leaving and believing that our entry into learning about Torah was free from added lies and traditions of Judaism. How could anyone of us be so gullible? Much of what was accepted as absolute truth was soon discovered to be Judaism- added to and taking away from scripture truth that is established in Heaven. Consider carefully, that we have likely inherited some traditions that make the word of none effect! Only a remnant will come out of Christian inherited lies and only a remnant will come out of Judaism inherited lies and develop a relationship of INTIMACY with our Messiah and our Heavenly Father. Only a REMNANT! (A FEW)
Deuteronomy 4:2 “Do not add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it, a so as to guard the commands of יהוה your Elohim which I am commanding you. Deuteronomy 4:3 “Your eyes have seen what יהוה did at Ba‛al Pe‛or, for יהוה your Elohim has destroyed from your midst all the men who followed Ba‛al Pe‛or. Deuteronomy 4:4 “But you who are clinging to יהוה your Elohim are alive today, every one of you.
Psalm 119:89 LAMED. Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. No one is arguing with YHWH in Heaven, the thing we must enforce His word by speaking agreement with His promises in the earth; where hasatan is ruling the masses.
Jeremiah 16:19 O יהוה, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge, in the day of distress the nations shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “Our fathers have inherited only lies (falsehood), futility, and there is no value in them.” a Footnote: a See also Psalms_147:19, Isaiah_2:3, Isaiah_60:2-3, John_4:22, Romans_2:20, Romans_3:2 and Romans_9:4.
No matter how well we think we are DOING THE GOSPEL- there are some traps set for all of us. We should remember that- once we think we have the truth and have arrived, and have no need to repent- we have fallen. As we move closer to His return and rule- we will need to REPENT. What did John come preaching for His first coming? You are correct- REPENT! Did not Yahshua warn us- that the spirit of Elijah must come again, but if we could receive it- he has already come as John? Note that Yahshua did not disagree with them, Elijah (IMO- Spirit of REPENTANCE) must come first- but also has already come. (NKJV)
Mark 9:11 And they asked Him, saying, "Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?" Mark 9:12 Then He answered and told them, "Indeed, Elijah is coming first and restores all things. And how is it written concerning the Son of Man, that He must suffer many things and be treated with contempt? Mark 9:13 But I say to you that Elijah has also come, and they did to him whatever they wished, as it is written of him."
If all is well, then why does Yahshua warn us? Does this apply to Judah and Ephraim- or us the scattered tribes who are now primarily Born Again Christians today- the Lost Sheep He came for? Or did it only apply to Judah as they had added so much nonsense to what Moses was told by Yahweh- face to face? Listen closely loved one; our hearts MUST become intertwined with His. Once we add or accept added traditions and holy days (Holidays)that He did not originate- we have removed ourselves from the NARROW PATH OF TRUTH. When we accept the commandments and traditions of men rather than obeying His commands- we are DECEIVED.
Mark 7:6 He answered and said to them, "Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: 'THIS PEOPLE HONORS ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME. Mark 7:7 AND IN VAIN THEY WORSHIP ME, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN.' …Mark 7:13 making the word of Yahweh (God) of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do."
I must remind myself- ALL the Torah and the Prophets hang on RELATIONSHIP—that comes from LOVE (Obedience is love as honor, reverence and respect) John 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him." Remember, he later tells us; if we will not obey Him, and say we love Him---we are liars!
Matthew 22:36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?" Matthew 22:37 Yahshua said to him, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YAHWEH YOUR ELOHIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' Matthew 22:38 this is the first and great commandment. Matthew22:39 and the second is like it: 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' Matthew 22:40on these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
All of the above is my attempt to warn you and me- we MUST LEARN TO LOVE- not only love Yahweh- but love our neighbor as ourselves- you know considering their needs and wants- perhaps above our own.
We must learn to focus our attention on Him and His promises- not on the facts we may be experiencing.
He has destroyed the works of hell and therefore we can overcome the plans of hell, the giants and overwhelming obstacles and still walk in victory. This is what He came for; to destroy the works of hell and gather the LOST SHEEP (You and I) of Israel! Obviously, to gather the Lost Sheep (Northern 10 tribes of Israel- Ephraim who was scattered all over the earth for paganism such as Easter goddess worship, winter solstice sun worship- Christmas w/trees, see Jeremiah 10) He would have to destroy the works of hell and the devils right to rule us and give us opportunity and power to REPENT and become the manifest sons and daughters of YHWH! Note below the seed is the WORD who was made flesh and dwelled (Tabernacled) with us- Yahshua Messiah! WHAT IS SIN- BIBLICALLY? (1 John 3:4) Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness (Torahlessness) (1 John 3:5) and you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. (1 John 3:6) Everyone staying in Him does not sin. Everyone sinning has neither seen Him nor known Him.1 Footnote: 1 See 2:4 & 3 John v. 11. (1 John 3:7) Little children, let no one lead you astray. The one doing righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.1 Footnote: 1 See 2:29. (1 John 3:8) The one doing sin is of the devil, because the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Elohim was manifested: to destroy the works of the devil.1 Footnote: 1 See Titus 2:14. (1 John 3:9) Everyone having been born of Elohim does not sin, because His seed stays in him, and he is powerless to sin, because he has been born of Elohim. (1 John 3:10) In this the children of Elohim and the children of the devil are manifest: Everyone not doing righteousness is not of Elohim, 1 neither the one not loving his brother. Footnote: 1 See 3 John v. 11. (1 John 3:11) This is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, (1 John 3:12) not as Qayin who was of the wicked one and killed his brother. And why did he kill him? Because his works were wicked but those of his brother were righteous. (1 John 3:13) Do not marvel, my brothers, if the world hates you.1 Footnote: 1 See John 15:18-19, John 17:14.
