Fear Not Man! FEAR (respect) YHWH who can both kill and cast into eternal hell fire!

Last week we discussed the watchmen sounding the shofar worldwide! An obedient Watchman must sound the shofar (trumpet). (Eze 33:2) "Son of man, speak to the sons of your people and say to them, 'If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman, (Eze 33:3) and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows on the trumpet and warns the people, (Eze 33:4) then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head. (Eze 33:5) 'He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life. (Eze 33:6) 'But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand. We also discussed how we are to speak agreement with YHWH’s promises and not speak the facts of the 10 spies reporting the facts of the giants in the land and how it will be required that we obey! (We can speak and warn about them, but remember our Elohim is WELL ABLE to deliver us!)

(Num 20:2) Now there was no water for the congregation and they assembled against Mosheh and against Aharon. (Num 20:3) And the people contended with Mosheh and spoke, saying, “If only we had died when our brothers died before יהוה! (Num 20:4) “Why have you brought up the assembly of יהוה into this wilderness, that we and our livestock should die here? (Num 20:5) “And why have you brought us up out of Mitsrayim, to bring us to this evil place? – not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates, and there is no water to drink.”

Note the humbling on their faces before YHWH! Speak to the rock- don’t strike it!

Moses was supposed to show by example the need for speaking agreement with YHWH’s word and the power of His words for us all! (Num 20:6) Then Mosheh and Aharon went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the esteem of יהוה appeared to them. (Num 20:7) YHWH spoke to Mosheh saying, (Num 20:8) “Take the rod and assemble the congregation, you and your brother Aharon. And you shall speak to the rock before their eyes, and it shall give its water. And you shall bring water for them out of the rock and give drink to the congregation and their livestock.” (Num 20:9) And Mosheh took the rod from before יהוה as He commanded him. (Num 20:10) And Mosheh and Aharon assembled the assembly before the rock. And he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels, shall we bring water for you out of this rock?” (Num 20:11) Then Mosheh lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod. And much water came out, and the congregation and their livestock drank. (Num 20:12) But יהוה spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon, “Because you did not believe me, to set me apart in the eyes of the children of Yisra’ĕl, therefore you do not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.” (Num 20:13) These were the waters of Meriḇah, because the children of Yisra’ĕl contended with יהוה, and He was set apart among them.

False Prophets (not sent by YHWH) are usually for Profit! (None can curse what YHWH blesses; nor can one bless what YHWH has cursed-(Gen 12:1) and יהוה said to Aḇram, “Go yourself out of your land, from your relatives and from your father’s house, to a land which I show you. (Gen 12:2) “And I shall make you a great nation, and bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing! (Gen 12:3) “And I shall bless those who bless you, and curse him who curses you. And in you all the clans of the earth shall be blessed.” Additionally, even if these disobedient prophets do curse it shall not land or have power to stay: (Pro 26:2) Like a sparrow in its flitting, like a swallow in its flying, so a curse without cause does not alight.

(Num 22:2) And Balaq son of Tsippor saw all that Yisra’ĕl had done to the Amorites. (Num 22:3) And Mo’aḇ was exceedingly afraid of the people because they were many, and Mo’aḇ was in dread because of the children of Yisra’ĕl. (Num 22:4) And Mo’aḇ said to the elders of Miḏyan, “Now this company is licking up all that is around us, as an ox licks up the grass of the field.” Now Balaq son of Tsippor was sovereign of the Mo’aḇites at that time, (Num 22:5) and he sent messengers to Bilʽam son of Beʽor at Pethor, which is near the River in the land of the sons of his people, to call him, saying, “See, a people has come from Mitsrayim. See, they have covered the surface of the land, and are settling next to me! (Num 22:6) “And now, please come at once, curse this people for me, for they are too strong for me. It might be that I smite them and drive them out of the land, for I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.” (Num 22:7) And the elders of Mo’aḇ and the elders of Miḏyan left with the fees for divination in their hand, and they came to Bilʽam and spoke the words of Balaq to him. (Num 22:8) And he said to them, “Spend the night here and I shall bring back word to you, as יהוה speaks to me.” So the heads of Mo’aḇ stayed with Bilʽam. (Num 22:9) And Elohim came to Bilʽam and said, “Who are these men with you?” (Num 22:10) And Bilʽam said to Elohim, “Balaq, son of Tsippor, sovereign of Mo’aḇ, has sent to me, saying, (Num 22:11) ‘See, a people has come out of Mitsrayim and cover the surface of the land. Come now, curse them for me. It might be that I am able to fight against them and drive them out.’ ” (Num 22:12) And Elohim said to Bilʽam, “Do not go with them. You do not curse the people, for they are blessed.” (Num 22:13) And Bilʽam rose in the morning and said to the heads of Balaq, “Go back to your land, for יהוה has refused to allow me to go with you.” (Num 22:14) And the heads of Mo’aḇ arose and went to Balaq, and said, “Bilʽam refuses to come with us.”

The wicked demand their way! (But if we walk righteously- it cannot land!)

