Shabbat Shalom Loved One!

You have a destiny Loved One! Over the next 7 years (Yes- starting this fall- 2010) I expect civil unrest, rockets flying in the mid east at the least, earthquakes even dividing the USA, signs in the heavens that will cause men’s hearts to fail them, nuclear devices set off in many US cities, famine and disease and even mass murder and war designed by wicked men. The love of many will grow cold. I also expect from the pattern shown us in the Bible, the LATTER RAIN of His Spirit pouring down on those of us who have heeded the call to repentance. As the EARLY RAIN Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) was poured on the last day of the Spring Feasts of the Lord (Shavuot later called Pentecost by the Greeks) at Yahshua’s first coming; the last day of the Fall Feasts of the Lord (The Last Great Day or 8th day of The Feast Tabernacles 2010) at the start of the 7 last years before His arrival which will include famine likened to Joseph’s 7 years of famine as a picture of gathering the 12 brothers (Tribes) like Yahshua is doing at His second coming! We must be free from all curses that have operated against us and allowed hasatan’s schemes to work against us. We MUST stay in YHWH’s presence! Yahshua showed me that since I have been reluctant and lax to teach on these curses (especially about tithing’s and offerings), I was putting you in grave danger of famine and lack when this world systems financial system starts to consolidate and collapse. I was a little surprised about that, so after prayer and more revelation from Him; I intend to do my part to allow you to give to widows, orphans, and the “Levites” who minister freely to you, demanding no payment, so that you realize you give freely with NO COMPULSION- since your offerings are unacceptable to YHWH and help you none if you do not give freely from your heart. It is time we turn and start walking out His plan for our lives! (Luke 16:10) "He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much- (Luke 16:11) "Therefore; if you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous wealth (mammon), who will entrust the true riches to you?(Luke 16:12) "And if you have not been faithful in the use of that which is another's, (Is the tithe and offering YHWH’s or ours- that is the “another” it is referring to) who will give you that which is your own? (Luke 16:13) "No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve YHWH and wealth." I expect true riches is the power and favor of YHWH to provide and protect you and your loved ones in these days ahead that hasatan consolidates the world systems under his power to destroy many. Let’s leave no room for curse upon us as the Scripture declares: (Pro 26:2 like a sparrow in its flitting, like a swallow in its flying, so a curse without cause does not alight. LOVED ONE, FEAR NOT- DRAW CLOSER TO YHWH! (See attachments and download for future viewing)

We must clean up and make ourselves ready as His BRIDE! We cannot follow those of various religious systems who are described here as this sounds a lot like modern Churchianity: (Eze 22:26) "Her priests have done violence to my law (Torah/Instructions) and have profaned my holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from my Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. Why are these days so critical and we must truly repent in sackcloth and ashes so to speak? I believe we are in the last days Laodicean age that Yahshua warned us about: (Rev 3:14) "To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of YHWH, says this: (Rev 3:15) 'I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. (Rev 3:16) 'Because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold; I’ll spit you out of my mouth. (Rev 3:17) 'Because you say, "I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing," and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, (Rev 3:18) I advise you to buy from me gold refined by fire (faith-true riches) so that you may become rich, and white garments (Pure and undefiled robes of righteousness) so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve (spiritual eyes opened) to anoint your eyes so that you may see. (Rev 3:19) 'Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. (Rev 3:20) 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with me. (Rev 3:21) 'He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne.

It is our destiny to seek Him with all our hearts, soul, and body and walk in His glory realm; His mercy, compassion, provision, protection and power! (Jer 29:11) ‘For I know the plans I am planning for you,’ declares יהוה, ‘plans of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and expectancy. (Jer 29:12) ‘Then you shall call on me, and shall come and pray to me, and I shall listen to you. (Jer 29:13) ‘And you shall seek me, and shall find me, when you search for me with all your heart1. Footnote: 1Dt. 4:29, Joel 2:12. (Jer 29:14) ‘And I shall be found by you,’ declares יהוה, ‘and I shall turn back your captivity, and shall gather you from all the gentiles and from all the places where I have driven you, declares יהוה. And I shall bring you back to the place from which I have exiled you.’ (Gen 13:17) "Arise, walk about the land through its length and breadth; for I will give it to you." (Eph 5:14) That is why He says, “Arise, wake up you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Messiah shall shine on you.” (Isa 60:1) “Arise and shine, for your light has come! And the esteem (glory) of יהוה has risen upon you.

