Torah Studies with translations
Loved One; we must review where
our study led us to last week- the importance of not fearing and the
provisions YHWH has made for us to be over comers!
Last week we reminded ourselves of the POWER
TWINS
for overcoming fear and the schemes of our enemy Please give your undivided attention today loved one, because we will
address another method of overcoming fear! (Fear comes when we trust hasatan’s power to overcome us with evil
rather than us trusting in Mighty YHWH to deliver us!) Obviously spirits of
the enemy hasatan cannot hang around when YHWH is present- just not possible!
He informs us to put on the spirit (garment)
of praise for the spirit(s) of for the spirit of heaviness- So we win by
entering His presence! That’s important for you and me, and them to know,
because many loved ones and some of us are full of fear. Many do not
understand these fiery trials are coming now and they do not recognize that by
facing them and growing spiritually we and they have been created to overcome-
but only as we learn to walk by the spirit and not the natural flesh man. Loved Ones however; will never
hear us, nor receive His overcoming power until they see us loving them. Then
they also can really fear not! That’s why
Yahshua tells us when He sees us loving our brothers and sisters, only then are
we really His disciples! We have to focus on what His promises are and stay
grounded in them. The storms are ravaging and testing all who claim to believe.
Let’s not lose our rewards; stand having done all we stand- that we might
receive the promise! Remember what Sha’ul (Paul) said- “I believed- therefore I
spoke!” Speak His words no matter what storm looks like.
Again, remember all things
are possible for YHWH, the only reason they are not possible for you
and I is our UNBELIEF! What gets rid of unbelief? PRAYER AND FASTING according to Yahshua! Let’s review again
why we can believe that statement: (Mar 9:16) And
He asked them, "What are you discussing with
them?" (Mar 9:17) And one of the crowd answered Him,
"Teacher, I brought You my son, possessed with a spirit which makes him
mute; (Mar 9:18) and whenever it seizes him, it
slams him to the ground and he foams at the mouth, and grinds his teeth and stiffens
out. I told your disciples to cast it out, and they could not do it." (Mar 9:19) And He *answered them and *said, "O unbelieving
generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you?
Bring him to me!" (Mar 9:20) They brought the boy to Him. When he saw Him,
immediately the spirit threw him into a convulsion, and falling to the ground,
he began rolling around and foaming at the mouth. (Mar 9:21) And He asked his father, "How long has this been happening to him?"
And he said, "From childhood.
(Mar 9:22) "It
has often thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But
if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us!" (Mar 9:23) And
Yahshua said to him, “‘if you can?' All things
are possible to him who believes." (Mar 9:24) Immediately the boy's father cried out and
said, "I do believe; help my unbelief.”
(Mar 9:25)
When Yahshua saw that a crowd was rapidly gathering, He rebuked the
unclean spirit, saying to it, "You deaf and mute
spirit, I command you, come out of him and do not enter him again." (Mar 9:26)
After crying out and throwing him into terrible convulsions, it came
out; and the boy became so much like a
corpse that most of them said, "He
is dead!" (Mar 9:27) But Yahshua took him by the hand and raised
him; and he got up. (Mar 9:28) When He came into the
house, His disciples began questioning Him
privately, "Why could we not drive it out?" (Looking in Matthew) (Mat 17:20) And יהושע said to them, “Because of your unbelief, for
truly, I say to you, if you have belief as a mustard seed, you shall say to
this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it shall move. And no matter
shall be impossible for you. (Mat 17:21) “But this kind does not go out except through
prayer and fasting.” So the topic is not some great demon, even the
head of all demons must bow to the name. The
problem and topic here is unbelief. We get rid of unbelief by prayer and
fasting! Prayer AND Fasting,
not prayer without fasting or fasting without prayer- THESE ARE YHWH’S POWER
TWINS! If we really care about our loved ones we will seek
YHWH’s face with prayer and fasting and quit worrying…Yahshua promises in
Revelation to throw the fearful
(worriers) into hell with the adulterers, murderers etc. Why? Because, if that
is who we become under great fiery trials we have trusted the power of hasatan
to do us harm, more than the power of YHWH to deliver us! Could this apply to you
and me? NOT IF we pray and fast and overcome!
So let’s be busy about our Father’s business and do it! Remember; Yahshua’s instructions are Hebraic
or Hebrew thought. It is not about mental assent like Greek thought. It
is about being a doer of the word and not a hearer only deceiving ourselves. It
is She’mah O’ Israel or HEAR AND OBEY!
Let’s learn to fast and pray and remove our unbelief!
Why is it so important that you and I overcome
our fears and trials?
(Rev 21:7) He that overcomes shall inherit all
things; and I will be his Elohim, and he shall be my son. (Rev 21:8) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable,
and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters,
and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire
and brimstone: which is the second death.
We must clean up and make
ourselves ready as His BRIDE! We cannot follow those of various religious
systems who are described here as this sounds a lot like modern Churchianity: (Ezek
22:26)
"Her priests have done violence to my law (Torah/Instructions) and have profaned my holy things; they have
made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught
the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from
my Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. Why are these days so
critical and we must truly repent in sackcloth and ashes so to speak? I believe
we are in the last days Laodicean age that Yahshua warned us about: (Rev 3:14) "To the angel
of the assembly in Laodicea write: The Amen, the
faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of YHWH, says this: (Rev 3:15) 'I know your
deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. (Rev 3:16) 'Because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold; I’ll
spit you out of my mouth. (Rev 3:17) 'Because you say,
"I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing," and
you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and
naked, (Rev 3:18) I advise you to buy from me gold refined by fire (faith-true riches) so that you may
become rich, and white garments (Pure and
undefiled robes of righteousness) so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your
nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve (spiritual eyes opened) to anoint your eyes so that you may see. (Rev 3:19) 'Those whom I love, I
reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. (Rev 3:20) 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my
voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he
with me. (Rev 3:21) 'He who overcomes, I
will grant to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat
down with my Father on His throne.
