These are the “Days of Awe” loved one, starting with the Feast of Trumpets which was by most reckonings Thursday (9-29) at sundown! The 10 Days of Awe are days of repentance leading to repentance, fasting and The Day of Atonement (Commonly called Judgment Day by many Christians in regard to the final one) also known as Yom Kippur will be the 10th day counting from Thursday evening at sundown. If I am counting correctly that would make our fasting day- The Day of Atonement on the evening of the 8th and all day the 9th of October and Feast of Tabernacles starting on the evening of the 13th- however; since most Feasts have to be planned way in advance to allow for availability and planning- many will start on the 12th of October- which is certainly okay as we are not back in Jerusalem and “KEEPING THE FEASTS” we are only still scattered and practicing obedience best we can. The GOOD NEWS is that we will soon all be back in Jerusalem KEEPING THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES! Hehe
Below is during the Millennium reign of Yahshua (Jesus) loved one, so I expect that is a good enough reason for Truth Searchers like us to start learning obedience in “Keeping the Feasts!”
Remember the Hebrew idiom “The Day that no man knows the day or the hour!” (Feast of Trumpets) then 15 days later is the Feast of Tabernacles- Season of our Joy!
(Zechariah 14:16) And it shall be that all who are left from all the gentiles which came up against Yerushalayim, shall go up from year to year to bow themselves to the Sovereign, יהוה of hosts, and to observe the Festival of Booths (Tabernacles). (Zechariah 14:17) And it shall be, that if anyone of the clans of the earth does not come up to Yerushalayim to bow himself to the Sovereign (King), יהוה of hosts, on them there is to be no rain.
How do we know when the Biblical year starts and when we are to keep His Biblically prescribed Feast dates loved one? YHWH put the planets and stars in their courses for seasons days and years. The moon circles the Earth every 29.54 days so we can only have a 29 day month or a 30 day month- never a 28 or 31 day month like Pope Gregory determined. So YHWH is in control of what time it is in His universe! The Biblical NEW YEAR started at sundown Monday April 4! Here is how we determine the real start of the year! (Exodus 12:1) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon in the land of Mitsrayim, saying, Exodus 12:2) “This month is the beginning of months for you; it is the first month of the year for you. (Just before Passover)
Why is that of any importance to you and me living today? Because many of the body of believers have been blinded by the enemy of our souls and still follow vain traditions which are mostly manmade subtractions, additions and traditions of “Churchianity” handed down from the anything but a “Holy” Roman Empire ruler Constantine; who was a sun god worshipper and enforced these “manmade doctrines” with the penalty of death for rejection. Please understand we should know when the year starts so we can observe and do His commanded Holy Days (Holidays) and not do vain observations that He considers abominations. Many Christians honor all the TRADITIONAL holidays such as Christmas, Easter, Lent and never consider their pagan roots which were orchestrated by Rome. Some know that the day of the sun (Sun-day) was rooted from sun god worship and Easter was the pagan fertility goddess, where the Easter Priests (Not Christians or follower of Messiah) - would impregnate the virgins on the sunrise service and sacrifice the 3 month old babies from the prior years' sunrise service, dipping the eggs of Easter into the freshly sacrificed babies blood and declare- HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! Have a prosperous and fertile year! This was their form of Happy New Year! Lent was the 40 days of fasting and weeping for Tamuz followed by killing the pig that killed Tammuz on a hunting expedition and having that for Easter ham- goodness- Loved Ones-think maybe these traditions are possibly an abomination to our Creator? He taught us to NOT LEARN the ways of the heathen and say we are worshipping Him! (Jeremiah 10:2) Thus said יהוה, “Do not learn the way of the gentiles, 1 and do not be awed by the signs of the heavens, for the gentiles are awed by them.2 Footnotes: 1Lev. 18:3, Dt. 12:30 & 18:9, Ezek. 11:12 & 20:32, Eph. 4:17, 1 Peter 4:3. 2Dt. 4:19 & 17:3. He also COMMANDED US: (Deuteronomy 4:2) “Do not add to the Word which I command you, and do not subtract from it1, so as to guard the commands of יהוה your Elohim which I am commanding you. Footnote: 1See also 12:32, Prov. 30:6, Rev. 22:18-19. Do you and I suppose he has changed His mind about that; so we think it okay to ADD these manmade traditions as holy days and festivals (holidays)? And SUBTRACT His Feasts and festivals?