Okay, now let’s look at scripture to help us consider WHAT IS FULFILLED?
This will help us determine why or if we should start doing our best to recognize the Feasts of Yahweh. They are not commanded traditions of men, they are not Jewish Feasts, However; they are the Feasts (MOED- Holy-Set-Apart) Convocations or APPOINTMENTS with and of Yahweh. They are the shadows (Pictures) of things to come. In 325 A.D. Constantine, who was a sun god worshiper and the Roman Emperor- decreed that all other celebrations or “Jewish” holy days would be banned – other than worship of the Sun and determined the SUN day to do so. The only ones who could be exempt from the SUN Day worship would be those who were harvesting grain.
Many believers in Messiah today understand that observance of these Feasts or MOED today would be legalism and a departure from faith in Messiah and what He has done to bring us deliverance and salvation by faith and trust in Him and His sacrifice. Here’s what He told me about- and you must hear and obey for yourself: “It is not legalism to obey me- it is called obedience and brings forth my promised blessings; it IS legalism and vain tradition to obey men’s added commands and traditions and brings forth my promised curse.”
Remember with me that we are not to add to nor subtract from the commands – the WORD of Yahweh. Why is that important here? Because if you add extra biblical holy days or words/instructions and traditions- you no longer have His instructions ---but you then have man’s instructions and traditions- whether they are fun times or just boring religious traditions matters not.
We need to grasp the idea that Father put the Sun, moon and stars in position for Seasons, Days, and Years- these are for the Moedim- the Set Apart Holy Days (Holidays) Appointments or Feast Days.
Genesis_1:14 Then Yahweh said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;
Psalms_16:7 I will bless Yahweh who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
Psalms_104:19 He appointed the moon for seasons; The sun knows its going down.
Ezekiel_45:17 Then it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings, at the feasts, the New Moons, the Sabbaths, and at all the appointed seasons of the house of Israel. He shall prepare the sin offering, the grain offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings to make atonement for the house of Israel."

From H3259; properly an appointment, that is, a fixed time or season; specifically a festival; conventionally a year; by implication, an assembly (as convened for a definite purpose); technically the congregation; by extension, the place of meeting; also a signal (as appointed beforehand): - appointed (sign, time), (place of, solemn) assembly, congregation, (set, solemn) feast, (appointed, due) season, solemn (-ity), synagogue, (set) time (appointed).
Okay, so what are the importance for us who are believers and followers of our Set-Apart Father and Messiah Yahshua (Jesus)? Here is one good reason of importance- to obey is better than sacrifice. Here’s another- they are the shadow pictures of what is to come. If we want to understand the Times and Seasons, we will need to practice to the best of our understandings, as they are showing us patterns and appointments- cycles that will repeat. Let’s look closer at what Yahshua warned us about…traditions taking place of the commands of Yahweh…
Mark 7:6 He answered and said to them, "Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: 'THIS PEOPLE HONORS ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME. Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of Yahweh, you hold the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do." Mark 7:9 He said to them, "All too well you reject the commandment of Yahweh, that you may keep your tradition.
We are supposed to understand the Times and Seasons- Note below that the MOED (Appointment of Yahweh)comes on the world like a thief in the night for when THEY say peace and safety; sudden destruction comes upon THEM and THEY shall not escape. But we who love Yahweh (Obey Him according to John 14:21) are sons of light and we will know the times.
The Day of the Lord 1 Thessalonians 5:1 But concerning the times and the seasons, (Moedim) brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 1 Thessalonians 5:2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the Day of Yahweh (the Lord) so comes as a thief in the night. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 1 Thessalonians 5:4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 1 Thessalonians 5:5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 1 Thessalonians 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
Next week we will address the goal for this week- to determine WHAT is fulfilled already and what is not. This is important because of these words spoken by Yahshua:

How do we walk out our faith no matter what our circumstances and storms are?
To explain further the reality concerning our authority over the devil’s works in our lives; many years ago Yahshua told me, “I destroyed the works of hell, he has NO power of his own!” Then I asked Him, “If he has no power how then is he doing so much evil against us as believers?” Then Yahshua spoke again, “he has no power of his own but to show you the storm and the overwhelming circumstances/obstacles to your provision from me. When you agree with your words with the storm and circumstances (like Kĕpha (Peter) did when the storm came as I had commanded him to walk on the water and come to me- and he put his eyes on the great storm and off of me and sank) hasatan steals your power- you agree with hell and I stand down, leaving you with the results of the one you have agreed with!” Yahshua continued, (Proverbs 18:21) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those loving it eat its fruit.”