We are not under condemnation Loved
One- hasatan alone is condemned and he purposes to put on us- the death
and condemnation pronounced on him…
(Rom 8:1) There is, then, now no condemnation to those who are in Messiah יהושע, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according
to the Spirit.
REMEMBER
LOVED ONE- YHWH is in control and only allowing trials to determine who His
bride is. She WILL make herself ready. He came once to pay the whoring wife’s
penalty of death, took the bitter water for us, and provided the restoration of
the fallen bride- He is coming again for His bride and not the bride without
light and oil for her lamp! So rejoice again I say rejoice- we die to self that
He may increase in us! DO NOT FEAR! OUR KING IS SITTING ON THE THRONE! (Rev 3:10) 'Because you have
kept the word of my perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of
testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those
who dwell on the earth. (Rev 3:11) 'I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one
will take your crown. (Rev 3:12) 'He who overcomes,
I will make him a pillar in the temple of my Elohim, and he will not go out
from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of my Elohim, and the name of
the city of my Elohim, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from
my Elohim, and my new name. (Rev 3:13) 'He who has an ear,
let him hear what the Ruach HaKodesh says to the assemblies.' (Remember this is not a pre-tribulation
rapture, He promises to protect and use us even in the fiery furnace- so let’s
be usable!) Loved One,
who are we really? Were we really born for such a time as this? Is
this really the “End of the Age”? These
questions are being answered by unfolding events and by our testimony- that is what we say
and what we do
about these unfolding events. We shall
overcome by the Blood of the Lamb of YHWH and our Testimony or
not overcome at all. All Creation is groaning for the sons and daughters of
YHWH to manifest. Seems we will be tried by fire to see if we will walk by His Ruach (Spirit)
or not.
Okay it
is time to add the GREATEST TOOL YHWH gave us for OVERCOMING fear and all the
schemes of the enemy; this particular gift has been much maligned and attacked
by religion; doctrines of devils, and hasatan’s entire battle forces. We believers have been lied to throughout the
ages that this gift is useless, only available for a select few (of which you and I are not of course), is
passed away, or even demonic. Why was everything the enemy had assigned to
wipe out this “secret weapon” given by YHWH? Obviously, the enemy of our souls wants us
defenseless. Demonic? Hmm. Yahshua warned us to NOT assign the works of the
Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) to
demons. Let’s look closer: (Mat 12:22) Then they brought to Him one who was
demon-possessed, blind and dumb. And He healed him, so that the blind and dumb
man both spoke and saw.(Mat 12:23) And all the crowds were amazed and said, “Is
this the Son of Dawiḏ?”
(Mat 12:24)
But when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This one does not cast out demons except by Beʽelzebul, the ruler of the demons.” (Comment-
assigning the works of the Ruach HaKodesh – Holy Spirit to the work of demons) (Mat 12:25)
And יהושע knew their thoughts, and
said to them, “Every Kingdom divided against itself is
laid waste, and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand. (Mat 12:26) “And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself.
How then does his Kingdom stand? (Mat 12:27) “And if I, by Beʽelzebul, do cast out demons, by whom do your
sons cast them out? Because of this they shall be your judges. (Mat
12:28) “But
if I cast out demons by the Spirit of Elohim, then the reign of Elohim has come
upon you. (Mat 12:29) “Or how is one able
to enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the
strong man? And then he shall plunder his house. (Mat 12:30) “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not
gather with me scatters abroad. (Mat 12:31) “Because of this I
say to you, all sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy
against the Spirit shall not be forgiven men. (Mat
12:32) “And
whoever speaks a word against the Son of Aḏam, it shall be forgiven him, but whoever
speaks against the Set-apart Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in
this age or in the age to come. (Mat 12:33) “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make
the tree rotten and its fruit rotten, for a tree is known by its fruit. (Mat 12:34) “You brood of adders (Vipers)!
How are you- who are evil able to speak what is good – being wicked? For the
mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart. (Mat
12:35) “The
good man brings forth what is good from the good treasures of his heart, and
the wicked man brings forth what is wicked from the wicked treasure. (Mat 12:36) “And I say to you that for every idle (careless) word
men speak, they shall give an account of it in the Day of Judgment. (Mat 12:37) “For by your words you shall be declared righteous, and by
your words you shall be declared unrighteous (Condemned).”
Seems we might want to realign ourselves with what
Yahshua says and be very careful to not speak our own thoughts and ideas and
religion which assign YHWH’s mighty and miraculous gifts and works to hasatan
and his demons. We should not be so prideful and arrogant to consider we have
no need for this special weapon and gift of OVERCOMING. Are we so captured by
hasatan that we prefer to be “accepted” by our culture, family and friends
rather than submitting ourselves to Yah’s plans for our lives here? Choice time
loved one: Do we want to be accepted and approved by YHWH’s favor or our family
and friends? He is asking us to make the choice. We will fall on Him (The word made flesh that dwelled among us)
and die to our own person (ality) or He
will fall on us and pulverize us! (Mat 21:43) Therefore say I unto
you, the kingdom of YHWH shall be taken from you, and given to a nation
bringing forth the fruits thereof. (Mat 21:44) And whosoever shall
fall on this stone (The
Word of YHWH- Yahshua- the Chief Cornerstone) shall
be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
Okay let’s move deeper
and discover the absolute guaranteed victory gift; Praying in the Spirit or
unknown tongues- where it is guaranteed to have no known interpretation. These are unknown tongues for personal
edification or charging your spiritual battery.