(Num 22:15) Then Balaq again sent heads, more numerous and more esteemed than they. Num 22:16) And they came to Bilʽam and said to him, “This is what Balaq son of Tsippor said: ‘Do not be withheld from coming to me, please, (Num 22:17) for I esteem you very greatly, and whatever you say to me, I do. Therefore please come, curse this people for me.’ ” (Num 22:18) And Bilʽam answered and said to the servants of Balaq, “Though Balaq were to give me his house filled with silver and gold, I am unable to go beyond the word of יהוה my Elohim, to do less or more. (Num 22:19) “And now, please, you also stay here tonight, and let me find out what more יהוה says to me.” (Num 22:20) And Elohim came to Bilʽam at night and said to him, “If the men come to call you, rise and go with them, but only the word which I speak to you that you do.” (Num 22:21) And Bilʽam rose in the morning and saddled his donkey, and went with the heads of Mo’aḇ.

Those who oppose YHWH might find themselves speaking donkey talk!

(Num 22:22) But the displeasure of Elohim burned because he went, and the Messenger (Angel) of יהוה stationed Himself in the way as an adversary against him. And he was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him. (Num 22:23) And the donkey saw the Messenger (Angel) of יהוה standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand, and the donkey turned aside out of the way and went into the field. So Bilʽam beat the donkey to turn her back onto the way. (Num 22:24) Then the Messenger of יהוה stood in a narrow passage between the vineyards, with a wall on this side and a wall on that side. (Num 22:25) And when the donkey saw the Messenger of יהוה, she pushed herself against the wall and crushed Bilʽam’s foot against the wall, so he beat her again. (Num 22:26) And the Messenger of יהוה went further, and stood in a narrow place where there was no way to turn aside, right or left. (Num 22:27) And when the donkey saw the Messenger of יהוה, she lay down under Bilʽam. So Bilʽam’s displeasure burned, and he beat the donkey with his staff. (Num 22:28) Then יהוה opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Bilʽam, “What have I done to you, that you have beaten me these three times?” (Num 22:29) And Bilʽam said to the donkey, “Because you have mocked me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for I would have killed you by now!” (Num 22:30) And the donkey said to Bilʽam, “Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever known to do so to you?” And he said, “No.” (Num 22:31) Then יהוה opened Bilʽam’s eyes, and he saw the Messenger of יהוה standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand. And he bowed his head and fell on his face.

(Num 22:32) And the Messenger of יהוה said to him, “Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? See, I have come out to stand against you, because your way is reckless before me. (Num 22:33) “And the donkey saw me and turned aside from Me these three times. If she had not turned aside from Me, I certainly would have killed you by now, and let her live.” (Num 22:34) And Bilʽam said to the Messenger of יהוה, “I have sinned, for I did not know you stood in the way against me. And now, if evil is in Your eyes, let me turn back.” (Num 22:35) And the Messenger of יהוה said to Bilʽam, “Go with the men, but only the word that I speak to you, that you speak.” Bilʽam then went with the heads of Balaq. (Num 22:36) And when Balaq heard that Bilʽam was coming, he went out to meet him at the city of Mo’aḇ, which is on the border at the Arnon, which was in the extremity of the border. (Num 22:37) And Balaq said to Bilʽam, “Did I not urgently send to you, calling for you? Why did you not come to me? Am I not able to esteem you?” (Num 22:38) And Bilʽam said to Balaq, “See, I have come to you! Now, am I at all able to say somewhat? Only the word Elohim puts in my mouth is what I speak.” (Num 22:39) And Bilʽam went with Balaq, and they came to Qiryath Ḥutsoth. (Num 22:40) And Balaq slaughtered cattle and sheep, and he sent some to Bilʽam and to the heads who were with him. (Num 22:41) And it came to be the next day that Balaq took Bilʽam and brought him up to the high places of Baʽal, and from there he saw the extremity of the camp. (Num 23:1) And Bilʽam said to Balaq, “Build seven altars for me here, and prepare seven bulls and seven rams for me here.” (Num 23:2) And Balaq did as Bilʽam had spoken, and Balaq and Bilʽam offered a bull and a ram on each altar. (Num 23:3) Bilʽam then said to Balaq, “Stand by your burnt offering, and let me go on. It might be that יהוה does come to meet me, and whatever He shows me I shall declare to you.” And he went to a bare height. (Num 23:4) And Elohim came to Bilʽam, and he said to Him, “I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered on each altar a bull and a ram.” (Num 23:5) And יהוה put a word in the mouth of Bilʽam, and said, “Return to Balaq, and this is what you say.” (Num 23:6) And he returned to him and saw him standing by his burnt offering, he and all the heads of Mo’aḇ. (Num 23:7) And he took up his proverb and said, “Balaq the sovereign of Mo’aḇ has brought me from Aram, from the mountains of the east. ‘Come, curse Yaʽaqoḇ for me, and come, rage at Yisra’ĕl!’

Great question for all today! Maybe our governments should watch and learn!

What He has blessed no man can curse as He will perform it! He does NOT lie!

(Num 23:8) “How do I curse whom Ěl has not cursed? And how do I rage at whom יהוה has not raged? (Num 23:9) “For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I observe him. Look, a people dwelling alone, not reckoning it among the nations. (Num 23:10) “Who shall count the dust of Yaʽaqoḇ, and the number of one-fourth of Yisra’ĕl? Let me die the death of the upright, and let my end be like his!” (Num 23:11) And Balaq said to Bilʽam, “What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and look, you have kept on blessing!” (Num 23:12) And he answered and said, “Should I not take heed to speak what יהוה has put in my mouth?”

