Relationships! On these 2 commandments hang the entire Torah and the Prophets! (Mat 22:36) “Teacher: which is the great command in the Torah?” (Mat 22:37) And יהושע said to him, “‘you shall love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with your entire mind.’ (Mat 22:38) This is the first and great command. (Mat 22:39) “And the second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Mat 22:40) On these two commands hang all the Torah and the Prophets.”

Why is this so important concerning relationships? IF you love YHWH you will obey Him from that love- you will choose to honor what He asks of you. Let’s look closely at Yahshua’s statements about what indicates love. (John 14:15) If you love me, you shall guard my commands.1 Footnote: 1See Ex. 20:6, vv. 21&23, 1 John 5:2-3, 2 John v. 6. (John 14:16) “And I shall ask the Father, and He shall give you another Helper, to stay with you forever (John 14:17) the Spirit of the Truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, for He stays with you and shall be in you. (John 14:18) “I shall not leave you orphans – I am coming to you. (John 14:19) “Yet a little while, and the world no longer sees me, but you shall see me, because I live, and you shall live. (John 14:20) “In that day you shall know that I am in my Father and you in me, and I in you. (John 14:21) He who possesses my commands and guards (keeps) them; it is he who loves me. And he who loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I shall love him and manifest myself to him.”

Obviously today’s Torah Study covers the ten WORDS (Commands) in Exodus 20. Please note as you read them that the first four commands teach us how to love YHWH Elohim the way He declares He wants to be loved. The last six commands teach us how to love our neighbor as ourselves. Actions of obedience are critical to His definition of love. So many in this day of Laodicean believers; think in the Renewed Covenant or New Testament- Yahshua did away with the commands as He taught to love one another- that is nearly funny but very sad. We should have enough sense to see how He defines love above in His own words! We should and must understand that in the BEGINNING- Yahshua was the word and is the word- YES- it was Yahshua at Mt. Sinai – He is the word that was later made flesh and dwelled among us. Never was it a graceless Father and a graceful son- Yahshua! Yahshua never disagreed with His Father but only spoke what He heard His Father speak and did what He saw His Father do. Even Noah and Moses found grace in His eyes! Most of this last day’s assembly/body of believers in Messiah has believed in a Torah less- Lawless Yahshua (Another Jesus) and have determined that grace is a license to do away with the Torah- Instructions- defined as “LAW” in KJV. What is sin? (1Jn 3:4) Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. I must assume these last day’s believers among us think these are mankind’s laws these sinners are breaking! NOPE! These are YHWH’s instruction- TORAH- “LAW” they have done away with. Let’s go to Yahshua’s words again- since this Scripture is part of our study this week- I am wondering what part of “THINK NOT” we just don’t understand! (Mat 5:17) Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets.1 I did not come to destroy but to complete. Footnote: 1The Law and the Prophets is a term used for the pre-Messianic Scriptures. (Mat 5:18) “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.1 Footnote: 1Lk. 16:17. (Mat 5:19) Question for us scholars- Is their still a Heaven and Earth? It seems to even us casual observers that there is- so the Torah and prophets is not done away with- no matter how we define Scripture!

Here’s a quick look at Pastor Least in the Kingdom! YIKES! (Grace and Mercy- Wow- they are in the kingdom apparently!)

“Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign (Kingdom) of Heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens. (Mat 5:20) “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees,1 you shall by no means enter into the reign of the heavens. Footnote: 1Mt. 15:3-9, Mk. 7:7-13, John 7:19, Acts 7:53, Rom. 2:23-27, Gal.

6:13.