Really- Worship in VAIN? Goodness – maybe we should really reconsider Loved Ones- another Scripture comes to mind- “Come out of her my people or partake in her plagues!” Loved Ones, should we worship Him the way He says or obey men and our traditions? Is obedience to the Word made flesh that dwelled among us really important? Let’s repeat that; Worship in VAIN? Goodness – maybe we should really reconsider Loved Ones- another Scripture comes to mind- “Come out of her my people or partake in her plagues!” Is our own judgment possibly only a heartbeat away? Do we really want to nullify all the promises received from obedience- given in the Word?
Mat 15:3 He answering, said to them, “Why do you also transgress the command of Elohim1 because of your tradition? Footnote: 1See Mat. 5:20. Mat 15:4 “For Elohim has commanded, saying, ‘Respect your father and your mother,’ and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ Mat 15:5 “But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me has been dedicated,” Mat 15:6 is certainly released from respecting his father or mother.’ So you have nullified the command of Elohim by your tradition. Mat 15:7 “Hypocrites! Yeshayahu rightly prophesied about you, saying, Mat 15:8 ‘This people draw near to me with their mouth, and respect me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. Mat 15:9 ‘But in vain do they worship me, teaching as my doctrines- the commands of men.’ ”1 Footnote: 1Isa. 29:13, Mk. 7:7, 2 Kings 17:19.
Obedience is LOVE: (John 14:10) “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak from myself. But the Father who stays in me does His works. (John 14:11) “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in me, otherwise believe me because of the works themselves. (John 14:12) “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do he shall do also. And greater works than these he shall do, because I go to My Father. (John 14:13) “Whatever you ask in my name, that I shall do, in order that the Father might be esteemed in the Son. (John 14:14) “If you ask whatever in my Name, I shall do it. (John 14:15) “If you love me, you shall guard (keep) my commands.1 Footnote: 1See Ex. 20:6, vv. 21&23, 1 John 5:2-3, 2 John v. 6. (John 14:16) “And I shall ask the Father, and He shall give you another Helper, to stay with you forever – (John 14:17) the Spirit of the Truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, for He stays with you and shall be in you. (John 14:18) “I shall not leave you orphans – I am coming to you. (John 14:19) “Yet a little while, and the world no longer sees me, but you shall see me, because I live, and you shall live. (John 14:20) “In that day you shall know that I am in my Father and you in me, and I in you. (John 14:21) “He who possesses my commands and guards (keeps) them; it is he who loves me. And he who loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I shall love him and manifest myself to him.”
Why is this even important to us today? Because if we cannot determine when the year starts we cannot observe His commands out of loving obedience!
Do we realize that IN THE BEGINNING Yahshua (Jesus) was the word and is the word even at Mt Sinai? Malachi 4 and Hebrews 13:8 testifies that He changes not and is the same yesterday, today and forever- what part of “forever” is so difficult for us to understand? The enemy has planted many tares and blinded many of us into thinking our religious traditions are acceptable to our King! However; He claims we are worshipping Him in VAIN! Please let us not use the excuse that those words have passed away because Yahshua addressed that thought beforehand and leaves us no excuse when we stand in His presence; (Mat 5:17) Think not that I am come to destroy the law, (Torah- Instructions) or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. (Mat 5:18) For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (Mat 5:19) Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. So; is it ALL fulfilled? What is fulfilled were the Spring Feasts of YHWH; He was and is the Passover Lamb, He is the High Priest who had to be in seclusion until the First Fruits Offering and could not be touched (“Don’t touch me Mary- I have not yet ascended to the Father”) then the graves opened and many were seen around Jerusalem risen from the dead as He was the first of many of the First Fruits Offering; then on Shavuot (we now call Pentecost) He poured out His Spirit that His commands would no longer be impossible (burdensome) to keep. These were and are the Spring Feasts he and we start our year with- they are the shadow picture of things to come. The Fall Feasts have not yet been fulfilled- we are finally; during our generation, approaching the Feast of Trumpets and at the LAST TRUMPET, the dead in Messiah rise first; then 10 days later we have the DAY OF ATONEMENT or some of us call Judgment Day; then 5 days later we have The Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkoth when we tabernacle or dwell with Him forever; then on the eighth day of this Feast we have the LAST GREAT DAY or the WEDDING FEAST OF THE LAMB. Once again; these Fall Feasts are not yet fulfilled. So what does Yahshua say about this; are there still a heaven and an earth? If there is a heaven and earth still we are commanded to: (Mat 5:17) think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
Remember also LOVED ONES- WE FEAR NOT! We fast and repent getting rid of our unbelief and replacing it with TRUSTING HIM! (Psalms 20:5) We sing of your deliverance, and in the Name of our Elohim we set up a banner! יהוה (YHWH) does fill all your requests! (Psalms 20:6) Now I know that יהוה (YHWH) shall save His Anointed; He answers him from His set-apart heavens with the saving might of His right hand. (Psalms 20:7) Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we remember (trust in) the Name of יהוה (YHWH) our Elohim. (Psalms 20:8) They, they have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and are established. (Psalms 20:9) Save us (YHWH) יהוה! Let the Sovereign answer us in the day we call.