These One World Governments are slow….

(Num 23:13) And Balaq said to him, “Please come with me to another place from where you see them. You only see the extremity but not all of them. Curse them for me from there.” (Num 23:14) And he took him to the field of Tsophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bull and a ram on each altar. (Num 23:15) And he said to Balaq, “Stand here by your burnt offering while I meet over there.” (Num 23:16) And יהוה came to Bilʽam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, “Go back to Balaq, and say this.” (Num 23:17) So he went to him and saw him standing by his burnt offering, and the heads of Mo’aḇ with him. And Balaq asked him, “What did יהוה say?” (Num 23:18) And he took up his proverb and said, “Rise up, Balaq, and hear! Listen to me, son of Tsippor! (Num 23:19) “Ěl is not a man, to lie; nor a son of man, to repent! Has He said, and would He not do it; or spoken, and would not confirm it? (Num 23:20) “See, I have received, to bless. And He has blessed, and I do not reverse it. (Num 23:21) “He has not looked upon wickedness in Yaʽaqoḇ, nor has He seen trouble in Yisra’ĕl. יהוה his Elohim is with him, and the shout of a Sovereign is in him. (Num 23:22) “Ěl who brought them out of Mitsrayim, is for them like the horns of a wild ox. (Num 23:23) “There is no sorcery against Yaʽaqoḇ, nor is there any divination against Yisra’ĕl. Now it is said to Yaʽaqoḇ and to Yisra’ĕl, ‘What has Ěl done!’ (Num 23:24) “Look a people rises like a lioness, and lifts itself up like a lion; it lies not down until it devours the prey, and drinks the blood of the slain.” (Num 23:25) And Balaq said to Bilʽam, “Do not curse them at all, nor bless them at all!” (Num 23:26) And Bilʽam answered and said to Balaq, “Have I not spoken to you, saying, ‘All that יהוה speaks, that I do’?” (Num 23:27) And Balaq said to Bilʽam, “Please come, let me take you to another place. It might be right in the eyes of Elohim that you curse them for me from there.” (Num 23:28) And Balaq took Bilʽam to the top of Peʽor that overlooks the wasteland. (Num 23:29) And Bilʽam said to Balaq, “Build seven alters for me here, and prepare seven bulls and seven rams for me here.” (Num 23:30) And Balaq did as Bilʽam had said, and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.

Even false Prophets may repent; hear and prophesy truth!

(Num 24:1) And when Bilʽam saw that it pleased יהוה to bless Yisra’ĕl, he did not go as at other times, to seek to use sorcery, but he set his face toward the wilderness. (Num 24:2) And Bilʽam lifted up his eyes and saw Yisra’ĕl encamped according to their tribes. And the Spirit of Elohim came upon him. (Num 24:3) And he took up his proverb and said, “The sayings of Bilʽam, son of Beʽor, and the saying of the man whose eyes are opened, (Num 24:4) the sayings of him who hears the words of Ěl, who sees the vision of the Almighty, who falls down, with eyes opened wide: (Num 24:5) “How good are your tents, O Yaʽaqoḇ, your dwellings, O Yisra’ĕl! (Num 24:6) “Like wadis that stretch out, like gardens by a river, like aloes planted by יהוה, like cedars beside waters. (Num 24:7) “He makes water flow from his buckets, and his seed is in many waters. His sovereign is higher than Aḡaḡ, and his reign is exalted. (Num 24:8) “Ěl who brought him out of Mitsrayim is for them like the horns of a wild ox; he devours nations, his enemies; and he breaks their bones, and with his arrows he smites. (Num 24:9) “He bowed down; he lay down like a lion. And, like a lion, who would rouse him? Blessed is he who blesses you, and cursed is he who curses you.” (Num 24:10) Then the displeasure of Balaq burned against Bilʽam, and he struck his hands together. Balaq then said to Bilʽam, “I summoned you to curse my enemies, and see; you have kept on blessing, these three times! (Num 24:11) “And now flee to your place. I said I would greatly esteem you, and see, יהוה has kept you back from esteem.” (Num 24:12) And Bilʽam said to Balaq, “Did I not also speak to your messengers whom you sent to me, saying, (Num 24:13) ‘If Balaq should give me his house filled with silver and gold, I am unable to go beyond the word of יהוה, to do either good or evil of my own heart. What יהוה speaks, that I speak’? (Num 24:14) “And now, see, I am going to my people. Come; let me advise you what this people are going to do to your people in the latter days.” (Num 24:15) And he took up his proverb and said, “The sayings of Bilʽam, son of Beʽor, and the saying of the man whose eyes are opened, (Num 24:16) the sayings of him who hears the words of Ěl, and knows the knowledge of the Most High, who sees the vision of the Almighty, who falls down, with eyes opened wide: (Num 24:17) “I see Him, but not now; I observe Him, but not near. A Star shall come out of Yaʽaqoḇ, and a Scepter shall rise out of Yisra’ĕl, and shall smite the corners of Mo’aḇ, and shall destroy all the sons of Shĕth. (Num 24:18) “(Num 24:19) “And out of Yaʽaqoḇ one shall rule And Eḏom shall be a possession; and Sĕʽir shall be a possession – enemies – and Yisra’ĕl is doing mightily. and destroy the remnant from Ar.” (Num 24:20) He then looked on Amalĕq, and he took up his proverb and said, “Amalĕq was first among the nations, but his latter end is to perish forever.” (Num 24:21) He then looked on the Qĕynites, and he took up his proverb and said, “Firm is your dwelling place, and your nest is set in the rock, (Num 24:22) but Qayin is to be burned. Till when does Asshur keep you captive?” (Num 24:23) And he took up his proverb and said, “Oh, who does live when Ěl does this? (Num 24:24) And ships shall come from the coast of Kittim, and they shall afflict Asshur and afflict Ěḇer, and so shall Amalĕq and he also perish.” (Num 24:25) And Bilʽam arose and left, and returned to his place. And Balaq also went his way.