How do we build up our
trust/faith and overcome fear?
(Jud 1:14) And Ḥanoḵ, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied of
these, saying, “See, יהוה comes with His myriads of
set-apart ones, (Jud 1:15) to execute judgment
on all, to punish all who are wicked among them concerning all their wicked
works which they have committed in a wicked way, and concerning all the harsh words
which wicked sinners have spoken against Him.” (Jud
1:16) These are grumblers,
complainers, who walk according to their own lusts, and their mouth speaks
proudly, admiring faces of others for the sake of gain. (Jud 1:17) But
you, beloved ones, remember the words spoken before by the emissaries of our
Master יהושע Messiah, (Jud 1:18) because they told you that there would be
mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own wicked lusts. (Jud 1:19)
These are the ones who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. (Jud 1:20) But you, beloved ones, building
yourselves up on your most set-apart belief, praying in the Set-apart (Holy)
Spirit, (Jud 1:21) keep yourselves in
the love of Elohim, looking for the compassion of our Master יהושע Messiah unto everlasting life.
Earnestly Seek His gifts- if they were demonic, had
no power to help us, or were passed away- would He ask us to earnestly seek
them? Only a Doctrine of Demons would say so…also note- this IS how you pursue
love, because this is how we know we are even praying
as we ought to be and without ceasing is now possible with this wonderful gift
available to all for our personal building up our faith and trust to be His
witnesses and produce any fruit that will actually remain after us.
(1Co 14:1) Pursue love, and earnestly seek the spiritual gifts, but rather that you
prophesy. (1Co 14:2) For he who is speaking in a (unknown) tongue does not speak to men
but to YHWH Elohim, for no man
understands, but in the Spirit he speaks secrets (Mysteries). (Comment: these mysteries are questions and things we must
learn and be downloaded answers about securing our victory that Yahshua paid
for- basically our spirit man is asking the perfect questions and YHWH is
downloading the answers, furthermore how could there be interpretation if NO
MAN UNDERSTANDS? Tongues for an assembly will always have interpretation but
that particular gift is one of the nine gifts of the Spirit which only operates
as the Spirit wills and is for edifying the Assembly.) (1Co 14:3) But
he who is prophesying speaks up building and encouragement and comfort to men. (1Co 14:4) He
who is speaking in an (unknown prayer)
tongue builds up or edifies himself, but he who is prophesying builds up the
assembly. (1Co 14:5) Now I wish you all spoke with tongues, but
rather that you might prophesy, for he who is prophesying is greater than he
who is speaking with tongues, unless he interprets, so that the assembly might
receive up-building.
By an act of our submission of our own wills we
can receive and yield to our own prayer language which no man understands! (Available to all and not an act AS THE SPIRIT WILLS as are the nine
gifts of the Spirit including Tongues with interpretation listed in 1
Corinthians Chapter 12 which are all supernatural power and revelatory gifts)
Let’s look at how we can walk in His power and become His witness as that is
the only way He has provided for us to produce fruit that remains. Yahshua
warns us to not reject this gift due to being fearful we might receive a
demon…remember Luke 10:19 as He gave us power to overcome all the power of the
enemy and trample on snakes and scorpions- (representing the demonic forces of
hasatan.
Want
to be a witness? The promise is for whosoever will submit and receive His
power!
(Act 1:8) “But you
shall receive power when the Set-apart Spirit has come upon you, and (Then and only then) you shall be my witnesses in Yerushalayim, and in all Yehuḏah and Shomeron,
and to the end of the earth.” (Act 1:9) And
having said this, while they were looking on, He was taken up, and a cloud hid
Him from their sight.
Everyone
who asks (submission to the Word and desire allows us to receive His power to
overcome fear and all the demonic realm)
(Luke 11:9) “And I say to you:
ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall
be opened to you. (Luke 11:10) “For everyone asking receives, and he who is seeking
finds, and to him who is knocking it shall be opened. (Luke 11:11) “And what father among you whose son asks for bread shall
give him a stone, or if he asks for a fish shall give him a snake instead of a fish, (Luke 11:12) or if he asks
for an egg shall give him a scorpion?
(Luke 11:13)
“If you then, being wicked, know how to give
good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father from heaven give
the Set-apart (Holy) Spirit to those asking Him!”
Yahshua is the
Baptizer in the Ruach HaKodesh!
(John 1:30) “This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a
Man who has become before me, for He was before me.’1
Footnote: 1See v. 15. (John 1:31)
“And I did not know Him, but that He might be revealed to Yisra’ĕl,
therefore I came immersing in water.” (John 1:32) And Yoḥanan
bore witness, saying, “I have seen the Spirit coming down from heaven like a
dove and remain on Him. (John 1:33) “And I did not know Him, but He who sent me
to immerse in water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit coming down and
remaining on Him, this is He who immerses (baptizes-
mikvah) in the Set-apart Spirit.’