Here are this week’s Torah Scriptures: Tazria “Leprosy- Conceived”
Leviticus 12:1-13:59; 2 Kings 4:42-5:27; Matthew 8:1-4
Quarantine for a woman giving childbirth
(Lev 12:1) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, (Lev 12:2) “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘When a woman has conceived, and has given birth to a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days, as in the days of her monthly separation she is unclean. (Lev 12:3) ‘And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin is circumcised. (Comment: only in recent years did modern medicine discover that vitamin K is released into the male’s blood on the 8th day from birth which coagulated the blood and allows for safe circumcision) (Lev 12:4) ‘And she remains in the blood of her cleansing thirty-three days. She does not touch whatever is set-apart, and she does not come into the set-apart place until the days of her cleansing are completed. (Lev 12:5) ‘But if she gives birth to a female child, then she shall be unclean for two weeks, as in her monthly separation, and she remains in the blood of her cleansing for sixty-six days. (Lev 12:6) ‘And when the days of her cleansing are completed, for a son or for a daughter, she brings to the priest a lamb a year old, as a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove as a sin offering, to the door of the Tent of Meeting. (Lev 12:7) ‘And he shall bring it before יהוה, and make atonement for her, and she shall be cleansed from the flow of her blood. This is the Torah for her who has given birth to a male or a female. (Lev 12:8) ‘And if she is not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one as a burnt offering and the other as a sin offering. And the priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.’ ” (Lev 13:1) And יהוה spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon, saying, (Lev 13:2) “When a man has on the skin of his body a swelling, a scab, or a bright spot, and it shall become on the skin of his body like a leprous infection, then he shall be brought to Aharon the priest or to one of his sons the priests. (Lev 13:3) “And the priest shall look at the infection on the skin of the body. And if the hair on the infection has turned white, and the infection appears to be deeper than the skin of his body, it is a leprous infection. And the priest shall look at him, and pronounce him unclean. (Lev 13:4) “But if the bright spot is white on the skin of his body, and does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and its hair has not turned white, then the priest shall shut up the infected one seven days. (Lev 13:5) “And the priest shall look at him on the seventh day and see, if the infection appears to be as it was, and the infection has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall shut him up another seven days. (Lev 13:6) “And the priest shall look at him again on the seventh day and see, if the infection has darkened, and the infection has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is a scab, and he shall wash his garments and be clean. (Lev 13:7) “But if the scab spreads further over the skin, after he has been seen by the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen by the priest again. (Lev 13:8) “And the priest shall look and see, if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean, it is leprosy. (Lev 13:9) “When the infection of leprosy is on a man, then he shall be brought to the priest. (Lev 13:10) “And the priest shall look and see, if the swelling on the skin is white, and it has turned the hair white, and there is a spot of raw flesh in the swelling, (Lev 13:11) it is an old leprosy on the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. He does not shut him up, for he is unclean. (Lev 13:12) “And if leprosy breaks out all over the skin, and the leprosy shall cover all the skin of the infected one, from his head to his foot, wherever the priest looks, (Lev 13:13) then the priest shall look and see, if the leprosy has covered all his body, he shall pronounce the infected one clean. It has all turned white, he is clean. (Lev 13:14) “But the day raw flesh appears on him, he is unclean. (Lev 13:15) “And the priest shall look at the raw flesh and pronounce him to be unclean – the raw flesh is unclean, it is leprosy. (Lev 13:16) “Or when the raw flesh changes and turns white again, he shall come to the priest. (Lev 13:17) “And the priest shall look at him and see, if the infection has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce the infected one clean, he is clean. (Lev 13:18) “And when the body has a boil in the skin, and it is healed, (Lev 13:19) and in the place of the boil there comes a white