If we claim to be of Yahshua and heir to His promises to Abraham, then we MUST and WILL walk like Yahshua did.
(1 John 2:4) The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (1 John 2:5) But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected1 in him. By this we know that we are in Him.2 Footnotes: 1 Gen. 17:1, Ps. 119:1, Mt. 5:48. 2 See 3:24. (1 John 2:6) The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked.
Okay- this is what happens when we submit and obey willingly; Submitting means submitting to the WORD and we change for He changes NOT! Look- He really wants to help us and delivers us from all the works of hell!
(John 14:12) “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do he shall do also. And greater works than these he shall do, because I go to My Father. (John 14:13) “Whatever you ask in My Name, that I shall do, in order that the Father might be esteemed in the Son. (John 14:14) “If you ask whatever in My Name, I shall do it. (John 14:15) “If you love me, you shall guard my commands.1 Footnote: 1 See Ex. 20:6, vv. 21&23, 1 John 5:2-3, 2 John v. 6. (John 14:16) “And I shall ask the Father, and He shall give you another Helper, to stay with you forever – (John 14:17) the Spirit of the Truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, for He stays with you and shall be in you. (John 14:18) “I shall not leave you orphans – I am coming to you. (John 14:19) “Yet a little while, and the world no longer sees me, but you shall see me, because I live, and you shall live. (John 14:20) “In that day you shall know that I am in My Father and you in me, and I in you. (John 14:21) “He who possesses my commands and guards them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and manifest myself to him.”

(Isaiah 1:19) “If you submit and obey (willing and obedient), you shall eat the good of the land; (Isaiah 1:20) but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword,” the mouth of יהוה has spoken.
We become LESS and He becomes MORE of us! As we receive the engrafted Word of Life by submitting (receiving) - we become DOERS of the Word and not hearers only! We change and become more like our King and Savior. Then we are not so easily deceived. (James 4:7) So then subject yourselves to Elohim. Resist the devil 1 and he shall flee from you. Footnote: 1 Or adversary. (James 4:8) Draw near to Elohim and He shall draw near to you. Cleanse hands, sinners. And cleanse the hearts, you double-minded! This shows our maturity as we yield our tongues to the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and He directs us. As He directs us more and more we can become more assured of our destiny and purpose and FEAR NOT! Our loving Creator who has ALL power laughs at the wicked men raging against Him- He holds them in derision- FEAR NOT!
Hebraically speaking, IF we REALLY BELIEVE IN HIM – (believe what He says) we will DO what He says! Goodness- IF the works of hell are headed our way? SO WHAT! He really will help us and deliver us from all the works of hell! We are overcomers and willing to stop LISTEN and OBEY!

Still got a Christmas tree? Obedience is still better than all our sacrifices- Do we want to avoid Him rejecting us? Come out from her my people OR partake in her plagues…
(1 Samuel 15:22) Then Shemu’ĕl said, “Does יהוה delight in burnt offerings and slaughtering as in obeying the voice ofיהוה? Look, to obey is better than an offering, to heed is better than the fat of rams. (1 Samuel 15:23) “For rebellion is as the sin of divination (witchcraft), and stubbornness is as wickedness and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word ofיהוה, He also does reject you as sovereign.”
Let’s not our customs be worthless before YHWH!
(Jeremiah 10:1) Hear the word which יהוה speaks to you, O house of Yisra’ĕl. (Jeremiah 10:2) Thus said יהוה, “Do not learn the way of the gentiles (pagan-heathen), 1 and do not be awed by the signs of the heavens, for the gentiles are awed by them.2 Footnotes: 1 Lev. 18:3, Dt. 12:30 & 18:9, Ezek. 11:12 & 20:32, Eph. 4:17, 1 Peter 4:3. 2 Dt. 4:19 & 17:3. (Jeremiah 10:3) “For the prescribed customs of these peoples are worthless, for one cuts a tree from the forest, work for the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool. (Jeremiah 10:4) “They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with nails and hammers so that it does not topple.
Please hear with your spiritual ears: Our tongue will direct our lives; IF we remain stubborn and not allow Him to control us- it will lead us to destruction! If we submit we gain His SHALOM as He directs us! Hallelu-YAH! He IS the Prince of Shalom! This is evident in the 2 spies GOOD REPORT (Yah’s word) VS the 10 spies Evil factual report in last week’s Torah portion! Yes- especially for us today there are giants in the land but we will believe and SPEAK AGREEMENT WITH OUR KING!