Rivers of Living Water are the prayers that are Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit directed Unknown tongues) as they go downstream and
provide victory to every situation- even when we don’t know what to pray for as
we ought- He does and has never missed it on a prayer- so we should be smart
enough to yield our own tongues which James declares are likened to the rudder
to our ship and as a bridle is to a horse gives us our direction since no man
can tame his tongue only YHWH can and that only by our permission and yielding!
Rivers are better than a “well of salvation” as a well can produce fruit for
you and a few (Maybe a small village or household) but a river goes downstream
and produces life and victory everywhere it goes! Hallelu-YAH! Remember that in
Acts 2, THEY SPOKE (ALL of them present) as YHWH gave the utterance! You too
have to open your mouth to speak and allow Him to give the utterance- He will
not force you to yield and surrender- You are allowed to surrender or not- try
lifting up hands without wrath or doubt and yield- DON’T JUDGE SMALL
BERGINNINGS OR PARTICULAR SOUNDS OR GROANINGS- Just yield your tongue and trust
Him and ask Him to mikvah (Baptize) you to overflowing in His Spirit and His
goodness as you forgive everyone who has done evil against you- that you may
also be forgiven and receive by faith and trusting Him as HE really IS ALIVE
and will baptize you to overflowing rivers in His Ruach! Remember Loved One. He
is no respecter of persons as Kefa (Peter) stated; and as He told Jeremiah-
“You have seen correctly Jeremiah- I am watching over my word to perform it!” (Jeremiah1:12) And יהוה said to me, “You have seen
well, for I am watching over y word to do it.”
Note below these were
already believers and afterward could receive His Spirit!
(John 7:37) And on the last day, the great day of
the festival, יהושע stood and cried out, saying,
“If anyone
thirsts, let him come to me, and let him who believes in me drink. (John 7:38) “As the Scripture
said, out of His innermost shall flow rivers of
living water.”1 Footnote: 1Isa. 44:3, Jer. 2:13, Jer. 17:13, Zechariah.
14:8, Ps. 36:8,9, Prov.14:27, John 4:10, John 6:63, 1 Cor. 10:4, Rev. 7:17,
Rev. 21:6, Rev. 22:1 & 17. (John 7:39) And this He said concerning the Spirit, which those
believing in Him were about to receive, for the Set-apart Spirit was not
yet given, 1 because יהושע was not yet esteemed. Footnote:
1Ezek. 36:26-27, Joel 2:28-32, Acts 1:4-8, Acts 2:4 & 33, Acts
10:44-47, Acts 11:15-16, Eph. 5:18.
Concerning the
wonderful gift of praying in the Spirit to overcome; Yahshua showed me
something many years ago with the following analogy; “Son,
those who can read books and never do have no advantage over the person who
CANNOT read; likewise those who can pray in the Spirit and do not, have NO
ADVANTAGE over the heathen who CANNOT!”
With that understanding in our hearts and minds, we turn to this week’s
Torah Scriptures.
Here
are this week’s Torah Scriptures: Vayeshey “And he settled”
Genesis 37:1-40:23; Amos 2:6-3:8; Zechariah
3:1-4:7; Acts 7:9-16
Goodness- note how when we have dreams and visions we tend to self-exalt!
(Gen 37:1) And Yaʽaqoḇ dwelt in the land of his father’s sojournings,
in the land of Kenaʽan.
(Gen 37:2) this is the genealogy of Yaʽaqoḇ.
Yosĕph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. And
the young man was with the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father’s
wives. And Yosĕph brought an evil report of them to his father. (Gen 37:3) And
Yisra’ĕl loved Yosĕph more than all his children, because he was the son of his
old age. And he made him a long robe. (Gen 37:4) But when his brothers saw that their father
loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and were not able to speak
peaceably to him. (Gen 37:5) And Yosĕph dreamed a dream, and told it to
his brothers. So they hated him even
more. (Gen 37:6) And he said to them, “Please listen to this
dream which I have dreamed: (Gen 37:7) “See, we were binding sheaves in the midst of
the field, and see, my sheaf rose up and also stood up. And see, your sheaves
stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.” (Gen
37:8) And his brothers said to
him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Shall you indeed rule over us?” So they
hated him even more for his dreams and for his words. (Gen
37:9) And he dreamed still
another dream and related it to his brothers, and said, “See, I have dreamed
another dream, and see, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars bowed down to
me.” (Gen 37:10) And he related it to his father and his
brothers. And his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that
you have dreamed? Shall we, your mother and I and your brothers, indeed come to
bow down to the earth before you?” (Gen 37:11) And his brothers envied him, but his father
guarded the word. (Gen 37:12) And his brothers went to feed their father’s
flock in Sheḵem.
(Gen 37:13)
And Yisra’ĕl said to Yosĕph, “Are not your brothers feeding the flock
in Sheḵem?
Come, I send you to them.” So he said to him, “Here I am.” (Gen 37:14)
And he said to him, “Please go and see if it is well with your brothers
and well with the sheep, and bring back word to me.” So he sent him out of the
Valley of Ḥeḇron, and he went to Sheḵem. (Gen 37:15) And a certain man found him, and sees, he was
wandering in the field. And the man asked him, saying, “What do you seek?” (Gen 37:16)
And he said, “I am seeking my brothers. Please inform me where they are
feeding their sheep.” (Gen 37:17) And the man said, “They have left here, for I
heard them say, ‘Let us go towards Dothan.’ ” So Yosĕph went after his brothers
and found them in Dothan. (Gen 37:18) And they saw him from a distance, and before
he came near them, they plotted against him, to kill him.