swelling or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it shall be seen by the priest. (Lev 13:20) “And the priest shall look and see, if it appears deeper than the skin, and its hair has turned white, the priest shall pronounce him unclean, it is a leprous infection which has broken out of the boil. (Lev 13:21) “But if the priest looks at it and sees no white hairs in it, and it is not deeper than the skin, but has faded, then the priest shall shut him up seven days; (Lev 13:22) and if it has spread further over the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean, it is a leprous infection. (Lev 13:23) “But if the bright spot stays in its place, it has not spread, it is the scar of the boil, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
Burns on our skin- quarantine
(Lev 13:24) “Or when the body receives a burn on its skin by fire, and the raw flesh of the burn shall become a bright spot, reddish-white or white, (Lev 13:25) then the priest shall look at it and see, if the hair of the bright spot has turned white, and it appears deeper than the skin, it is leprosy broken out in the burn. And the priest shall pronounce him unclean, it is a leprous infection. (Lev 13:26) “But if the priest looks at it and sees there are no white hairs in the bright spot, and it is not deeper than the skin, but has faded, then the priest shall shut him up seven days. (Lev 13:27) “And the priest shall look at him on the seventh day. If it spreads further over the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean, it is a leprous infection. (Lev 13:28) “But if the bright spot stays in its place, and has not spread on the skin, but has faded, it is a swelling from the burn. And the priest shall pronounce him clean, for it is the scar from the burn.
Infections on our skin- quarantine
(Lev 13:29) “And when a man, or a woman, has an infection on the head or in the beard, (Lev 13:30) then the priest shall look at the infection and see, if it appears deeper than the skin, and there is thin yellow hair in it, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean, it is an eruption, a leprosy of the head or beard. (Lev 13:31) “But when the priest looks at the infection of the eruption and sees that it does not appear deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then the priest shall shut up the one with the infection of the eruption seven days. (Lev 13:32) “And on the seventh day the priest shall look at the infection and see, if the eruption has not spread, and there is no yellow hair in it, and the eruption does not appear deeper than the skin, (Lev 13:33) then he shall shave himself, but the eruption he does not shave. And the priest shall shut up the one with the eruption another seven days. (Lev 13:34) “And on the seventh day the priest shall look at the eruption and see, if the eruption has not spread over the skin, and does not appear deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. And he shall wash his garments, and he shall be clean. (Lev 13:35) “But if the eruption spreads further over the skin after his cleansing, (Lev 13:36) then the priest shall look at him and see, if the eruption has spread over the skin, the priest need not seek for yellow hair, he is unclean. (Lev 13:37) “But if the eruption appears to have stayed, and there is black hair grown up in it, the eruption has healed. He is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean. (Lev 13:38) “And when a man or a woman has bright spots on the skin of the body, white bright spots, (Lev 13:39) then the priest shall look and see, if the bright spots on the skin of the body are dull white, it is a white spot that grows on the skin, he is clean. (Lev 13:40) “And when a man loses the hair of his head, he is bald, he is clean. (Lev 13:41) “And if the hair has fallen from his forehead, he is bald on the forehead, he is clean. (Lev 13:42) “And when there is on the bald head or bald forehead a reddish-white infection, it is leprosy breaking out on his bald head or his bald forehead. (Lev 13:43) “And the priest shall look at it and see, if the swelling of the infection is reddish-white on his bald head or on his bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy on the skin of the body, (Lev 13:44) he is a leprous man, he is unclean. The priest shall pronounce him unclean, without fail, his infection is on his head. (Lev 13:45) “As for the leper who has the infection, his garments are torn, and his head is uncovered, and he has to cover his upper lip and cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ (Lev 13:46) “He is unclean – all the days he has the infection he is unclean. He is unclean, and he dwells alone, his dwelling place is outside the camp.