Harlotry

(Num 25:1) And Yisra’ĕl dwelt in Shittim, and the people began to whore with the daughters of Mo’aḇ, (Num 25:2) and they invited the people to the slaughterings of their mighty ones, and the people ate and bowed down to their mighty ones. (Num 25:3) Thus Yisra’ĕl was joined to Baʽal Peʽor, and the displeasure of יהוה burned against Yisra’ĕl. (Num 25:4) And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Take all the leaders of the people and hang them up before יהוה, before the sun, so that the burning displeasure of יהוה turns away from Yisra’ĕl.” (Num 25:5) And Mosheh said to the judges of Yisra’ĕl, “Each one of you slay his men who were joined to Baʽal Peʽor.” (Num 25:6) And see, one of the children of Yisra’ĕl came and brought to his brothers a Miḏyanite woman before the eyes of Mosheh and before the eyes of all the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕl, who were weeping at the door of the Tent of Meeting. (Num 25:7) And when Pineḥas, son of Elʽazar, son of Aharon the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation and took a spear in his hand, (Num 25:8) and he went after the man of Yisra’ĕl into the tent and thrust both of them through, the man of Yisra’ĕl, and the woman through her belly. Thus the plague among the children of Yisra’ĕl came to a stop. (Num 25:9) And those who died in the plague were twenty-four thousand.

There are wages (payments) for unrighteousness!

(2Pe 2:9) then יהוה knows how to rescue the reverent ones from trial and to keep the unrighteous unto the day of judgment, to be punished, (2Pe 2:10) and most of all those walking after the flesh in filthy lust and despising authority – bold, headstrong, speaking evil of esteemed ones.

(2Pe 2:11) Whereas messengers (angels) who are greater in strength and power; do not bring a slanderous accusation against them before the Master. (2Pe 2:12) But these, like natural unreasoning beasts, having been born to be caught and destroyed, blaspheme that, which they do not know, shall be destroyed in their destruction, (2Pe 2:13) being about to receive the wages of unrighteousness, deeming indulgence in the day of pleasure, spots and blemishes, reveling in their own deceptions while they feast with you, (2Pe 2:14) having eyes filled with an adulteress, and unable to cease from sin, enticing unstable beings, having a heart trained in greed, children of a curse, (2Pe 2:15) having left the right way they went astray, having followed the way of Bilʽam the son of Beʽor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness, (2Pe 2:16) but he was rebuked for his transgression: a dumb donkey speaking with the voice of a man restrained the madness of the prophet. (2Pe 2:17) These are fountains without water, clouds driven by a storm, to which the blackest darkness is kept forever. (2Pe 2:18) For speaking arrogant nonsense, they entice – through the lusts of the flesh, through indecencies – the ones who have indeed escaped from those living in delusion, (2Pe 2:19) promising them freedom, though themselves being slaves of corruption – for one is a slave to whatever overcomes him.

Scattered Tribes of Israel!

(Micah 5:6) And they shall shepherd the land of Ashshur with the sword, and the land of Nimroḏ at its entrances. And He shall deliver us from Ashshur, when he comes into our land and when he treads within our borders. (Micah 5:7) And the remnant of Yaʽaqoḇ shall be in the midst of many peoples, as dew from יהוה, as showers on the grass, which do not wait for man nor delay for the sons of men. (Micah 5:8) And the remnant of Yaʽaqoḇ shall be among the gentiles, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of a forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, who, if he passes through, shall both tread down and shall tear, and there is no one to deliver. (Micah 5:9) Let your hand be lifted up against your adversaries, and all your enemies be cut off. (Micah 5:10) “And it shall be in that day,” declares יהוה, “that I shall cut off your horses out of your midst, and I shall destroy your chariots. (Micah 5:11) “And I shall cut off the cities of your land, and I shall pull down all your strongholds. (Micah 5:12) “And I shall cut off witchcrafts out of your hand, and let you have no magicians. (Micah 5:13) “And I shall cut off your carved images, and your pillars from your midst, so that you no longer bow down to the work of your hands. (Micah 5:14) “And I shall pluck your Ashĕrim out of your midst, and I shall destroy your cities. (Micah 5:15) “And I shall take vengeance in wrath and rage on the gentiles who did not obey.” (Micah 6:1) Hear now what יהוה is saying, “Arise, strive with the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice. (Micah 6:2) “Hear, O you mountains, the controversy of יהוה, and you everlasting foundations of the earth! יהוה has a controversy with His people and He shall reprove Yisra’ĕl. (Micah 6:3) “My people, what have I done to you? And how have I wearied you? Answer me, (Micah 6:4) for I brought you up from the land of Mitsrayim, and I ransomed you from the house of bondage. And I sent Mosheh, Aharon, and Miryam before you. (Micah 6:5) “My people, remember, please, what Balaq sovereign of Mo’aḇ counseled, and what Bilʽam son of Beʽor answered him, from Shittim to Gilgal, in order to know the righteousness of יהוה.” (Micah 6:6) With what shall I come before יהוה, bow myself before the high Elohim? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? (Micah 6:7) Is יהוה pleased with thousands of rams or ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my being? (Micah 6:8) He has declared to you, O man, what is good. And what does יהוה require of you but to do right, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your Elohim?