(Numbers 16:1) And Qoraḥ, son of Yitshar, son of Qehath, son of Lĕwi, took both Dathan and Abram the sons of Eliyaḇ, and On, son of Peleth, sons of Re’uḇĕn, (Numbers 16:2) and they rose up before Mosheh with some of the children of Yisra’ĕl, two hundred and fifty leaders of the congregation, called ones of the meeting, men of name.(Numbers 16:3) And they assembled against Mosheh and against Aharon, and said to them, “Enough of you! For the entire congregation is set-apart, all of them, and יהוה is in their midst. Why then do you lift up yourselves above the assembly of יהוה?” (Numbers 16:4) And when Mosheh heard, he fell on his face, (Numbers 16:5) and spoke to Qoraḥ and all his company, saying, “Tomorrow morning יהוה shall make known who is His and who is set-apart, and bring him near to Him. And let Him bring near to Him the one whom He chooses. (Numbers 16:6) “Do this: Take fire holders, Qoraḥ and all your company, (Numbers 16:7) and put fire in them and put incense in them before יהוהtomorrow. And it shall be that the one whom יהוה chooses is the set-apart one. Enough of you- sons of Lĕwi!”(Numbers 16:8) And Mosheh said to Qoraḥ, “Hear now, you sons of Lĕwi: (Numbers 16:9) “Is it little to you that the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl has separated you from the congregation of Yisra’ĕl, to bring you near to Himself, to perform the service of the Dwelling Place of יהוה, and to stand before the congregation to serve them, (Numbers 16:10) and that He has brought you near to Himself, you and all your brothers, the sons of Lĕwi, with you? Yet you seek the priesthood as well? (Numbers 16:11) “Therefore you and all your company are set against יהוה. And Aharon, what is he that you grumble against him?” (Numbers 16:12) And Mosheh sent to call Dathan and Aḇiram the sons of Eliyaḇ, but they said, “We are not coming up! (Numbers 16:13) “Is it little that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, that you would also seize total rule over us? (Numbers 16:14) “Also, you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards. Would you bore out the eyes of these men? We are not coming up!”
Moses makes His plea for JUSTICE before the Father of Lights! Korah makes his plea to the people!
(Numbers 16:15) And Mosheh became very displeased, and said to יהוה, “Do not respect their offering. I have not taken one donkey from them, nor have I done harm to any of them.” (Numbers 16:16) Then Mosheh said to Qoraḥ, “Tomorrow, you and all your company shall be there before יהוה, you, them and Aharon. (Numbers 16:17) “And take each one his fire holder, and you shall put incense in it. And let each one bring his fire holder before יהוה, two hundred and fifty fire holders, and you and Aharon, each one with his fire holder.” (Numbers 16:18) So each one took his fire holder, and put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and stood at the door of the Tent of Meeting with Mosheh and Aharon.(Numbers 16:19) And Qoraḥ assembled the entire congregation against them at the door of the Tent of Meeting. Then the esteem (Glory) of יהוה appeared to the entire congregation.
YHWH will have the FINAL ANSWER- yes even in your plea for justice!
Note YHWH’s Judgment-
(Numbers 16:20) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, and to Aharon, saying, (Numbers 16:21) “Separate yourselves from the midst of this congregation, and let me consume them in a moment.” (Numbers 16:22) But they fell on their faces, and said, “O Ěl, Elohim of the spirits of all flesh! When one man sins, are you wroth with the entire congregation?”(Numbers 16:23) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Numbers 16:24) “Speak to the congregation, saying; ‘Move away from around the tents of Qoraḥ, Dathan, and Aḇiram.’ ” (Numbers 16:25) So Mosheh rose up and went to Dathan and Aḇiram, and the elders of Yisra’ĕl followed him. (Numbers 16:26) And he spoke to the congregation, saying, “Please turn away from the tents of these wrong men! Do not touch whatever belongs to them, lest you be consumed in all their sins.” (Numbers 16:27) Then they moved away from around the tents of Qoraḥ, Dathan, and Aḇiram. And Dathan and Aḇiram came out and stood at the door of their tents, with their wives, and their sons, and their little children. (Numbers 16:28) And Mosheh said, “By this you know that יהוה has sent me to do all these works that they are not from my own heart. (Numbers 16:29) “If these die as all men do, or if they are visited as all men are visited, then יהוה has not sent me. (Numbers 16:30) “But if יהוה creates what is unheard of, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the grave, then you shall know that these men have scorned יהוה.”
(Numbers 16:31) And it came to be, as he ended speaking all these words, that the ground under them split apart, (Numbers 16:32) and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men with Qoraḥ, with all their goods. (Numbers 16:33) So they and all those with them went down alive into the grave, and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.
This judgment put the FEAR of YHWH (Not the devil and his men) into everyone- We can expect the same! Remember these Scriptures are the shadow picture of good things to come! Hallelu-YAH!