When self-Exaltation is present the enemy can use
others to do much evil against us!
(Gen 37:19) And they
said to each other, “See, this master of dreams is coming! (Gen 37:20)
“Now, then, come and let us now kill him and throw him into some pit,
and shall say, ‘Some wild beast has devoured him.’ Let us then see what comes
of his dreams!” (Gen 37:21) But Re’uḇĕn heard and rescued him from their hands, and
said, “Let us not take his life.” (Gen 37:22) And Re’uḇĕn said to them, “Shed no blood. Throw him into
this pit which is in the wilderness, and do not lay a hand on him” – in order
to rescue him out of their hands, and bring him back to his father. (Gen 37:23) So
it came to be, when Yosĕph had come to his brothers, that they stripped Yosĕph
of his robe, the long robe which was on him. (Gen
37:24) And they took him and
threw him into a pit. And the pit was empty, there was no water in it. (Gen 37:25)
And they sat down to eat a meal. And they lifted their eyes and looked
and saw a company of Yishmaʽĕlites,
coming from Gilʽaḏ with their camels, bearing spices, and balm, and
myrrh, and going to take them down to Mitsrayim. (Gen
37:26) And Yehuḏah said to his brothers, “What would we gain if
we kill our brother and conceal his blood? (Gen 37:27) “Come and let us sell him to the Yishmaʽĕlites, and let not our hand be upon him, for he
is our brother, our flesh.” And his brothers listened. (Gen
37:28) And men, Miḏyanite traders passed by, so they pulled Yosĕph
up and lifted him out of the pit, and sold him to the Yishmaʽĕlites for twenty pieces of silver. And they took
Yosĕph to Mitsrayim. (Gen 37:29) And Re’uḇĕn returned to the pit, and see, Yosĕph was not
in the pit. And he tore his garments. (Gen 37:30) And he returned to his brothers and said,
“The boy is gone! And I, where am I to go?” (Gen
37:31) So they took Yosĕph’s
robe, killed a male goat, and dipped the robe in the blood, (Gen 37:32) and sent the long robe and brought it to
their father and said, “We have found this. Please look, is it the robe of your
son or not?” (Gen 37:33) And he recognized it and said, “It is my
son’s robe. An evil beast has devoured him. Yosĕph is torn, torn to pieces.” (Gen 37:34)
And Yaʽaqoḇ tore his garments, and put sackcloth on his
waist, and mourned for his son many days. (Gen 37:35) And all his sons and all his daughters arose
to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted, and he said, “Now let me go
down into the grave to my son in mourning.” So his father wept for him. (Gen 37:36)
And the Miḏanites
had sold him in Mitsrayim to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh and captain of the
guard.
How often to men without vision fall? (Pro 7:16) I have decked my bed with coverings of
tapestry, with carved works, with fine
linen of Egypt. (Pro 7:17) I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and
cinnamon. (Pro 7:18) Come; let us take our fill of love until the
morning: let us solace ourselves with loves. (Pro
7:19) For the good man (husband) is not at home, he is gone a long
journey: (Pro 7:20) He hath taken a bag of
money with him, and will come home at
the day appointed. (Pro 7:21) With her much fair speech she caused him to
yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. (Pro
7:22) He goes after her
straightway, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of
the stocks; (Pro 7:23) Till a dart strike through his liver; as a
bird hastens to the snare, and knows
not that it is for his life.
(Gen 38:1) And at that time it came to be that Yehuḏah left his brothers, and turned aside to a man,
an Aḏullamite whose name was Ḥirah. (Gen 38:2) And Yehuḏah saw there a daughter of a certain Kenaʽanite whose name was Shuwa. And he took her and
went in to her. (Gen 38:3) So she conceived and bore a son, and he
called his name Ěr. (Gen 38:4) and she
conceived again and bore a son, and she called his name Onan. (Gen 38:5) And
she conceived yet again and bore a son, and called his name Shĕlah. And he was
at Keziḇ
when she bore him. (Gen 38:6) And Yehuḏah took a wife for Ěr his first-born, and her
name was Tamar. (Gen 38:7) But Ěr, Yehuḏah’s first-born, was evil in the eyes of יהוה, and יהוה took his life. (Gen 38:8) And
Yehuḏah said to Onan, “Go in to your brother’s wife and marry
her, and rise up an heir to your brother.” (Gen 38:9) And Onan knew that the offspring would not be
his. And it came to be, when he went in to his brother’s wife that he spilled
on the ground, lest he should give an offspring to his brother. (Gen 38:10)
But what he did displeased יהוה, so He took his life too. (Gen 38:11)
Then Yehuḏah said to Tamar his
daughter-in-law, “Remain a widow in your father’s house until my son Shĕlah is
grown.” He said, “Lest he also die as his brothers did.” And Tamar went and
dwelt in her father’s house. (Gen 38:12) And after a long time the daughter of Shuwa,
Yehuḏah’s wife, died. And Yehuḏah was comforted, and went
up to his sheep-shearers at Timnah, he and his friend Ḥirah
the Aḏullamite. (Gen 38:13)
And it was reported to Tamar, saying, “See, your father-in-law is going
up to Timnah to shear his sheep.” (Gen 38:14) And she took off her widow’s garments, and
covered herself with a veil and wrapped herself, and sat at the entrance to
Ěnayim which was on the way to Timnah. For she saw that Shĕlah was grown, and
she was not given to him as a wife. (Gen 38:15) And Yehuḏah saw her, and reckoned her
for a whore, for she had covered her face. (Gen 38:16) And he turned aside to her by the way, and
said, “Please let me come in to you,” for he did not know that she was his
daughter-in-law. And she said, “What do you give me to come in to me?” (Gen 38:17)
And he said, “Let me send you a young goat from the flock.” And she
said, “Do you give me a pledge until you send it?” (Gen
38:18) So he said, “What pledge
should I give you?” And she said, “Your seal and your cord and your staff that
is in your hand.” And he gave them to her, and went in to her, and she
conceived by him. (Gen 38:19) And she arose and went away, and removed her
veil and put on the garments of her widowhood. (Gen
38:20) And Yehuḏah
sent the young goat by the hand of his friend the Aḏullamite,
to receive his pledge from the woman’s hand, but he did not find her. (Gen 38:21)
And he asked the men of that place, saying, “Where is the cult
prostitute who was beside the way to Ěnayim?” And they said, “There was no cult
prostitute in this place.” (Gen 38:22) And he returned to Yehuḏah
and said, “I have not found her. And the men of the place also said there was
no cult prostitute in this place.” (Gen 38:23) And Yehuḏah said, “Let her take them
for herself, lest we become despised, for I sent this young goat and you have
not found her.” (Gen 38:24) And it came to be, about three months after
that Yehuḏah was informed, saying,
“Tamar your daughter-in-law has whored, and see, she has conceived by whoring.”