Our Deliverer is coming! Come out of her my people- or partake in her plagues.

(2Pe 2:18) For speaking arrogant nonsense, they entice – through the lusts of the flesh, through indecencies – the ones who have indeed escaped from those living in delusion, (2Pe 2:19) promising them freedom, though themselves being slaves of corruption – for one is a slave to whatever overcomes him.

Not many are wealthy and wise according to the esteem of this world.

(1Co 1:20) Where is the wise? Where is the scholar? Where is the debater of this age? Has not Elohim made foolish the wisdom of this world? (1Co 1:21) Since, in the wisdom of Elohim, the world through wisdom did not know Elohim, it pleased Elohim through the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe. (1Co 1:22) And since Yehuḏim ask a sign, and Greeks seek wisdom, (1Co 1:23) yet we proclaim Messiah impaled, to the Yehuḏim a stumbling-block and to the Greeks foolishness, (1Co 1:24) but to those who are called – both Yehuḏim and Greeks – Messiah the power of Elohim and the wisdom of Elohim. (1Co 1:25) The foolishness of Elohim is wiser than men, and the weakness of Elohim is stronger than men. (1Co 1:26) For look at your calling, brothers, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble. (1Co 1:27) But Elohim has chosen the foolish matters of the world to put to shame the wise, and Elohim has chosen the weak of the world to put to shame the strong. (1Co 1:28) And Elohim has chosen the low-born of the world and the despised, and the ones that are not, that He might bring to naught the ones that are, (1Co 1:29) so that no flesh should boast in His presence. (1Co 1:30) And of Him you are in Messiah יהושע, who became for us wisdom from Elohim, righteousness also, and set-apartness and redemption, (1Co 1:31) that, as it has been written, “He who boasts, let him boast in יהוה.” (1Ki 7:1) And Shelomoh built his own house for thirteen years, and he completed his entire house. (1Ki 7:2) And he built the house of the forest of Leḇanon. It was one hundred cubits long, and fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubits high, with four rows of cedar columns, and cedar beams on the columns. (1Ki 7:3) And it was paneled with cedar above the beams that were on forty-five columns, fifteen to a row. (1Ki 7:4) And there were windows with narrowed frames in three rows, and window was opposite window, three times.

Size of the Temple – Dwelling of YHWH Solomon built!

(1Ki 7:5) And all the doorways and doorposts had square frames. And window was opposite window, three times. (1Ki 7:6) And he made the porch of the columns, fifty cubits long and thirty cubits wide. And the porch was in front of them, and the columns and the roof was in front of them. (1Ki 7:7) And he made a hall for the throne, the Hall of Right-ruling, where he ruled. And it was paneled with cedar from floor to floor. (1Ki 7:8) And the house where he was to dwell, in the other courtyard, within the hall was of like workmanship. And Shelomoh made a house like this hall for Pharaoh’s daughter, whom he had taken. (1Ki 7:9) All these were of precious stone hewn to size, sawed with a saw, inside and out, from the foundation to the coping, and also on the outside to the great courtyard. (1Ki 7:10) And the foundation was of precious stone, large stones, stones of ten cubits and stones of eight cubits. (1Ki 7:11) And above were precious stones, hewn to size, and cedar wood. (1Ki 7:12) So the great courtyard all around had three rows of hewn stones and a row of cedar beams, as was the inner courtyard of the House of יהוה and the porch of the House. (1Ki 7:13) And Sovereign Shelomoh sent and brought Ḥiram from Tsor. (1Ki 7:14) He was the son of a widow from the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tsor, a bronze worker. And he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill in working with all kinds of bronze work. So he came to Sovereign Shelomoh and did all his work. (1Ki 7:15) And he cast two columns of bronze, each one eighteen cubits high, and a line of twelve cubits measured the circumference of each. (1Ki 7:16) And he made two capitals of cast bronze, to put on the tops of the columns – the height of one capital was five cubits, and the height of the other capital was five cubits – (1Ki 7:17) a lattice network, with wreaths of chain work, for the capitals which were on top of the columns, seven chains for one capital and seven for the other capital. (1Ki 7:18) And he made the columns, and two rows of pomegranates above the network all around to cover the capitals that were on top, and so he did for the other capital.