(Numbers 16:34) And all Yisra’ĕl who were round about them fled at their cry, for they said, “Lest the earth swallow us up!” (Numbers 16:35) And a fire came out from יהוה and consumed the two hundred and fifty men who were offering incense. (Numbers 16:36) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Numbers 16:37) “Say to Elʽazar, son of Aharon the priest, to pick up the fire holders out of the blaze, for they are set-apart, and scatter the fire some distance away. (Numbers 16:38) “The fire holders of these men, who sinned against their own lives, let them be made into beaten plates as a covering for the altar. Because they brought them before יהוה, therefore they are set-apart. And let them become a sign to the children of Yisra’ĕl.” (Numbers 16:39) And Elʽazar the priest took the bronze fire holders, which those who were burned up had brought, and they were beaten out as a covering on the altar – (Numbers 16:40) a remembrance to the children of Yisra’ĕl that no stranger who is not of the seed of Aharon, should come near to offer incense before יהוה, and not be like Qoraḥ and his company – as יהוה had said to him through Mosheh.
There will be those in our assemblies of believers in the DAYS OF JACOB’S TROUBLES that will rebel- complain and murmur and receive YHWH’s judgment also- our goal is to not be among them! Please NOTE- the love of Moses and Aaron for the people and their interceding for them- The HEART OF A REAL “PASTOR”
(Numbers 16:41) But all the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕl grumbled against Mosheh and against Aharon on the next day, saying, “You, you have killed the people of יהוה.” (Numbers 16:42) And it came to be, when the congregation assembled against Mosheh and against Aharon, that they turned toward the Tent of Meeting. And see, the cloud covered it, and the esteem of יהוה appeared. (Numbers 16:43) And Mosheh and Aharon came before the Tent of Meeting. (Numbers 16:44) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Numbers 16:45) “Arise from amidst this congregation, and let me consume them in a moment.” And they fell on their faces. (Numbers 16:46) So Mosheh said to Aharon, “Take the fire holder and put fire in it from the altar, and lay incense on, and go, hurry to the congregation and make atonement for them, for wrath has gone out from יהוה, the plague has begun.” (Numbers 16:47) And Aharon took it as Mosheh commanded, and ran into the midst of the assembly, and saw that the plague had begun among the people. And he laid on the incense and made atonement for the people, (Numbers 16:48) and stood between the dead and the living. And the plague was stopped. (Numbers 16:49) And those who died in the plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those who died on account of Qoraḥ. (Numbers 16:50) Then Aharon returned to Mosheh at the door of the Tent of Meeting, for the plague had stopped.
YHWH’s Instructions come from RELATIONSHIP!
(Numbers 17:1) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Numbers 17:2) “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and take from them a rod from each father’s house, all their leaders according to their fathers’ houses, twelve rods. Write each one’s name on his rod, (Numbers 17:3) and write Aharon’s name on the rod of Lĕwi, for there is one rod for the head of each father’s house. (Numbers 17:4) “You shall then place them in the Tent of Meeting before the Witness, where I meet with you. (Numbers 17:5) “And it shall be that the rod of the man whom I choose buds, and I shall rid myself of the grumblings of the children of Yisra’ĕl, which they grumble against you.” (Numbers 17:6) And Mosheh spoke to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and all their leaders gave him a rod each, for each leader according to their fathers’ houses, twelve rods. And the rod of Aharon was among their rods. (Numbers 17:7) So Mosheh placed the rods before יהוה in the Tent of the Witness. (Numbers 17:8) And it came to be on the next day that Mosheh went into the Tent of the Witness and saw that the rod of Aharon, of the house of Lĕwi, had budded, and brought forth buds, and blossomed and bore ripe almonds. (Numbers 17:9) And Mosheh brought out all the rods from before יהוה to all the children of Yisra’ĕl. And they looked, and each man took his rod. (Numbers 17:10) And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Bring Aharon’s rod back before the Witness, to be kept as a sign against the rebels, so that you put an end to their grumblings against me, lest they die.”(Numbers 17:11) And Mosheh did as יהוה had commanded him, so he did. (Numbers 17:12) And the children of Yisra’ĕl spoke to Mosheh, saying, “See, we shall die, we shall perish, we shall all perish! (Numbers 17:13) “Anyone who comes near the Dwelling Place of יהוה dies. Shall we be consumed – to die?”
Guarding our Royal Priesthood!