And Yehuḏah said, “Bring her out and
let her be burned!” (Gen 38:25) When she was brought out, she sent to her
father-in-law, saying, “By the man to whom these belong, I am pregnant.” And
she said, “Please examine whose these are: the seal and the cord and the
staff.” (Gen 38:26) And Yehuḏah examined and said, “She
has been more righteous than I, because I did not give her to Shĕlah my son.”
And he never knew her again. (Gen 38:27) And it came to be, at the time for giving birth
that see, twins were in her womb. (Gen 38:28) And it came to be, when she was giving birth,
that the one put out his hand. And the midwife took a scarlet thread and bound
it on his hand, saying, “This one came out first.” (Gen
38:29) And it came to be, as he
drew back his hand that see, his brother came out! And she said, “How did you
break through? This breach be upon you!” So his name was called Perets. (Gen 38:30)
And afterward his brother came out who had the scarlet thread on his
hand. So his name was called Zeraḥ.
Removing the wood hay and
stubble that we may complete the vision YHWH has for us!
(Gen 39:1) And Yosĕph had been taken down to Mitsrayim.
And Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, a Mitsrite, bought
him from the Yishmaʽĕlites
who had taken him down there. (Gen 39:2) And it came to be that יהוה was
with Yosĕph, and he became a prosperous man, and was in the house of his master
the Mitsrite. (Gen 39:3) And his master saw that יהוה was
with him and that יהוה made all he did to prosper
in his hand. (Gen 39:4) So Yosĕph found favor in his eyes, and served
him, and he appointed him over his house, and gave into his hand that entire he
had. (Gen 39:5)
And it came to be, from the time that he appointed him over his house
and all that he had, that יהוה blessed the Mitsrite’s
house for Yosĕph’s sake. And the blessing of יהוה was
on all that he had in the house and in the field. (Gen
39:6) And he left in Yosĕph’s
hand all that he had, and he did not know what he had except for the bread
which he ate. And Yosĕph was handsome in form and appearance. (Gen 39:7) And
after these events it came to be that his master’s wife lifted up her eyes to
Yosĕph and said, “Lie with me.” (Gen 39:8) But he refused and said to his master’s wife,
“Look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has given
into my hand that entire he has. (Gen 39:9) “No one is greater in this house than I, and
he has not withheld whatever from me but you, because you are his wife. And how
shall I do this great evil and sin against Elohim?” (Gen
39:10) And it came to be, as she
spoke to Yosĕph day by day, that he did not listen to her, to lie with her, to
be with her. (Gen 39:11) And it came to be on a certain day, when
Yosĕph went into the house to do his work, and none of the men of the house was
inside, (Gen 39:12) that she caught him by his garment, saying,
“Lie with me.” But he left his garment in her hand, and fled and ran outside. (Gen 39:13)
And it came to be, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand
and fled outside, (Gen 39:14) that she called to the men of her house and
spoke to them, saying, “See, he has brought in to us a Heḇrew
to mock us. He came in to me to lie with me, and I cried out with a loud voice.
(Gen 39:15)
“And it came to be, when he heard that I lifted my voice and cried out,
that he left his garment with me, and fled and went outside.” (Gen 39:16)
And she kept his garment with her until his master came home. (Gen 39:17)
And she spoke to him these same words, saying, “The Heḇrew
servant whom you brought to us came in to me, to mock me, (Gen 39:18) so
it came to be, as I lifted my voice and cried out, that he left his garment
with me and fled outside.” (Gen 39:19) And it came to be, when his master heard the
words which his wife spoke to him, saying, “Your servant did to me according to
these words,” that his displeasure burned. (Gen 39:20) Then Yosĕph’s master took him and put him
into the prison, a place where the sovereign’s prisoners were confined. And he
was there in the prison. (Gen 39:21) But יהוה was with Yosĕph and
extended kindness to him, and He gave him favor in the eyes of the prison
warden. (Gen 39:22) And the prison warden gave into the hand of
Yosĕph all the prisoners who were in the prison, and whatever was done there
was his doing. (Gen 39:23) The prison warden did not look into any point
that was under Yosĕph’s hand, because יהוה was with him. And whatever
he did, יהוה made it prosper.