Why is obedience in honoring loved ones so important to YHWH? If your spouse, parent or child said they loved you but never wanted to spend any time with you or ever did what you requested- it would not take that long to deduce that they did not really love or honor you would it? Their ACTIONS speak louder than their words. We, as the BRIDE OF MESSIAH must honor our husband just like wives are required to for their husbands and as the husband Messiah will love us as His own flesh; just like the husband is required to do for his wife. Same way with our Creator- we are required to DO the Gospel and commands of YHWH! Many say but do not DO! Let’s look at the Shem Tov Hebrew copy of Matthew and see what Yahshua taught- (Mat 23:2) saying, “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on the seat of Mosheh. (Mat 23:3) “Therefore, whatever he says (MOSES) for you you to guard, guard and do. But do not do according to their works, for they say, and do not do. (Eph 5:22) Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Master. (Eph 5:23) Because the husband is head of the wife, as also the Messiah is head of the assembly, and He is Savior of the body. (Eph 5:24) But as the assembly is subject to Messiah, so also let the wives be to their own husbands in every respect. (Eph 5:25) Husbands, love your wives, as Messiah also did love the assembly and gave Himself for it…(Eph 5:33) Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself (love here is security- taking care of her like himself- his own flesh); and the wife see that she reverence (honors-respects) her husband. Why does the Word declare this sort of method of showing love to each other. Obviously; the wife needs security and to know she is cared for and the husband needs to be honored- that is just how Yahshua created us. Not bad or wrong or lesser that the other, just different needs. When we as husbands fail as providers- and in these storms today- that is not so difficult to accomplish- so naturally the wife will try and provide for herself (The need is in her for security); and when the wife does not respect or honor her husband thinking that he must “EARN” that respect, the husband will go looking for that honor. It (The need for honor) is in him- just like Messiah was not honored in His own home town and COULD DO NO MIGHTY WORKS!

Here is the answer for our dilemmas LOVED ONES! Our need is never supplied by others- that is- we seem to want others (horizontal relationships) to do the changing and sometimes we foolishly pray- YAH change so and so- we even think and pray if our children- our boss, our husbands- our parents, our wives, our girlfriends, our boyfriends, our teachers etc. WOULD CHANGE all would be well. Loved One we cannot even change ourselves much less others. Our Heavenly Father alone can do that so our prayers need to be about obedience VERTICAL with us and the Father. IF we will obey Him vertical He can and will CHANGE US! We must humble ourselves and submit to His words. We change as He will not- He is the same yesterday, today and forever. That only leaves us to change. When we submit- forget now about horizontal relationships changing- we can only submit for ourselves- hasatan will flee and we will receive Yahshua’s peace. He has overcome this world so we can be in good cheer and FEAR NOT!

(Jas 4:4) Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with Elohim? 1 Whoever therefore intends to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of Elohim. Footnote: 1Mt. 13:22, Luke. 4:5-6, Luke. 14:33, Rom. 12:2, 1 John 2:15-17. (Jas 4:5) Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose? Does the Spirit which dwells in us intensely crave unto envy? (Jas 4:6) But He gives greater favor. Because of this He says, “Elohim resists the proud, but gives favor to the humble.”

(Jas 4:7) So then subject (Submit ourselves to His words and instructions – Torah- as this obedience is always a VERTICAL choice) yourselves to Elohim. Resist the devil1 and he shall flee from you. Footnote: 1Or adversary. (Jas 4:8) Draw near to Elohim and He shall draw near to you. Cleanse hands, sinners. And cleanse the hearts, you double-minded! (Jas 4:9) Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to dejection. (Jas 4:10) Humble yourselves in the sight of the Master, and He shall lift you up.(Jas 4:11) Brothers, do not speak against one another. He that speaks against a brother and judges his brother speaks against Torah and judges Torah. And if you judge Torah, you are not a doer of Torah but a judge. (Jas 4:12) There is one Lawgiver and Judge, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?

To summarize, we cannot fix others as that is horizontal, that is to say they are on our level and much like us; we can only submit vertically to obey the Father as He alone can change- and then only if we so choose!

Here are this Week’s Torah Scriptures: Yithro “Jethro”

Exodus 18:1-20:23(6); Isaiah 6:1-7:6; Isaiah 9:5-8; Matthew 5:1-32;

Mark Chapter 8

Signs and Wonders convert Yithro (Moses’ father-in-law) to YHWH!