(Numbers 18:1) And יהוה said to Aharon, “You and your sons and your father’s house with you are to bear the crookedness against the set-apart place, and you and your sons with you are to bear the crookedness against your priesthood. (Numbers 18:2) “But bring with you your brothers of the tribe of Lĕwi too, the tribe of your father to join you and serve you while you and your sons are with you before the Tent of the Witness. (Numbers 18:3) “And they shall guard your charge, and the duty of the entire Tent, but they do not come near the furnishings of the set-apart place and the altar, lest they die, both they and you. (Numbers 18:4) “And they shall be joined with you and guard the duty to the Tent of Meeting, for all the service of the Tent, but a stranger does not come near you. (Numbers 18:5) “And you shall guard the duty of the set-apart place and the duty of the altar, so that there be no more wrath on the children of Yisra’ĕl. (Numbers 18:6) “And see, I myself have taken your brothers the Lĕwites from the midst of the children of Yisra’ĕl – a gift to you, given by יהוה, to do the service of the Tent of Meeting. (Numbers 18:7) “But you and your sons with you are to guard your priesthood for all matters at the altar and behind the veil, and you shall serve. I have given you the priesthood as a gift for service, but the stranger who comes near is put to death.” (Numbers 18:8) And יהוהspoke to Aharon, “And see, I myself have also given you the charge of my contributions, all the set-apart gifts of the children of Yisra’ĕl. I have given them to you for the anointing, and to your sons, as a law forever. (Numbers 18:9) “This is yours of the most set-apart gifts, from the fire: all their offerings, all their grain offerings and all their sin offerings and all their guilt offerings which they render to me, are most set-apart for you and your sons. (Numbers 18:10) “Eat it in the most set-apart place – every male eats it. It is set-apart to you. (Numbers 18:11) “This also is yours: the contribution of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Yisra’ĕl. I have given them to you, and your sons and daughters with you, as a law forever. Everyone who is clean in your house eats it. (Numbers 18:12) “All the best of the oil, and all the best of the new wine and the grain – their first-fruits which they give to יהוה – I have given them to you. (Numbers 18:13) “The first-fruits of all that is in their land, which they bring to יהוה, are yours. Everyone who is clean in your house eats it. (Numbers 18:14) “All that is dedicated in Yisra’ĕl is yours. (Numbers 18:15) “Everyone opening a womb of all flesh, which they bring to יהוה, whether man or beast, is yours. But the first-born of man you shall certainly ransom, and the first-born of the unclean beast you ransom. (Numbers 18:16) “And ransom their ransomed ones when one month old, according to your valuation, five sheqels of silver, according to the sheqel of the set-apart place, which is twenty gĕrahs. (Numbers 18:17) “But the first-born of a cow, or the first-born of a sheep, or the first-born of a goat you do not ransom, they are set-apart. Sprinkle their blood on the altar, and burn their fat as an offering made by fire for a sweet fragrance to יהוה. (Numbers 18:18) “And their flesh is yours, as the wave breast and as the right thigh, it is yours. (Numbers 18:19) “All the contributions of the set-apart gifts, which the children of Yisra’ĕl present to יהוה, I have given to you and your sons and daughters with you as a law forever. It is a covenant of salt forever before יהוה with you and your seed with you.” (Numbers 18:20) And יהוה said to Aharon, “You are not to have an inheritance in their land, nor have any portion in their midst. I am your portion and your inheritance among the children of Yisra’ĕl. (Numbers 18:21) “And see, I have given the children of Lĕwi all the tithes in Yisra’ĕl as an inheritance in return for the service which they are serving, the service of the Tent of Meeting. (Numbers 18:22) “And let the children of Yisra’ĕl no more come near the Tent of Meeting, lest they bear sin and die, (Numbers 18:23)because the Lĕwites shall do the service of the Tent of Meeting, so they themselves bear their crookedness. A law forever, throughout your generations: that among the children of Yisra’ĕl they are to have no inheritance, (Numbers 18:24) but the tithes of the children of Yisra’ĕl, which they present as a contribution to יהוה, I have given to the Lĕwites as an inheritance. That is why I have said to them, ‘among the children of Yisra’ĕl they have no inheritance.’ ”(Numbers 18:25) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Numbers18:26) “Speak to the Lĕwites and say to them, ‘When you take from the children of Yisra’ĕl the tithes which I have given you from them as your inheritance, then you shall present a contribution of it to יהוה, a tenth of the tithe. (Numbers 18:27) ‘And your contribution shall be reckoned to you as grain from the threshing-floor and as filling from the wine press. (Numbers 18:28) ‘Thus you also present a contribution unto יהוה from all your tithes which you receive from the children of Yisra’ĕl. And you shall give from it the contribution to יהוה to Aharon the priest. (Numbers 18:29) ‘From all your gifts you present every contribution due to יהוה, from all the best of them, the set-apart part of them.’ (Numbers 18:30) “And you shall say to them, ‘When you have presented the best of it, then the rest shall be reckoned to the Lĕwites as the yield of the threshing-floor and as the yield of the wine press. (Numbers 18:31) ‘And you shall eat it in any place, you and your households, for it is your reward for your service in the Tent of Meeting, (Numbers 18:32) and bear no sin because of it, when you have presented the best of it, and do not profane the set-apart gifts of the children of Yisra’ĕl, lest you die.’”