Last week we talked about Blessings and Curses. After a little more in-depth study of the curse that comes on us and produces lack and poverty, I hope to look at other areas that put us under curses and a CLOSED HEAVEN! At the end of our study last week we talked about the spirit of fear, lack, and self-preservation stopping us from sharing, (Even with YHWH’s storehouse) in tithes and offerings. I have continually warned about great troubles coming; and many of us have stored foods, seeds, water filters etc. and that is good to prepare- that we may share with those that are caught unaware, but let’s guard against hoarding and not sharing. That spirit of fear is on even rich men and women as they see their “stuff” (money- food- supplies) is what will sustain them (Their God?) and practically it will for a season- but when it is gone – stolen or used up- then WHO will sustain them? Not YHWH- as He promises a curse for disobedience and not trusting and obeying Him; and even today some of us are under that curse in various areas of our lives and we need to COME OUT FROM UNDER THEM! We need to be- NO- WE MUST BE under an OPEN HEAVEN! (Rom 14:22) Do you have belief (faith)? Have it to yourself before Elohim. Blessed is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves. (Rom 14:23) But he who doubts, if he eats, is condemned, because it is not of belief (faith), and everything (all) that is not of belief (faith) is sin.

(Mal 3:8) “Would a man rob Elohim? Yet you are robbing me! But you said, ‘In what have we robbed you?’ In the tithe and the offering! (Mal 3:9) “You have cursed me with a curse, for you are robbing me, this nation, all of it! (Mal 3:10) Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, and let there be food in my house. And please prove me in this,” said יהוה of hosts, “whether I do not open for you the windows of the heavens, and shall pour out for you boundless blessing! (Mal 3:11) And I shall rebuke the devourer for you, so that it does not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor does the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” said יהוה of hosts. So; where is YHWH’s storehouse? NOT HERE :( Mat 23:14) "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees (The Scribes and Pharisees represent religious systems, and the storehouse is based on real relationship and obedience to YHWH based on hearing where to give your tithes and offerings and obeying the voice of YHWH?), hypocrites, because you devour widows' houses (Using tithes and offerings), and for a pretense you make long prayers; therefore you will receive greater condemnation.] (Mar 12:38) In His teaching He was saying: "Beware of the scribes who like to walk around in long robes, and like respectful greetings in the market places, (Mar 12:39) and chief seats in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets, (Mar 12:40) who devour widows' houses, and for appearance's sake offer long prayers; these will receive greater punishment.” (Luke 20:46) "Beware of the scribes, who like to walk around in long robes, and love respectful greetings in the market places, and chief seats in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets, (Luke 20:47) who devour widows' houses, and for appearance's sake offer long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation."

(Isa 10:1) Woe to those who enact evil statutes and to those who constantly record unjust decisions, (Isa 10:2) So as to deprive the needy of justice And rob the poor of my people of their rights, so that widows may be their spoil and that they may plunder the orphans. (Isa 10:3) Now what will you do in the day of punishment, and in the devastation which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your wealth?

Here’s the storehouse: (James 1:26) If any man thinks himself to be religious, while he bridles not his tongue but deceives his heart, this man's religion is vain.(Jas 1:27) Pure religion and undefiled before our Elohim and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted (unpolluted) from the world. (Exo 22:22) Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. (Deu 14:28) “At the end of every third year you bring out all the tithe of your increase of that year and store it up within your gates. (Deu 14:29) “And the Lĕwite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the sojourner and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates, shall come and eat and be satisfied, so that יהוה your Elohim does bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

Loved Ones, if we expect YHWH to provide for us- we must obey Him and take care of the widows and orphans around us (YES- they can be from your own house- otherwise the Scriptures would not say- provide especially those of your own house or you are worse than an unbeliever!), and the Levites or those who serve YHWH without pay from some religious system. Wherever you find them- I suspect we should all be praying about who this are- since our provision will be dependent on whether we are under a curse or not when (as) the finances of this world system are destroyed. Pray and seek His face about these matters- YHWH will direct. If we use up your seed by eating it, we are not wise! Look how He warns the priests who claim to be Levites: (Mal 2:1) “And now, O priests, this command is for you. (Mal 2:2) “If you do not hear, and if you do not take it to heart, to give esteem to my name,” said יהוה of hosts, “I shall send a curse upon you, and I shall curse your blessings. And indeed, I have cursed them, because you do not take it to heart. (Mal 2:3) “See, I shall rebuke your seed, and scatter dung before your faces, the dung of your festivals. And you shall be taken away with it. (Mal 2:4) “And you shall know that I have sent this command to you, as being my covenant with Lĕwi,” said יהוה of hosts. (Mal 2:5) My covenant with him was life and peace, and I gave them to him, to fear. And he feared me, and stood in awe of my name. (Mal 2:6) “The Torah of truth1 was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and straightness, and turned many away from crookedness. Footnote: 1Neh. 9:13.