(Exodus 18:1) And Yithro, the priest of Miḏyan, Mosheh’s father-in-law, heard of all that Elohim had done for Mosheh and for Yisra’ĕl His people, that יהוה had brought Yisra’ĕl out of Mitsrayim. (Exodus 18:2) And Yithro, Mosheh’s father-in-law, took Tsipporah, the wife of Mosheh – after he had sent her back, (Exodus 18:3) and her two sons, of whom the name of one was Gĕreshom, for he said, “I have been a sojourner in a foreign land,” (Exodus 18:4) and the name of the other was Eliʽezer, for he said, “The Elohim of my father was my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh.” (Exodus 18:5) Yithro, Mosheh’s father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to Mosheh in the wilderness, where he was encamped at the mountain of Elohim. (Exodus 18:6) And he had said to Mosheh, “I, your father-in-law Yithro, am coming to you with your wife and her two sons with her.” (Exodus 18:7) And Mosheh went out to meet his father-in-law, and bowed down, and kissed him. And they asked each other about their welfare, and they went into the tent. (Exodus 18:8) And Mosheh told his father-in-law all that יהוה had done to Pharaoh and to the Mitsrites for Yisra’ĕl’s sake, all the hardship that had come upon them on the way, and how יהוה had delivered them. (Exodus 18:9) And Yithro rejoiced for all the good which יהוה had done for Yisra’ĕl, whom He had delivered out of the hand of the Mitsrites. (Exodus 18:10) And Yithro said, “Blessed be יהוה, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Mitsrites and out of the hand of Pharaoh, and who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Mitsrites. (Exodus 18:11) Now I know that יהוה is greater than all the mighty ones, indeed in the matter in which they acted proudly, above them.(Exodus 18:12) Then Yithro, the father-in-law of Mosheh, brought a burnt offering and other slaughterings unto Elohim. And Aharon came with all the elders of Yisra’ĕl to eat bread with the father-in-law of Mosheh before Elohim. (Exodus 18:13) And it came to be, on the next day, that Mosheh sat to rightly rule the people. And the people stood before Mosheh from morning until evening. (Exodus 18:14) And when the father-in-law of Mosheh saw all that he did for the people, he said, “What is this that you are doing for the people? Why do you sit by yourself, and all the people stand before you from morning until evening?” (Exodus 18:15) And Mosheh said to his father-in-law, “Because the people come to me to seek Elohim. (Exodus 18:16) “When they have a matter, they come to me, and I rightly rule between one and another, and make known the laws of Elohim and His Torot.” (Exodus 18:17) And the father-in-law of Mosheh said to him, “What you are doing is not good. (Exodus 18:18) “Both you and these people with you shall certainly wear yourselves out. For the matter is too heavy for you. You are not able to do it by yourself. (Exodus 18:19) “Now listen to my voice. Let me counsel you and Elohim be with you: Stand before Elohim for the people and you shall bring the matters to Elohim. (Exodus 18:20) “And you shall enlighten them concerning the laws and the Torot, and show them the way in which they should walk and the work which they do. (Exodus 18:21) “But you yourself seek out from all the people able men, who fear Elohim, men of truth, hating unfair gain. And place these over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. (Exodus 18:22) “And they shall rightly rule the people at all times. And it shall be that they bring every great matter to you, but they themselves rightly rule every small matter. So, make it lighter for yourself, for they shall bear with you. (Exodus 18:23) “If you do this word, and Elohim shall command you, then you shall be able to stand and this entire people also go to their place in peace.” (Exodus 18:24) And Mosheh listened to the voice of his father-in-law and did all that he said. (Exodus 18:25) And Mosheh chose able men out of all Yisra’ĕl, and made them heads over the people: rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. (Exodus 18:26) And they rightly ruled the people at all times – the hard matters they brought to Mosheh, but they rightly ruled every small matter themselves. (Exodus 18:27) And Mosheh sent off his father-in-law, and he went away to his own land. (Exodus 19:1) In the third month after the children of Yisra’ĕl had come out of the land of Mitsrayim, on this day they came to the Wilderness of Sinai. (Exodus 19:2) They set out from Rephiḏim, and had come to the Wilderness of Sinai, and camped in the wilderness. So Yisra’ĕl camped there before the mountain.

Mighty Works require diligent respect and honor—OBEDIENCE!