Walking righteously brings appointment and expectations (Usability) by YHWH- note his love to obey and pray for the people--
(1 Samuel 11:14) And Shemu’ĕl said to the people, “Come, and let us go to Gilgal and renew the reign there.” (1 Samuel 11:15) and all the people went to Gilgal, and there they set up Sha’ul to reign before יהוה in Gilgal, and there they made slaughtering of peace offerings before יהוה. And there Sha’ul rejoiced, and all the men of Yisra’ĕl, very greatly. 1 Samuel 12:1) And Shemu’ĕl said to all Yisra’ĕl, “Look, I have listened to your voice in all that you said to me, and have set a sovereign over you. (1 Samuel 12:2) “And now, look, the sovereign is walking before you. And I am old and grey, and look, my sons are with you. And I have walked before you from my youth to this day. (1 Samuel 12:3) “Look, here I am. Witness against me before יהוה and before His anointed: Whose ox have I taken, or whose donkey have I taken, or whom have I oppressed? Whom have I abused, or from whose hand have I received any bribe with which to blind my eyes? – then I restore it to you.” (1 Samuel 12:4) And they said, “You have not oppressed us or abused us, nor have you taken any bribe from anyone’s hand.” (1 Samuel 12:5) So he said to them, “יהוה is witness against you, and His anointed is witness today, that you have found naught in my hand.” And they answered, “He is witness.” (1 Samuel 12:6) And Shemu’ĕl said to the people, “It is יהוה who appointed Mosheh and Aharon, and who brought your fathers up from the land of Mitsrayim. (1 Samuel 12:7) “And now, stand still, so that I judge you before יהוה concerning all the righteous acts of יהוהwhich He did to you and your fathers: (1 Samuel 12:8) “When Yaʽaqoḇ had come to Mitsrayim, and your fathers cried out toיהוה, then יהוה sent Mosheh and Aharon, who brought your fathers out of Mitsrayim and made them dwell in this place.(1 Samuel 12:9) “But they forgot יהוה their Elohim, so He sold them into the hand of Sisera, commander of the army of Ḥatsor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the sovereign of Mo’aḇ. And they fought against them.(1 Samuel 12:10) “And they cried out to יהוה, and said, ‘We have sinned, because we have forsaken יהוה and served the Baʽals and the Ashtaroth. And now, deliver us from the hand of our enemies, and we serve you.’ (1 Samuel 12:11) “And יהוהsent Yerubbaʽal, and Beḏan, and Yiphtaḥ, and Shemu’ĕl, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies round about, and you dwelt in safety. (1 Samuel 12:12) “And when you saw that Naḥash sovereign of the children of Ammon came against you, you said to me, ‘No, but let a sovereign reign over us,’ when יהוה your Elohim was your sovereign. (1 Samuel 12:13) “And now, here is the sovereign whom you have chosen and whom you have asked. And see, יהוה has set a sovereign over you. (1 Samuel 12:14) “If you fear יהוה, and shall serve Him and obey His voice, and not rebel against the command of יהוה, then both you and the sovereign who reigns over you shall follow יהוה your Elohim. (1 Samuel 12:15) “But if you do not obey the voice of יהוה, and shall rebel against the command of יהוה, then the hand of יהוה shall be against you, as it was against your fathers. (1 Samuel 12:16) “And now, stand and see this great matter which יהוה does before your eyes: (1 Samuel 12:17) “Is today not the wheat harvest? Let me call to יהוה, so that He sends thunder and rain – know then and see that your evil is great, which you have done in the eyes of יהוה, in asking for yourselves a sovereign.” (1 Samuel 12:18) And Shemu’ĕl called to יהוה, and יהוה sent thunder and rain that day. And all the people greatly feared יהוה and Shemu’ĕl. (1 Samuel 12:19) And all the people said to Shemu’ĕl, “Pray for your servants to יהוה your Elohim, that we do not die, for we have added to all our sins this evil of asking for ourselves a sovereign.” (1 Samuel 12:20) And Shemu’ĕl said to the people, “Do not fear. You have done all this evil. Only, do not turn aside from following יהוה. And you shall serve יהוה with all your heart, (1 Samuel 12:21) and do not turn aside after worthless matters which do not profit or deliver, for they are worthless. (1 Samuel 12:22) “For יהוה would not cast away His people, for His great Name’s sake, seeing it has pleased יהוה to make you His people. (1 Samuel 12:23) “Also, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against יהוה in ceasing to pray for you, but I shall teach you the good and straight way. (1 Samuel 12:24) “Only fear יהוה, and you shall serve Him in truth with all your heart, for consider what marvels He has done for you. (1 Samuel 12:25) “But if you persist in doing evil, both you and your sovereign are consumed.”
We must keep ourselves in an obedient and humble mode- keeping no offense- so we continue to hear His Instructions
(Hebrews 3:1) Therefore, set-apart brothers, partakers of the heavenly calling, closely consider the Emissary and High Priest of our confession, Messiah יהושע, (Hebrews 3:2) who was trustworthy to Him who appointed Him, as also Mosheh in his entire house. (Hebrews 3:3) For this one has been deemed worthy of more esteem than Mosheh, as much as He who built the house enjoys more respect than the house. (Hebrews 3:4) Every house is built by someone, but He who built all is Elohim. (Hebrews 3:5) And Mosheh indeed was trustworthy in his entire house as a servant, for a witness of what would be spoken later, (Hebrews 3:6) but Messiah as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the boldness and the boasting of the expectation firm to the end. (Hebrews 3:7) Therefore, as the Set-apart Spirit says, “Today, if you hear His voice, (Hebrews 3:8) do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness, (Hebrews 3:9) where your fathers tried Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years. (Hebrews 3:10) “Therefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known my ways.’ (Hebrews 3:11) “As I swore in my wrath, ‘If they shall enter into my rest...’ ” 1 Footnote: 1 Psalms 95:7-11. (Hebrews 3:12) Look out, brothers, lest there be in any of you a wicked heart of unbelief in falling away from the living Elohim, (Hebrews 3:13) but encourage one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened by the deceivableness of sin. (Hebrews 3:14) For we have become partakers of Messiah if we hold fast the beginning of our trust firm to the end, (Hebrews 3:15) while it is said, “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” (Hebrews 3:16) For whom, having heard, rebelled? Was it not all who came out of Mitsrayim, led by Mosheh? (Hebrews 3:17) And with who was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? (Hebrews 3:18) And to whom did He swear that they would not enter into His rest, but to those who did not obey? (Hebrews 3:19) So we see that they were unable to enter in because of unbelief.