Here He warns us all not to be cursed in our provision- Do NOT eat our seed due to a spirit of fear and lack- let’s test Him and learn to trust YHWH!

(Remember the tithe is to be given but is only accepted IF given cheerfully with a willing heart) (2Co 9:5) So I thought it necessary to appeal to the brothers to come to you in advance, and arrange your promised blessing beforehand – this to be ready as a blessing and not as greediness. (2Co 9:6) And this: He who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly, and he who sows on blessing shall also reap on blessing. (2Co 9:7) Let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not of grief or of necessity (Not burdensome or grudgingly!), for Elohim loves a joyous giver. (2Co 9:8) And Elohim is able to make all favor overflow toward you, that you, always having all you need in every way, have plenty for every good work. (2Co 9:9) As it has been written, “He scattered abroad, He gave to the poor, and His righteousness remains forever.” (2Co 9:10) And He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, shall supply and increase the seed you have sown and increase the fruit of your righteousness, (2Co 9:11) being enriched in every way for all simplicity, which works out thanksgiving to Elohim through us. (Php 4:17) Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that is multiplying to your account. (Php 4:18) Indeed I have all and more than enough. I have been filled, having received from Epaphroditos what you sent, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable offering, well-pleasing to Elohim. (Php 4:19) And my Elohim shall fill all your need according to His riches in esteem (glory) by Messiah יהושע.

(Mal 3:8) “Would a man rob Elohim? Yet you are robbing me! But you said, ‘In what have we robbed you?’ In the tithe and the offering! (Mal 3:9) “You have cursed me with a curse, for you are robbing me, this nation, all of it! (Mal 3:10) Bring all the tithes into the storehouse (The STOREHOUSE OF YHWH is where He says to give-not a religious institution- but the widows orphans and priest serving YHWH around you), and let there be food in my house. (Mal 3:12) And all nations shall call you blessed, for you shall be a land of delight,” said יהוה of hosts.

Loved Ones- we will need HIM rebuking the devourer from us and our finances and provision in these days approaching us! Let’s pray and DO as He leads and direct us while we still have light! Thanks much for your YHWH directed and targeted prayers as I minister and teach in Costa Rica! Thanks also for those of you who have determined we are good soil for your seed! You are planting your future harvest as you give cheerfully and trust YHWH for your source!

Okay, now that we have understood and decided to remove the curse that keeps away YHWH’s provision and abundance; let’s address a second area of curse upon us as the body of Messiah. The curse that is called La Shan hara: (Pro 18:6) A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calls for strokes. (Pro 18:7) A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul. (Pro 18:8) The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. (Psalm 15:1) O YHWH, who may abide in your tent? Who may dwell on your holy hill? (Psalm 15:2) The one who walks with integrity and works righteousness and speaks truth in his heart may dwell there. (Psalm 15:3) He does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend; (Pro 10:18) He who conceals hatred has lying lips, And he who spreads slander is a fool. (Pro 10:19) When there are many words, transgression is unavoidable, But he who restrains his lips is wise. (Mar 7:20) And He was saying, "That which proceeds out of the man that is what defiles the man. (Mar 7:21) "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, (Mar 7:22) deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. (Mar 7:23) "All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man." (Eph 4:30) Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of YHWH, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. (Eph 4:31) Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. (Eph 4:32) Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as YHWH in Messiah also has forgiven you. (Col 3:6) Because of these the wrath of Elohim is coming upon the sons of disobedience,1 Footnote: 1Eph. 2:2, Eph. 5:6. (Col 3:7) in which you also once walked when you lived in them. (Col 3:8) But now, also put off all these: displeasure, wrath, evil, blasphemy, filthy talk from your mouth. In the NASB- (Col 3:6) It is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience, (Col 3:7) and in them you also once walked, when you were living in them. (Col 3:8) But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth. (Psa 34:13) Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit. (Psa 34:14) Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. (Psa 34:15) The eyes of יהוה are on the righteous, And His ears unto their cry. (Psa 34:16) The face of יהוה is against evil-doers, to cut off their remembrance from the earth. (Psa 34:17) The righteous cried out, and יהוה heard, and delivered them out of all their distresses. (Psa 34:18) יהוה is near to the broken-hearted, and saves those whose spirit is crushed. (Psa 34:19) Many are the evils of the righteous1, but יהוה delivers him out of them all. Footnote: 1Ps. 71:20, 2 Tim. 3:11-12.

