To Answer That Question...

I just wanted to share this...

I've been asked MANY times of the last year...what if you just don't have the money to get out of Babylon, but you believe you need to?

Well, do you still have furniture? Have you tried to sell it? Are you pinching every penny? Have you calculated the cost for your family to leave? Do you even know how much you need? What preparations have you made? Is your heart set on getting out, and being obedient to His Word?

If you are, don't you believe He will provide?

Or do you have excuses?

I don't mean to sound unfeeling, because I DO understand...REALLY I do, but could we think about this historically for a moment?

Many Jews were leaving Europe when Hilter began his persecution of the Jewish people. Some left YEARS before the doors closed, others only MONTHS or DAYS. Still others were planning to leave, but kept putting it off for some reason. Many left with only the clothes on their backs.

Those that put it off or found reasons not to leave deeply regretted it. Most died.

First, if you believe the scriptures instruct us to LEAVE Babylon, then it's only a matter of obedience. And if you KNEW you only had XX days (or whatever time frame) to do that before the doors closed, wouldn't you make every effort to get out? Even if you only left with the clothes on your back...the scriptures are clear...FLEE, SAVE YOUR LIFE.

Jeremiah 50:28 Listen! They flee and escape from the land of Baḇel, to declare in Tsiyon the vengeance of יהוה our Elohim, the vengeance of His Hĕḵal.

Jeremiah 51:6 Flee from the midst of Baḇel1, and let each one save his life! Do not be cut off in her crookedness, for this is the time of the vengeance of יהוה, the recompense He is repaying her. Footnote: 1Rev. 18:4.

For more scriptures about leaving, read all of Jeremiah 50 & 51, it instructs us to FLEE, at least 6 times.

When a house is on fire, we don't wonder around inside, we GET OUT. Even if that means losing all our wordly possessions, our life is more important.

As believers we will all have to help each other in the coming days. Selfishness has no place in our lives to begin with. There are MANY believers who would gladly open their home to strangers that have fled Babylon...

If you showed up at my door, I wouldn't turn you away. ;-)