(Exodus 19:3) And Mosheh went up to Elohim, and יהוה called to him from the mountain, saying, “This is what you are to say to the house of Yaʽaqoḇ, and declare to the children of Yisra’ĕl: (Exodus 19:4) You have seen what I did to the Mitsrites and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. (Exodus 19:5) And now, if you diligently obey my voice, and shall guard my covenant, then you shall be my treasured possession above all the peoples – for all the earth is mine(Exodus 19:6) ‘and you shall be to me a reign of priests and a set-apart nation.’ Those are the words which you are to speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl.(Exodus 19:7) And Mosheh came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which יהוה commanded him. (Exodus 19:8) And all the people answered together and said, “All that יהוה has spoken we shall do.” So Mosheh brought back the words of the people to יהוה. (Exodus 19:9) And יהוה said to Mosheh, “See, I am coming to you in the thick cloud, so that the people hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.” And Mosheh reported the words of the people to יהוה. (Exodus 19:10) And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Go to the people and set them apart today and tomorrow. And they shall wash their garments, (Exodus 19:11) and shall be prepared by the third day. For on the third day יהוה shall come down upon Mount Sinai before the eyes of all the people. (Exodus 19:12) “And you shall make a border for the people all around, saying, ‘Take heed to yourselves that you do not go up to the mountain or touch the border of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall certainly be put to death. (Exodus 19:13) ‘Not a hand is to touch it, but he shall certainly be stoned or shot with an arrow, whether man or beast, he shall not live.’ When the trumpet sounds long, let them come near the mountain.” (Exodus 19:14) And Mosheh came down from the mountain to the people and set the people apart, and they washed their garments. (Exodus 19:15) And he said to the people, “Be prepared by the third day. Do not come near a wife.”

Set Apart to A set Apart Holy Elohim!

(Exodus 19:16) And it came to be, on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain. And the sound of the ram’s horn was very loud, and all the people who were in the camp trembled. (Exodus 19:17) And Mosheh brought the people out of the camp to meet with Elohim, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. (Exodus 19:18) And Mount Sinai was in smoke, all of it, because יהוה descended upon it in fire. And its smoke went up like the smoke of a furnace, and all the mountain trembled exceedingly. (Exodus 19:19) And when the blast of the ram’s horn sounded long and became louder and louder, Mosheh spoke, and Elohim answered him by voice. (Exodus 19:20) And יהוה came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And יהוה called Mosheh to the top of the mountain, and Mosheh went up. (Exodus 19:21) And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Go down, and warn the people, lest they break through unto יהוה to see, and many of them fall. (Exodus 19:22) “And let the priests who come near יהוה set them apart too, lest יהוה break out against them.” (Exodus 19:23) And Mosheh said to יהוה, “The people are not able to come up to Mount Sinai, for you warned us, saying, ‘Make a border around the mountain and set it apart.’ ” (Exodus 19:24) And יהוה said to him, “Come, go down and then come up, you and Aharon with you. But do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to יהוה, lest He break out against them.” (Exodus 19:25) And Mosheh went down to the people and spoke to them.

TEN WORDS – Commands!

(Exodus 20:1) And Elohim spoke all these Words, saying, (Exodus 20:2) (1)I am יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery. (Exodus 20:3) You have no other mighty ones against my face. (Exodus 20:4) (2) “You do not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of that which is in the heavens above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth, (Exodus 20:5) you do not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, יהוה your Elohim am a jealous Ěl, visiting the crookedness of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, (Exodus 20:6) but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love me and guard my commands. (Exodus 20:7) (3) You do not bring1 the Name of יהוה your Elohim to naught, for יהוה does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught. Footnote: 1Or lift up, or take. (Exodus 20:8) (4) “Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart. (Exodus 20:9) “Six days you labor, and shall do all your work, (Exodus 20:10) but the seventh day is a Sabbath1 of יהוה your Elohim. You do not do any work – you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. Footnote: 1There are other Sabbaths, but this is the weekly Sabbath. (Exodus 20:11) “For in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore יהוה blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart. (Exodus 20:12) (5)Respect your father and your mother, so that your days are prolonged upon the soil which יהוה your Elohim is giving you. (Exodus 20:13) (6) You do not murder. (Exodus 20:14) (7) “You do not commit adultery. (Exodus 20:15) (8) “You do not steal. (Exodus 20:16) (9) “You do not bear false witness against your neighbor. (Exodus 20:17) (10)You do not covet your neighbor’s house you do not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, or whatever belongs to your neighbor.” (Exodus 20:18) And all the people saw the thunders, the lightning flashes, the sound of the ram’s horn, and the mountain smoking. And the people saw it, and they trembled and stood at a distance, (Exodus 20:19) and said to Mosheh, “You speak with us and we hear, but let not Elohim speak with us, lest we die.” (Exodus 20:20) And Mosheh said to the people, “Do not fear, for Elohim has come to prove you, and in order that His fear be before you, so that you do not sin.” (Exodus 20:21) So the people stood at a distance, but Mosheh drew near the thick darkness where Elohim was. (Exodus 20:22) And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Say this to the children of Yisra’ĕl: ‘You yourselves have seen that I have spoken to you from the heavens. (Exodus 20:23) ‘You do not make besides me mighty ones of silver, and you do not make mighty ones of gold for yourselves. (Exodus 20:24) ‘Make an altar of earth for me, and you shall slaughter on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your cattle. In every place where I cause my Name to be remembered I shall come to you and bless you. (Exodus 20:25) ‘And if you make me an altar of stone, do not build it of cut stone, for if you use your chisel on it, you have profaned it. (Exodus 20:26) ‘Nor do you go up by steps to my altar, lest your nakedness be exposed on it.’