(1Ki 7:19) And the capitals that were on top of the columns in the hall were in the shape of lilies, four cubits. (1Ki 7:20) And there were capitals above also on the two columns, by the bulge which was next to the network. And the pomegranates were two hundred, in rows on each of the capitals all around. (1Ki 7:21) And he set up the columns by the porch of the hĕḵal. And he set up the column on the right and called its name Yaḵin, and he set up the column on the left and called its name Boʽaz. (1Ki 7:22) and on the top of the columns was lily work. Thus the work of the columns was completed. (1Ki 7:23) And he made the Sea of cast metal, ten cubits from one rim to the other, round all about, and five cubits high, and a line of thirty cubits measured around it. (1Ki 7:24) And below its rim were ornaments all around, ten to a cubit, all the way around the Sea. The ornaments were cast in two rows when it was cast. (1Ki 7:25) It stood on twelve oxen, three facing north, and three facing west, and three facing south, and three facing east. And the Sea was set upon them, and all their back parts were inward. (1Ki 7:26) And it was a handbreadth thick, and its rim was shaped like the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held two thousand baths. (1Ki 7:27) And he made ten stands of bronze, each stand was four cubits long, and four cubits wide, and three cubits high. (1Ki 7:28) And this is how the stands were made: They had side panels, and the side panels were between frames, (1Ki 7:29) and on the side panels that were between the frames were lions, oxen, and keruḇim, and a pedestal above on the frame. Below the lions and oxen were wreaths of beaten work. (1Ki 7:30) And each stand had four bronze wheels and axles of bronze, and its four feet had supports. Under the basin were cast supports beside each wreath. (1Ki 7:31) And its opening inside the crown at the top was one cubit. And the opening was round, like the work of the pedestal, one and a half cubits. And also on the opening were engravings, but the side panels were square, not round. (1Ki 7:32) And the four wheels were under the side panels, and the axles of the wheels were joined to the stand, and the height of a wheel was one and a half cubits. (1Ki 7:33) And the wheels were made like chariot wheels. Their axle pins, and their rims, and their spokes, and their hubs were all cast. (1Ki 7:34) And there were four supports at the four corners of each stand; its supports were of the stand itself. (1Ki 7:35) And on the top of the stand, half a cubit in height – round all around. And on the top of the stand, its flanges and its side panels were of the same. (1Ki 7:36) And on the plates of its flanges and on its side panels he engraved keruḇim, lions, and palm trees, according to the clear space on each, with wreaths all around. (1Ki 7:37) He made the ten stands like this: all of them were of one mould, one measure, and one shape. (1Ki 7:38) And he made ten basins of bronze; each basin contained forty baths, and each basin was four cubits, one basin on each of the ten stands. (1Ki 7:39) And he put five stands on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house, and he put the Sea on the right side of the house to the east, facing the south. (1Ki 7:40) And Ḥiram made the pots and the shovels and the bowls. And Ḥiram completed doing all the work that he was to do for Sovereign Shelomoh on the House of יהוה: (1Ki 7:41) the two columns, and the bowl-shaped capitals that were on top of the columns, and the two networks covering the two bowl-shaped capitals which were on top of the columns;

(1Ki 7:42) and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for each network to cover the two bowl-shaped capitals that were on top of the columns; (1Ki 7:43) and the ten stands, and the ten basins on the stands; (1Ki 7:44) and the one Sea, and twelve oxen under the Sea; (1Ki 7:45) and the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls. And all these utensils which Ḥiram made for Sovereign Shelomoh for the House of יהוה were of polished bronze. (1Ki 7:46) The sovereign had them cast in clay in the district of Yardĕn between Sukkoth and Tsarethan. (1Ki 7:47) And Shelomoh left all the utensils unweighed, because they were many, nor was the weight of the bronze searched out. (1Ki 7:48) So Shelomoh made all the utensils for the House of יהוה: the altar of gold, and the table of gold on which was the showbread; (1Ki 7:49) and the lampstands of refined gold, five on the right side and five on the left in front of the Speaking Place, with the flowers and the lamps and the snuffers of gold; (1Ki 7:50) and the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the ladles, and the fire holders of refined gold, and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the Most Set-apart Place, and for the doors of the house of the Hĕḵal. (1Ki 7:51) Thus all the work which Sovereign Shelomoh had done for the House of יהוה was completed. And Shelomoh brought in the set-apart items of his father Dawiḏ: the silver and the gold and the utensils, and he put them in the treasuries of the House of יהוה.

Feast of Tabernacles- Sukkot! The “Season of our Rejoicing” and the Wedding Feast!