Yes even our garments can carry infection
(Lev 13:47) “And when a garment has an infection of leprosy in it, in a woolen garment or in a linen garment, (Lev 13:48) or in the warp or in the weft of linen or wool, or in leather or in any leather-work, (Lev 13:49) and the infection shall be greenish or reddish in the garment or in the leather, or in the warp or in the weft, or in any leather object, it is an infection of leprosy and shall be shown to the priest. (Lev 13:50) “And the priest shall look at the infection and shut up the infected one seven days. (Lev 13:51) “And he shall look at the infection on the seventh day. And when the infection has spread in the garment, or in the warp or in the weft, or in the leather or any leather-work, the infection is an active leprosy, it is unclean. (Lev 13:52) “And he shall burn that garment, or the warp or the weft, in wool or in linen or any leather object in which the infection is, for it is an active leprosy. It is burned with fire. (Lev 13:53) “But if the priest looks and sees that the infection has not spread in the garment, or in the warp or in the weft, or in any leather object, (Lev 13:54) then the priest shall give command, and they shall wash that in which the infection is. And he shall shut it up another seven days. (Lev 13:55) “And the priest shall look at the infection after it has been washed and see, if the infection has not changed its appearance, though the infection has not spread, it is unclean, and burn it in the fire – it is eaten away, in its inside or outside. (Lev 13:56) “And if the priest shall look and see that the infection has faded after washing it, then he shall tear it out of the garment, or out of the warp, or out of the weft, or out of the leather. (Lev 13:57) “And if it is still seen in the garment, or in the warp or in the weft, or in any leather object, it is a spreading infection. Burn it with fire, that in which the infection is. (Lev 13:58) “And if you wash the garment, or the warp or the weft, or any leather object, if the infection has disappeared from it, then it shall be washed a second time, and shall be clean. (Lev 13:59) “This is the Torah (Instructions-Law) of the infection of leprosy in a garment of wool or linen, or in the warp or in the weft, or in any leather object, to pronounce it clean or to pronounce it unclean.”
Leprosy and all operations of curses are no respecters of person
(2Ki 4:42) Now a man came from Baʽal Shalishah, and brought the man of Elohim bread of the first-fruits, twenty loaves of barley bread, and newly ripened grain in his knapsack. And he said, “Give it to the people to eat.” (2Ki 4:43) And his servant said, “What? Do I set this before one hundred men?” And he said, “Give it to the people to eat. For thus said יהוה, ‘Eat and have some left over.’ ” (2Ki 4:44) and he set it before them, and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of יהוה. (2Ki 5:1) And Naʽaman, commander of the army of the sovereign of Aram, was a great man in the eyes of his master, and highly respected, because by him יהוה had given deliverance to Aram. And he was a brave man, but leprous. (2Ki 5:2) And the Arameans had gone out on raids, and had brought back captive a young girl from the land of Yisra’ĕl, and she served the wife of Naʽaman. (2Ki 5:3) And she said to her mistress, “If only my master were with the prophet who is in Shomeron! Then he would recover him of his leprosy.” (2Ki 5:4) And Naʽaman went in and reported to his master, saying, “Thus and thus spoke the girl who is from the land of Yisra’ĕl.” (2Ki 5:5) And the sovereign of Aram said, “Go, enter, and let me send a letter to the sovereign of Yisra’ĕl.” And he went and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of garments. (2Ki 5:6) And he brought the letter to the sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, which said, “And now, when this letter comes to you, see I have sent Naʽaman my servant to you, so that you shall recover him of his leprosy.” (2Ki 5:7) And it came to be, when the sovereign of Yisra’ĕl read the letter, that he tore his garments and said, “Am I Elohim, to kill and keep alive, that this man sends a man to me to recover him of his leprosy? For consider now, and see how he is seeking an occasion with me!” (2Ki 5:8) And it came to be, when Elisha the man of Elohim heard that the sovereign of Yisra’ĕl had torn his garments, that he sent to the sovereign, saying, “Why have you torn your garments? Please let him come to me, so that he knows that there is a prophet in Yisra’ĕl.”
(Please understand: in these last days we shall operate in the gifts of His Spirit and walk in His power if we do not reject the gifts available or assign them to the works of demons: (Luke 11:11) If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? (Luke 11:12) Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? (Luke 11:13) If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? (Comment: these terms- snakes and scorpions represent the powers or demons and the works of hell which Yahshua came to destroy!)
(2Ki 5:9) So Naʽaman came with his horses and chariot, and he stood at the entrance of the house of Elisha.
Simple obedience brings blessings and removal of curses!