I questioned to/stated our King once about this scene below- I stated it seems that would be a boring job flying around saying set apart- set apart (holy-holy) after a few million years! I really did not understand- seems that every time they fly around singing HOLY- HOLY is YHWH! They have just received new revelation about his tender mercies and infinite love, compassion and wonders!

(Note also that when we like Isaiah get in His presence we burn- as our natures are in the presence of the CONSUMING FIRE!)

(Isa 6:1) In the year that Sovereign Uzziyahu died, I saw יהוה sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the Hĕḵal. (Isa 6:2) Above it stood seraphim. Each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. (Isa 6:3) And one cried to another and said, “Set-apart, set-apart, set-apart is יהוה of hosts; all the earth is filled with His esteem!(Isa 6:4) And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. (Isa 6:5) And I said, “Woe to me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips – for my eyes have seen the sovereign, יהוה of hosts.” (Isa 6:6) And one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. (Isa 6:7) And he touched my mouth with it, and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your crookedness is taken away, and your sin is covered.” (Isa 6:8) And I heard the voice of יהוה, saying, “Whom do I send, and who would go for us?” And I said, “Here am I! Send me.(Isa 6:9) And He said, “Go, and you shall say to this people, ‘Hearing, you hear, but do not understand; and seeing, you see, but do not know.’ (Isa 6:10) “Make the heart of this people fat, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and shall turn and be healed.” (Isa 6:11) Then I said, “יהוה, until when?” And He answered, “Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, and the houses are without a man, and the land is laid waste, a ruin, (Isa 6:12) and יהוה has removed men far away, and the forsaken places be many in the midst of the land. (Isa 6:13) “But still, there is a tenth part in it, and it shall again be for a burning, like a terebinth tree and like an oak, whose stump remains when it is cut down. The set-apart seed is its stump!”

Trouble until the Peacemaker comes!

(Isa 7:1) And it came to be in the days of Aḥaz son of Yotham, son of Uzziyahu, sovereign of Yehuḏah, that Retsin sovereign of Aram and Peqaḥ son of Remalyahu, sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, went up to Yerushalayim to fight against it, but could not prevail against it. (Isa 7:2) And it was reported to the house of Dawiḏ, saying, “Aram has set up camp in Ephrayim.” And his heart and the heart of his people were moved as the trees of the forest are moved with the wind. (Isa 7:3) And יהוה said to Yeshayahu, “Go out now to meet Aḥaz, you and She’ar-Yashuḇ your son, at the end of the channel of the upper pool, on the highway of the Launderer’s Field, (Isa 7:4) and say to him, ‘Take heed, and be calm; do not fear or be faint-hearted for these two stubs of smoking firebrands, for the fierce displeasure of Retsin and Aram, and the son of Remalyahu. (Isa 7:5) ‘Because Aram, Ephrayim, and the son of Remalyahu have plotted evil against you, saying, (Isa 7:6) “Let us go up against Yehuḏah and tear it apart, and break it open for ourselves, and set a sovereign over them, the son of Taḇe’ĕl.”

Peacemaker is coming!

(Isa 9:5) For every boot of one trampling in tumult, and coat rolled in blood, shall be used for burning and fuel of fire. (Isa 9:6) For a Child shall be born unto us, a Son shall be given unto us, and the rule is on His shoulder. And His Name is called Wonder, Counselor, Strong Ěl, Father of Continuity, Prince of Peace. (Isa 9:7) Of the increase of His rule and peace there is no end, upon the throne of Dawiḏ and over His reign1, to establish it and sustain it with right-ruling and with righteousness from now on, even forever. The ardor of יהוה of hosts does this. Footnote: 1See 16:5, Ps. 2, Ps. 45:6, Mic. 5:2, Luke. 1:32-33. (Isa 9:8) יהוה sent a word against Yaʽaqoḇ, and it has fallen on Yisra’ĕl.