(1Ki 8:1) Then Shelomoh assembled the elders of Yisra’ĕl and all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Yisra’ĕl, to Sovereign Shelomoh in Yerushalayim, to bring up the ark of the covenant of יהוה from the City of Dawiḏ, which is Tsiyon. (1Ki 8:2) And all the men of Yisra’ĕl assembled to Sovereign Shelomoh at the festival in the month of Ěythanim, which is the seventh month. (1Ki 8:3) And all the elders of Yisra’ĕl came, and the priests took up the ark, 1Ki 8:4) and brought up the ark of יהוה, and the Tent of Meeting, and all the set-apart utensils that were in the Tent. And the priests and the Lĕwites brought them up, (1Ki 8:5) and Sovereign Shelomoh, and all the congregation of Yisra’ĕl who had assembled with him, were with him before the ark, slaughtering so many sheep and cattle, that they could not be counted or numbered. (1Ki 8:6) And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of יהוה to its place, into the Speaking Place of the House, to the Most Set-apart Place, under the wings of the keruḇim, (1Ki 8:7) for the keruḇim spread two wings over the place of the ark, and the keruḇim covered over the ark and its poles. (1Ki 8:8) And the poles extended so that the ends of the poles were seen from the set-apart place, in front of the Speaking Place, but they were not seen from outside. And they are there to this day. (1Ki 8:9) There was naught in the ark, only the two tablets of stone which Mosheh put there at Ḥorĕḇ, where יהוה made a covenant with the children of Yisra’ĕl, when they came out of the land of Mitsrayim. (1Ki 8:10) And it came to be, when the priests came out of the Set-apart Place, that the cloud filled the House of יהוה, (1Ki 8:11) so that the priests were unable to stand and perform the service because of the cloud, for the esteem of יהוה filled the House of יהוה. (1Ki 8:12) And Shelomoh said, “יהוה has said He would dwell in the dark cloud. (1Ki 8:13) I have indeed built You an exalted house, an established place for You to dwell in forever.” (1Ki 8:14) And the sovereign turned around and blessed all the assembly of Yisra’ĕl, while all the assembly of Yisra’ĕl was standing. (1Ki 8:15) And he said, “Blessed be יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, who spoke with His mouth to my father Dawiḏ, and with His hand has filled it, saying, (1Ki 8:16) ‘Since the day I brought My people Yisra’ĕl out of Mitsrayim, I have chosen no city from any tribe of Yisra’ĕl in which to build a house for My Name to be there, but I chose Dawiḏ to be over My people Yisra’ĕl.’ (1Ki 8:17) “And it was in the heart of my father Dawiḏ to build a house for the Name of יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl. (1Ki 8:18) “But יהוה said to my father Dawiḏ, ‘Because it has been in your heart to build a house for My Name, you did well that it was in your heart. (1Ki 8:19) ‘Only, you do not build the house, but your son, who is coming from your loins, he does build the house for My Name.’ (1Ki 8:20) “Now יהוה has established His word which He spoke, and I have been raised up instead of my father Dawiḏ, and sit on the throne of Yisra’ĕl, as יהוה promised, and built a house for the Name of יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, (1Ki 8:21) and have appointed there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of יהוה which He made with our fathers, when He brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim.” (1Ki 8:22) And Shelomoh stood before the altar of יהוה in front of all the assembly of Yisra’ĕl, and spread out his hands toward the heavens, (1Ki 8:23) and said, “יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, there is no Elohim in the heavens above or on earth below like You, guarding Your covenant and kindness with Your servants who walk before You with all their heart, (1Ki 8:24) who has guarded that which You did promise Your servant Dawiḏ my father. Indeed, you have both spoken with your mouth and have filled it with Your hand, as it is this day. (1Ki 8:25) “And now, יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, guard what you promised Your servant Dawiḏ my father, saying, ‘There is not to cease a man of yours before Me, sitting on the throne of Yisra’ĕl – only, if your sons guard their way, to walk before Me as you have walked before Me.’ (1Ki 8:26) “And now, O Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, please let Your word come true which You have spoken to Your servant Dawiḏ my father. (1Ki 8:27) “For is it true: Elohim dwells on the earth? See, the heavens and the heavens of the heavens are unable to contain you, how much less this House which I have built! (1Ki 8:28) “Yet, shall you turn to the prayer of your servant and his supplication, O יהוה my Elohim, and listen to the cry and the prayer which your servant is praying before you today? (1Ki 8:29) “For your eyes to be open toward this House night and day, toward the place of which You said, ‘My Name is there,’ to listen to the prayer which your servant makes toward this place. (1Ki 8:30) “Then, shall you hear the supplication of your servant and of your people Yisra’ĕl when they pray toward this place, when you hear in your dwelling place, in the heavens? And shall you hear, and forgive? (1Ki 8:31) “If anyone sins against his neighbor, and he has lifted up an oath on him, to cause him to swear, and comes and swears before your altar in this House, (1Ki 8:32) then hear in the heavens, and act and rightly rule Your servants, declaring the wrongdoer wrong, bringing his way on his head, and declaring the righteous right by giving him according to his righteousness. (1Ki 8:33) “When Your people Yisra’ĕl are smitten before an enemy, because they have sinned against you, and they shall turn back to you and confess your Name, and pray and make supplication to you in this House, (1Ki 8:34) then hear in the heavens, and forgive the sin of Your people Yisra’ĕl, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers. (1Ki 8:35) “When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they sin against you, when they pray toward this place and confess your Name, and turn from their sin because you afflict them, (1Ki 8:36) then hear in the heavens, and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Yisra’ĕl – for you teach them the good way in which they should walk – and shall give rain on your land which you have given to your people as an inheritance. (1Ki 8:37) “When there is scarcity of food in the land; when there is pestilence, blight, mildew, locusts, grasshoppers; when their enemy distresses them in the land of their cities; any plague, any sickness, (1Ki 8:38) whatever prayer, whatever supplication made by anyone of all Your people Yisra’ĕl, each knowing the plague of his own heart, and shall spread out his hands toward this House, (1Ki 8:39) then hear in the