The Dreams, visions and
understanding were for YHWH’s purpose but meanwhile we grow and remove
self-exaltation as we are humbled…
(Gen 40:1) And after these events it came to be that the
cupbearer and the baker of the sovereign of Mitsrayim sinned against their
master, the sovereign of Mitsrayim. (Gen 40:2) And Pharaoh was wroth with his two officers,
the chief cupbearer and the chief baker. (Gen 40:3) So he put them in confinement in the house of
the captain of the guard, in the prison, the place where Yosĕph was a prisoner.
(Gen 40:4)
And the captain of the guard put Yosĕph in charge of them, and he served
them. So they were in confinement for some time. (Gen
40:5) Then the cupbearer and the
baker of the sovereign of Mitsrayim, who were confined in the prison, dreamed a
dream, both of them, each man’s dream in one night and each man’s dream with
its own interpretation. (Gen 40:6) And Yosĕph came in to them in the morning and
looked at them and saw that they were sad. (Gen 40:7) And he asked Pharaoh’s officers who were with
him in confinement of his master’s house, saying, “Why do you look so sad
today?” (Gen 40:8) And they said to him, “We each have dreamed a
dream, and there is no one to interpret it.” And Yosĕph said to them, “Do not
interpretations belong to Elohim? Relate them to me, please.” (Gen 40:9) So
the chief cupbearer related his dream to Yosĕph, and said to him, “See, in my
dream a vine was before me, (Gen 40:10) and in
the vine were three branches, and it was as though it budded – its blossoms
shot forth, and its clusters brought forth ripe grapes. (Gen 40:11) “And Pharaoh’s
cup was in my hand. So I took the grapes and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup,
and placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand.” (Gen 40:12) And Yosĕph said to him, “This is the
interpretation of it: The three branches are three days. (Gen 40:13)
“Yet, within three days Pharaoh is going to lift up your head and
restore you to your place, and you shall put Pharaoh’s cup in his hand
according to the former ruling, when you were his cupbearer. (Gen 40:14)
“But remember me when it is well with you, and please show kindness to
me. And mention me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this house. (Gen 40:15) “Truly
I was stolen away from the land of the Heḇrews.
And also I have done naught that they should put me into the dungeon.” (Gen 40:16)
And the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, and he said to
Yosĕph, “I also was in my dream and saw three white baskets were on my head, (Gen 40:17) and in the uppermost basket all kinds of
baked goods for Pharaoh, and the birds ate them out of the basket on my head.” (Gen 40:18)
And Yosĕph answered and said, “This is the interpretation of it: The
three baskets are three days. (Gen 40:19) “Yet, within three days Pharaoh is going to
lift off your head from you and hang you on a tree. And the birds shall eat
your flesh from you.” (Gen 40:20) And on the third day, Pharaoh’s birthday, it
came to be that he made a feast for all his servants. And he lifted up the head
of the chief cupbearer and of the chief baker among his servants, (Gen 40:21) and he restored the chief cupbearer to
his post of cupbearer again, and he placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand, (Gen 40:22) but he hanged the chief baker, as Yosĕph
had interpreted to them. (Gen 40:23) And the chief cupbearer did not remember
Yosĕph, but forgot him.
YHWH neither does nor allows done- anything on
the planet without revealing it to His servants the prophets that His people MAY
know and understand!
(Amos 2:6) Thus said יהוה,
“For three transgressions of Yisra’ĕl, and for four, I do not turn it back,
because they sell the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of sandals,
(Amos 2:7)
who crush the head of the poor ones in the dust of the earth, and turn
aside the way of the meek. And a man and his father go in to the same girl, to
defile my set-apart Name. (Amos 2:8) “And they lie down by every altar on garments
taken in pledge, and in the house of their mighty one they drink the wine of those
who have been fined. (Amos 2:9) “Yet I destroyed the Amosrite before them,
whose height was like the height of the cedars. And he was as strong as the
oaks, yet I destroyed his fruit from above and his roots from beneath. (Amos 2:10)
“And I brought you up from the land of Mitsrayim, and led you forty
years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amosrite. (Amos 2:11)
“And I rose up some of your sons as prophets, and some of your young men
as Nazirites. Not so? O you children of Yisra’ĕl?” declares יהוה. (Amos 2:12) “But you made the Nazirites drink wine, and
commanded the prophets saying, ‘Do not prophesy!’ (Amos
2:13) “See, I am weighed down by
you, as a wagon is weighed down when filled with sheaves. (Amos 2:14)
“And a place to flee shall perish from the swift, and the strong not
strengthen his power, and the mighty not save his life, (Amos 2:15) and he who handles the bow not stand, and the swift of
foot not save, nor he who rides a horse save his life, (Amos
2:16) and the bravest among the mighty flee naked, in that day,”
declares יהוה. (Amos 3:1) Hear this word that יהוה has
spoken against you, O children of Yisra’ĕl, against the entire clan which I
brought up from the land of Mitsrayim, saying, (Amos
3:2) “You alone have I known of all the clans of the earth, therefore I
punish you for all your crooked-nesses.” (Amos 3:3) Would two walk together, without having met? (Amos 3:4)
Does a lion roar in the forest, when he has no prey? Does a young lion
give forth his voice out of his den unless he has caught? (Amos 3:5)
Does a bird fall into a snare on the earth, where there is no trap for
it? Does a snare spring up from the earth, if it has not captured prey? (Amos 3:6) If
a ram’s horn is blown in a city, do the people not tremble? If there is
calamity in a city, shall not יהוה have done it? (Amos 3:7) The
Master יהוה does no matter unless He reveals His secret to His
servants the prophets. (Amos 3:8) A lion has roared! Who is not afraid? The
Master יהוה has spoken! Who would not
prophesy?