Obedience is better than sacrifice- seems the SPIRIT of the Torah is far more important and difficult than the LETTER of the Torah which required witnesses and evil action, whereas the Spirit of the Torah allows for judgment of the intents of the heart!

(Mat 5:21) “You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder,’ and whoever murders shall be liable to judgment. (Mat 5:22) “But I say to you that whoever is wroth with his brother without a cause shall be liable to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raka!’ shall be liable to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be liable to fire of Gehenna. (Mat 5:23) “If, then, you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother holds whatever against you, (Mat 5:24) leave your gift there before the altar, and go, first make peace with your brother, and then come and offer your gift. (Mat 5:25) “Be well-minded with your opponent, promptly, while you are on the way with him, lest your opponent deliver you to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. (Mat 5:26) “Truly, I say to you, you shall by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny. (Mat 5:27) “You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ (Mat 5:28) But I say to you that everyone looking at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Mat 5:29) “And if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. It is better for you that one of your members perish than for your entire body to be thrown into Gehenna. (Mat 5:30) “And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away from you. It is better for you that one of your members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into Gehenna. (Mat 5:31) “And it has been said, ‘Whoever puts away his wife let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ (Mat 5:32) “But I say to you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the matter of whoring,1 makes her commit adultery. And whoever marries a woman who has been put away commits adultery. Footnote: 1Mt. 19:9, Dt. 24:1.

Faith- Trust- Believing will produce MULTIPLICATION! (Mar 9:23) And יהושע said to him, “If you are able to believe, all is possible to him who believes.”

(Mar 8:1) In those days, the crowd being very great and not having any to eat, יהושע called His taught ones near and said to them, (Mar 8:2) “I have compassion on the crowd, for they have now been with me three days and do not have food to eat. (Mar 8:3) “And if I dismiss them unfed to their home, they shall faint on the way, for some of them have come from far.” (Mar 8:4) And His taught ones answered Him, “How shall anyone be able to feed these people with bread here in the desert?” (Mar 8:5) And He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven.” (Mar 8:6) And He commanded the crowd to sit down on the ground. And taking the seven loaves, giving thanks, He broke them and gave them to His taught ones to set before them. And they set them before the crowd. (Mar 8:7) And they had a few small fishes. And having blessed, He said to set them also before them. (Mar 8:8) And they ate and were satisfied, and they picked up seven large baskets of broken pieces. (Mar 8:9) And those eating were about four thousand, and He dismissed them. (Mar 8:10) And immediately entering into the boat with His taught ones, He came to the parts of Dalmanutha. (Mar 8:11) And the Pharisees came out and began to dispute with Him, seeking from Him a sign from heaven, trying Him. (Mar 8:12) And sighing deeply in His spirit He said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly, I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation.” (Mar 8:13) And leaving them, again entering into the boat, He went away to the other side. (Mar 8:14) And they had forgotten to take bread, and they did not have more than one loaf with them in the boat.

Leaven is sin- just as everything not of faith- believing YHWH is SIN! (Rom 14:23) But he, who doubts, if he eats, is condemned, because it is not of belief (Faith-trust), and all that is not of belief (Faith-trust) is sin.

(Mar 8:15) And He was warning them, saying, and “Mind! Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the leaven of Herodes.” (Mar 8:16) And they were reasoning with one another, saying, “Because we have no bread.” (Mar 8:17) And יהושע, being aware of it, said to them, “Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened? (Mar 8:18) “Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? (Mar 8:19) “When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets filled with broken pieces did you pick up?” They said to Him, “Twelve.” (Mar 8:20) “And when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets filled with broken pieces did you pick up?” And they said, “Seven.” (Mar 8:21) And He said to them, “How do you not understand?” (Mar 8:22) And He came to Bĕyth Tsaiḏa, and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. (Mar 8:23) And taking the blind man by the hand He led him out of the village. And having spit on his eyes, laying hands on him, He asked him, “Do you see at all?” (Mar 8:24) And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.” (Mar 8:25) Then He placed His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored, and saw all clearly. (Mar 8:26) And He sent him away to his home, saying, “Do not go into the village.” (Mar 8:27) And יהושע and His taught ones went out to the villages of Caesarea Philippi.

Note it is not Kefa (Peter) the Kingdom and body are built on- it is revelation knowledge from relationship with the Father!