heavens, Your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and render unto everyone according to all his ways, whose heart You know. Because you – you alone – know the hearts of all the sons of men, (1Ki 8:40) so that they fear you all the days that they live in the land which You gave to our fathers. (1Ki 8:41) “Also, concerning a foreigner, who is not of your people Yisra’ĕl, but has come from a far land for your name’s sake – (1Ki 8:42) since they hear of your great name and your strong hand and your outstretched arm – and he shall come and pray toward this House, (1Ki 8:43) hear in the heavens your dwelling place, and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to you, so that all peoples of the earth know your name and fear you, as do your people Yisra’ĕl, and know that this house which I have built is called by your name. (1Ki 8:44) “When your people go out to battle against their enemy, in the way that you send them, and they shall pray to יהוה toward the city which you have chosen and toward the House which I have built for your name, (1Ki 8:45) then shall You hear in the heavens their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause? (1Ki 8:46) “When they sin against You – for there is no one who does not sin – and You become enraged with them and give them to the enemy, and they take them captive to the land of the enemy, far or near; (1Ki 8:47) and they shall turn back unto their heart in the land where they have been taken captive, and shall turn, and make supplication to you in the land of those who took them captive, saying, ‘We have sinned and acted crookedly, we have committed wrong,’ (1Ki 8:48) and they shall turn back to you with all their heart and with all their being in the land of their enemies who led them away captive, and shall pray to you toward their land which you gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen and the House which I have built for your name, (1Ki 8:49) then shall you hear in the heavens your dwelling place their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause, (1Ki 8:50) and forgive your people who have sinned against You, and all their transgressions which they have transgressed against you? And give them compassion before those who took them captive, and they shall have compassion on them. (1Ki 8:51) ‘They are your people and your inheritance which you brought out of Mitsrayim, out of the iron furnace. (1Ki 8:52) “Let your eyes be open to the supplication of your servant and the supplication of your people Yisra’ĕl, to listen to them whenever they call to you. (1Ki 8:53) “For you have separated them unto yourself for an inheritance, out of all the peoples of the earth, as you spoke by the hand of Your servant Mosheh, when you brought our fathers out of Mitsrayim, O Master יהוה.” (1Ki 8:54) And it came to be, when Shelomoh had ended praying all this prayer and supplication to יהוה, that he rose up from before the altar of יהוה, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to the heavens. (1Ki 8:55) And he stood and blessed all the assembly of Yisra’ĕl with a loud voice, saying, (1Ki 8:56) “Blessed be יהוה, who has given rest to His people Yisra’ĕl, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good word, which He promised through His servant Mosheh. (1Ki 8:57) “יהוה our Elohim is with us as He was with our fathers – He does not leave us nor forsake us – (1Ki 8:58) to incline our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to guard His commands and His laws and His right- rulings, which He commanded our fathers. (1Ki 8:59) “And let these words of mine, with which I have made supplication before יהוה, be near יהוה our Elohim day and night, to maintain the cause of His servant and the cause of His people Yisra’ĕl, the matter of each day in its day, (1Ki 8:60) so that all the peoples of the earth might know that יהוה is Elohim, there is no one else. (1Ki 8:61) “Let your heart therefore be perfect to יהוה our Elohim, to walk in His laws and guard His commands, as at this day.” (1Ki 8:62) And the sovereign and all Yisra’ĕl with him made slaughterings before יהוה. (1Ki 8:63) And Shelomoh brought peace offerings, which he slaughtered to יהוה, twenty-two thousand bulls and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. Thus the sovereign and all the children of Yisra’ĕl dedicated the House of יהוה. (1Ki 8:64) On that day the sovereign set apart the middle of the courtyard that was in front of the House of יהוה, for there he made burnt offerings, and the grain offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar that was before יהוה was too small to contain the burnt offerings, and the grain offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings. (1Ki 8:65) And Shelomoh at that time observed the Festival, and all Yisra’ĕl with him, a great assembly from the entrance of Ḥamath to the wadi of Mitsrayim, before יהוה our Elohim, seven days and seven days – fourteen days. (1Ki 8:66) On the eighth day he sent the people away. And they blessed the sovereign, and went to their tents rejoicing and glad of heart for all the goodness that יהוה had done for His servant Dawiḏ, and for Yisra’ĕl His people.

Praise Him as we incline our hearts to Him, observe His Festivals (Starting with His Sabbath!) and walk in His ways! “When Your people Yisra’ĕl are smitten before an enemy, because they have sinned against you, and they shall turn back to you and confess your Name, and pray and make supplication to you in this House, (1Ki 8:34) then hear in the heavens, and forgive the sin of Your people Yisra’ĕl, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers. (1Ki 8:35) “When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they sin against you, when they pray toward this place and confess your Name, and turn from their sin because you afflict them, (1Ki 8:36) then hear in the heavens, and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Yisra’ĕl – for you teach them the good way in which they should walk – and shall give rain on your land which you have given to your people as an inheritance. (1Ki 8:37) “When there is scarcity of food in the land; when there is pestilence, blight, mildew, locusts, grasshoppers; when their enemy distresses them in the land of their cities; any plague, any sickness, (1Ki 8:38) whatever prayer, whatever supplication made by anyone of all Your people Yisra’ĕl, each knowing the plague of his own heart, and shall spread out his hands toward this House, (1Ki 8:39) then hear in the heavens, Your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and render unto everyone according to all his ways, whose heart You know. This is great news since these events are approaching just now; we can repent and be forgiven and restored each man individually! May YHWH bless and direct you Loved One!