We are warned here not to murmur and complain; but to pray in the Spirit- building up our most set apart faith and trust that He may direct us to produce fruit that remains!
(Jude 1:9) But Miḵa’ĕl the chief messenger (Angel), in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Mosheh, presumed not to bring against him a blasphemous accusation, but said, “יהוה rebuke you!” (Jude 1:10) But these blaspheme that which they do not know. And that which they know naturally, like unreasoning beasts, in these they corrupt themselves. (Jude 1:11) Woe to them! They have gone in the way of Qayin, and gave themselves to the delusion of Bilʽam for a reward, and perished in the rebellion of Qoraḥ. (Jude 1:12) These are rocky reefs in your love feasts, feasting with you, feeding themselves without fear, waterless clouds borne about by the winds, late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots, (Jude 1:13) wild waves of the sea foaming up their own shame, straying stars for whom blackness of darkness is kept forever. (Jude 1:14) And Ḥanoḵ, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied of these, saying, “See, יהוה comes with His myriads of set-apart ones, (Jude 1:15) to execute judgment on all, to punish all who are wicked among them concerning all their wicked works which they have committed in a wicked way, and concerning all the harsh words which wicked sinners have spoken against Him.” (Jude 1:16) These are grumblers, complainers, who walk according to their own lusts, and their mouth speaks proudly, admiring faces of others for the sake of gain. (Jude 1:17) But you, beloved ones, remember the words spoken before by the emissaries of our Master יהושע Messiah, (Jude 1:18) because they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own wicked lusts. (Jude 1:19) These are the ones who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. (Jude 1:20) But you, beloved ones, building yourselves up on your most set-apart belief, praying in the Set-apart Spirit, (Jude 1:21) keep yourselves in the love of Elohim, looking for the compassion of our Master יהושע Messiah unto everlasting life.
When hasatan inhabits the anti-messiah the last 42 months (The Great Tribulation) we (who are born again and keep His commandments) are protected in the wilderness!
(Revelation 12:13) And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child. (Revelation 12:14) And the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, to fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
Note the swallowing of the flood (Which are rebellious people doing evil against us) is like Korah’s rebellion!
(Revelation 12:15) And out of his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river after the woman, to cause her to be swept away by the river. (Revelation 12:16) And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river (people-flood) which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
Note who hasatan makes war against- not Judah or many fast asleep Christians- but those of the believers who have the testimony of Yahshua (born again spiritually) and keep His Commandments.
(Revelation 12:17) And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of יהושע Messiah.
My prayer for you Loved One- is that you and ALL your loved ones guard the commands of YHWH and possess the testimony of Yahshua the Messiah. That you HEAR and OBEY Yahshua- our Chief Shepherd, and escape and endure the enemy; producing much fruit that glorifies our Father! Hallelu-YAH! Please understand the seasons we are in loved one; (Mark 13:8) “For nation (ethnos-race) shall rise against nation (ethnos-race), and reign against reign. And there shall be earthquakes in various places, and there shall be scarcities of food, and disturbances. These are the beginnings of birth-pains. (Mark 13:9) “But take heed to yourselves, for they shall deliver you up to councils and to congregations. You shall be beaten, and you shall be brought before rulers and sovereigns for my sake, for a witness to them. (Mark 13:10) “And the Good News has to be proclaimed first to all the nations. (Mark 13:11) “And when they lead you away and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand what you are to say. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that, for it is not you who are speaking, but the Set-apart Spirit. Lastly my prayer is that you recognize and understand the Seasons of Distress we are in and have wisdom from Heaven- that you and your loved ones escape and endure and STAND AT HIS APPEARING! Continued explanation of our Torah Cycle restart at beginning of months… It is about YHWH restoring all things which sometimes means we are walking alone. I start over annually when YHWH’s year starts over; this is not to say that I am correct and others are wrong, I just happen to believe we will never challenge our older brother Judah by following his traditions. I expect Judah will be moved by our obedience to His Torah (Words of Scripture) and seeing YHWH’s signs and wonders following our obedience- Does the statement above mean we are not to grab the tzitzit of Yehuda and take hold and learn from them? Of course not, we absolutely should learn of them and from them- just not ingest and keep that which is traditions that go against His words! Especially since we are the ten (Ten scattered northern tribes scattered for Easter and sun god day worship which parallels closely as a pig slop eating prodigal brother)