(2Ki 5:10) And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go, and you shall wash seven times in the Yardĕn, that your flesh might be restored to you, and be clean.” (2Ki 5:11) But Naʽaman became wroth, and went away and said, “See, I said to myself, ‘He would certainly come out to me, and stand and call on the Name of יהוה his Elohim, and wave his hand over the place, and recover the leprosy.’ (2Ki 5:12) “Are not the Aḇanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Dammeseq, better than all the waters of Yisra’ĕl? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” And he turned and went away in a rage.
Sometimes a planted word (seed) can produce repentance- which brings healing
(2Ki 5:13) And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said, “My father, if the prophet had spoken to you a great matter, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you, ‘Wash, and be clean’?” (2Ki 5:14) Then he went down and dipped seven times in the Yardĕn, according to the word of the man of Elohim. And his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. (2Ki 5:15) And he returned to the man of Elohim, he and all his company, and came and stood before him and said, “See, now I know that there is no Elohim in all the earth, except in Yisra’ĕl. And now, please take a gift from your servant.” (2Ki 5:16) But he said, “As יהוה lives, before whom I stand, I do not accept it.” And he pressed on him to accept it, but he refused. (2Ki 5:17) Then Naʽaman said, “If not, please let your servant be given two mule-loads of earth, for no longer is your servant going to make a burnt offering and slaughtering to other mighty ones, but to יהוה. (2Ki 5:18) “יהוה grant forgiveness to your servant in this matter: when my master goes into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans on my hand, and I bow down in the house of Rimmon; when I bow down in the house of Rimmon, יהוה, please grant forgiveness to your servant in this matter.” (2Ki 5:19) Then he said to him, “Go in peace.” And when he had gone from him some distance,
Wealth and riches- power to bring a curse- as the LOVE of money is the root of all evil! Perhaps we should look at our own hearts and desires- where our hearts are- there is our TREASURE! Let’s get our transgressions uncovered since there is no “Hidden” sin- know this our sin will find us out- so let’s stay in a repentant mode loved one.
(2Ki 5:20) But Gĕḥazi, the servant of Elisha the man of Elohim, said to himself, “Look, my master has spared Naʽaman this Aramean, while not receiving from his hands what he brought. But as יהוה lives, I shall run after him and take whatever from him.” (2Ki 5:21) And Gĕḥazi pursued Naʽaman. And when Naʽaman saw him running after him, he came down from the chariot to meet him, and said, “Is there peace?” (2Ki 5:22) And he said, “Peace. My master has sent me, saying, ‘Look, even now two young men of the sons of the prophets have come to me from the mountains of Ephrayim. Please give them a talent of silver and two changes of garments.’ ” (2Ki 5:23) And Naʽaman said, “Please accept two talents.” And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and handed them to two of his servants. And they bare them ahead of him. (2Ki 5:24) And when he came to the high place, he took them from their hand, and stored them away in the house, and let the men go, and they went. (2Ki 5:25) And he went in and stood before his master, and Elisha said to him, “Where did you go, Gĕḥazi?” And he said, “Your servant did not go anywhere.” (2Ki 5:26) But he said to him, “Did not my heart go with you when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? Is it time to accept silver and to accept garments, and olive-trees and vineyards, and sheep and cattle, and male and female servants? (2Ki 5:27) “So let the leprosy of Naʽaman cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from him as leprous as snow.
You will never see it YHWH’s will for sickness to reign in His sons and daughters!
(Mat 8:1) And when He came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him. (Mat 8:2) And see, a leper came, and bowed before Him, saying, “Master, if you desire, you are able to make me clean.” (Mat 8:3) And stretching out His hand יהושע touched him, saying, “I desire it. Be cleansed!” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. (Mat 8:4) And יהושע said to him, “See, and mention it to no one. But go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Mosheh commanded, as a witness to them.”
My prayer for you loved one- is that we take this wonderful opportunity to fast and repent! Let’s forgive everyone that has done evil to us, cursed us, and spoken all manner of evil about us. This gives us a right standing with our Father to pray and bless others- especially those that have done wickedly in our Father’s eyes against us. Remember, if we hate or do evil against our brother or sister; Yahshua (Yeshua-Jesus) considers it MURDER- No murderers will be allowed in the Kingdom- so repentance is required- we confess our sins one to another that WE may be healed! My prayer is that we take Yahshua’s words very solemnly and obey and LIVE! Let’s make sure we repent also of words spoken in hurt or anger against others! Hallelu-YAH! May YHWH bless and direct you, provide and protect you and your loved ones- wherever they may be!
Shalom to your home loved one,
Thurston