And on the way He asked His taught ones, saying to them, “Who do men say I am?” (Mar 8:28) And they said to Him, “Yoḥanan the Immerser, and others, Ěliyahu, but others, one of the prophets.” (Mar 8:29) And He asked them, “And you, who do you, say I am?” And Kĕpha answering, said to Him, “You are the Messiah.”(Mar 8:30) And He warned them that they should speak to no one about Him. (Mar 8:31) And He began to teach them that the Son of Aḏam has to suffer much, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days to rise again. (Mar 8:32) And He was speaking about this openly. Then Kĕpha, taking Him aside, began to rebuke Him. (Mar 8:33) And turning around and seeing His taught ones, He rebuked Kĕpha, saying, “Get behind me, Satan! For your thoughts are not those of Elohim, but those of men.” (Mar 8:34) And calling near the crowd with His taught ones, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after me let him deny himself, and take up his stake, and follow me.

The “Rock” is Yahshua and His ability to restore intimate relationship with YHWH which allows revelation from the Father- hence revealed by my Father!

(Mat 16:16) And Shimʽon Kĕpha answering, said, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living Elohim.” (Mat 16:17) And יהושע answering, said to him, “Blessed are you, Shimʽon Bar-Yonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father in the heavens. (Mat 16:18) “And I also say to you that you are Kĕpha, and on this rock I shall build my assembly, and the gates of the grave shall not overcome it. (Mat 16:19) “And I shall give you the keys of the reign of the heavens, and whatever you bind1 on earth shall be having been bound1 in the heavens, and whatever you loosen1 on earth shall be having been loosened1 in the heavens.” Footnote: 1Binding and loosening is Heḇrew idiom for exercising authority (to prohibit and permit).

Here are Yahshua’s words on this matter- we must die and He MUST INCREASE! (Gal 2:20 spoken first person- want to walk in His power and love?-we must lose our person (ality)!

(Mar 8:35) For whoever desires to save his life shall lose it, but whoever loses his life for the sake of me and the Good News, he shall save it. (Mar 8:36) “For what shall it profit a man if he gains the entire world, and loses his own life? (Mar 8:37) Or what shall a man give in exchange for his life? (Mar 8:38) “For whoever is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinning generation, of him the Son of Aḏam also shall be ashamed when He comes in the esteem of His Father with the set-apart messengers (angels).”

Here’s my prayer for you and your loved ones- The words of Yahshua!

(Mat 6:7) And when praying, do not keep on babbling like the gentiles. For they think that they shall be heard for their many words. (Mat 6:8) Therefore do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. (Mat 6:9) “This, then, is the way you should pray: ‘Our Father who is in the heavens, let Your Name be set-apart, (Mat 6:10) let your reign come, let your desire be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Mat 6:11) ‘Give us today our daily bread. (Mat 6:12) And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. (Mat 6:13) ‘And do not lead us into trial,1 but deliver us from the wicked one – because Yours is the reign and the power and the esteem, forever. Amĕn.’ Footnote: 1See 26:41. (Mat 6:14) “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father shall also forgive you. (Mat 6:15) “But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither shall your Father forgive your trespasses. (Mat 6:31) “Do not worry then, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ (Mat 6:32) “For all these the gentiles seek for. And your heavenly Father knows that you need all these. (Mat 6:33) But seek first the reign of Elohim, and His righteousness, and all these matters shall be added to you. (Mat 6:34) “Do not, then, worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow shall have its own worries. Each day has enough evil of itself. Finally Loved One; remember that if we ask anything according to His WORD- we have the thing we ask for but must believe His word no matter what storms we see. These storms are sent by hasatan to get our agreement with his evil plans as Yahshua destroyed his power and works and that leaves him coming to steal the seed which is Word of LIFE planted in us that WILL PRODUCE FRUIT FOR WHICH IT WAS SENT if we feint not but take hold of our confession in the cloud of many witnesses (1Jn 5:14) and this is the boldness that we have in Him, that if we ask whatever according to His desire (will), He hears us. (1Jn 5:15) And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. WE overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony or what we speak about the storm and situation as two cannot walk together unless they are agreed- Yahshua will not follow us- we MUST agree with Him with our words loved Ones- so that is the prayer I give thanks for on your behalf this day-

Shalom to your home Loved One,

Thurston