Hasatan is our enemy and we must be forgiven and out of our filthy
garments and garments made white as snow by Yahshua to wage war
(Zechariah
3:1) And he showed me Yehoshua the high priest
standing before the messenger of יהוה, and Satan standing at his
right hand to be an adversary to him.
(Zechariah 3:2)
And יהוה said to Satan, “יהוה rebuke you, Satan! יהוה who
has chosen Yerushalayim rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”
(Zechariah 3:3)
And Yehoshua was dressed in filthy garments, and was standing before the
messenger. (Zechariah 3:4) And He answered and spoke to those who stood
before Him, saying, “Remove the filthy
garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your guilt
from you, and shall put costly robes on you.” (Zechariah
3:5) And I said, “Let them put a
clean turban on his head.” Then they put a clean turban on his head, and they
put garments on him. And the messenger of יהוה
stood by. (Zechariah 3:6) And the messenger of יהוה
witnessed to Yehoshua, saying, (Zechariah 3:7)
“Thus said יהוה of hosts, ‘If you walk in
my ways, and if you guard my duty, then you shall also rule my house, and also
guard my courts. And I shall give you access among these standing here. (Zechariah 3:8)
‘Now listen, Yehoshua the high priest, you and your companions who sit
before you, for they are men of symbol. For look, I am bringing forth My
Servant – the Branch1. Footnote: 1Or Sprout. See Isa. 4:2, Isa.
11:1, Jer. 23:5, Jer. 33:15, Zechariah. 6:12. (Zechariah
3:9) ‘See the stone which I have put before Yehoshua: on one stone are
seven eyes. See, I am engraving its inscription,’ declares יהוה of hosts, ‘and I shall remove the guilt of that land
in one day. (Zechariah 3:10) ‘In
that day,’ declares יהוה of hosts, ‘you shall invite one another, under the vine
and under the fig tree.’ ” (Zechariah
4:1) and
the messenger who was speaking to me came back and woke me up as a man is
awakened from sleep. (Zechariah 4:2) And he said to me, “What do you see?” So I
said, “I have looked, and see: a lampstand all of gold with a bowl on top of it
and on the stand seven lamps with seven spouts to the seven lamps. (Zechariah 4:3)
“And two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the
other at its left.” (Zechariah 4:4) Then I responded and spoke to the messenger
who was speaking to me, saying, “What are these, my master?” (Zechariah 4:5)
And the messenger who was speaking to me answered and said to me, “Do
you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my master.” (Zechariah 4:6)
And he answered and said to me, “This is the word of יהוה to Zerubbaḇel, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ said יהוה of hosts. (Zechariah 4:7) ‘Who are you, Great Mountain, before Zerubbaḇel? A
plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Favor, favor to
it!” ’ ”
YHWH will even use famine to
draw His own into His plan
(Act 7:9) “And the ancestors,
becoming jealous, sold Yosĕph into Mitsrayim. But Elohim was with him, (Act 7:10) and delivered him out of all his
afflictions, and gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, sovereign of
Mitsrayim. And he appointed him governor over Mitsrayim and his entire house. (Act 7:11)
“Then a scarcity of food and great distress came over all the land of
Mitsrayim and Kena‘an, and our fathers found no food. (Act
7:12) “But Yaʽaqoḇ
heard that there was grain in Mitsrayim, and he sent out our fathers the first
time, (Act 7:13) and at the second time Yosĕph
was made known to his brothers, and Yosĕph’s race became known to the Pharaoh. (Act 7:14)
“And Yosĕph sent and called his father Yaʽaqoḇ
and all his relatives to him, seventy-five people. (Act
7:15) “And Yaʽaqoḇ
went down to Mitsrayim, and died, he and our fathers, (Act
7:16) and they were brought over
to Sheḵem
and laid in the tomb that Aḇraham
bought for a price of silver from the sons of Ḥamor, the father of Sheḵem.
My Prayer for you and decree Loved One, is that you and your Loved
Ones seek and receive His power and help in your time of need. Rivers of Living
Water are the prayers that are from the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit directed Unknown tongues) as they go downstream and
provide victory to every situation- even when we don’t know what to pray for as
we ought- He does and has never missed it on a prayer- so we should be smart
enough to yield our own tongues which James declares are likened to the rudder
to our ship and as a bridle is to a horse gives us our direction since no man
can tame his tongue only YHWH can and that only by our permission and yielding!
He
is no respecter of persons as Kefa (Peter) stated; and as He told Jeremiah-
“You have seen correctly Jeremiah- I am watching over my word to perform it!” (Jeremiah1:12) And יהוה said to me, “You have seen
well, for I am watching over my word to do it.”
Shalom to your home Loved One,
Thurston
Remember- yielding your tongue and praying in the Ruach WILL build up your most set-apart faith! Jude:20 Thank you from the depths of my heart for your
continued uttered and targeted prayers for Billie and me and this ministry
Loved One- they are special and like an oasis- bring forth deliverance and
life! THANK YOU!