(1Pe 1:22) Now that you have cleansed your lives in obeying the truth through the Spirit to unfeigned brotherly love, love one another fervently with a clean heart, (1Pe 1:23) having been born again – not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible – through the living Word of Elohim, which remains forever, (1Pe 1:24) because “All flesh is as grass, and all the esteem of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, (1Pe 1:25) but the Word of Elohim remains forever.”1 And this is the Word, announced as Good News to you. Footnote: 1Isa. 40:6-8. (1Pe 2:1) Having put aside, then, all evil, and all deceit, and hypocrisies, and envyings, and all evil words (Slander), (1Pe 2:2) as newborn babies desire the unadulterated milk of the Word, in order that you grow by it, (1Pe 2:3) if indeed you have tasted that the Master is good. (1Pe 2:4) Drawing near to Him, a living Stone – rejected indeed by men, but chosen by Elohim and precious – (1Pe 2:5) you also, as living stones, are being built up, a spiritual house, a set-apart priesthood, to offer up spiritual slaughter offerings acceptable to Elohim through יהושע Messiah. (1Pe 2:12) having your behavior among the gentiles good so that when they speak against you as evil-doers, let them, by observing your good works,1 esteem Elohim in a day of visitation. Footnote: 1Mt. 5:16. (Isa 6:1) In the year that Sovereign Uzziyahu died, I saw יהוה sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the Hĕḵal (Temple).

(Isa 6:2) Above it stood seraphim. Each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. (Isa 6:3) And one cried to another and said, “Set-apart (Holy), set-apart (Holy), set-apart (Holy) is יהוה of hosts; all the earth is filled with His esteem (Glory)!” (Isa 6:4) And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. (Isa 6:5) And I said, “Woe to me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips – for my eyes have seen the sovereign, יהוה of hosts.” (Isa 6:6) And one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. (Isa 6:7) And he touched my mouth with it, and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your crookedness is taken away, and your sin is covered.”

How much more the curse comes from Heaven on those who curse our brothers and sisters in Messiah. (Gen 12:3) And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed." Who are these that are of the inheritance of Abraham who this promise is made to? (Gal 3:7) Know, then, that those who are of belief are sons of Aḇraham. (Gal 3:8) And the Scripture, having foreseen that Elohim would declare right the nations by belief (Trust and faith), announced the Good News to Aḇraham beforehand, saying, “All the nations shall be blessed in you,” (Gal 3:9) so that those who are of belief (Trust and faith) are blessed with Aḇraham, the believer. Let’s guard our tongues and speak in agreement with YHWH’s promises!

Here are our Torah Scriptures this week: Netzavim You are standing”

Deuteronomy 29:9- 31:30; Isaiah 61:10-63:9; Romans 10:1-13;

2 Kings Chapters 16, 17, and 18

Want to prosper in all you do?

(Deu 29:9) “Therefore you shall guard the words of this covenant, and do them, so that you prosper in all that you do. (Deu 29:10) “All of you are standing today before יהוה your Elohim: your leaders, your tribes, your elders and your officers, all the men of Yisra’ĕl, (Deu 29:11) your little ones, your wives, and your sojourner who is in the midst of your camp, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water, (Deu 29:12) so that you should enter into covenant with יהוה your Elohim, and into His oath, which יהוה your Elohim makes with you today, (Deu 29:13) in order to establish you today as a people for Himself, and He Himself be your Elohim, as He has spoken to you, and as He has sworn to your fathers, to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Yaʽaqoḇ. (Deu 29:14) “And not with you alone I am making this covenant and this oath, (Deu 29:15) but with him who stands here with us today before יהוה our Elohim, as well as with him who is not here with us today. (Deu 29:16) “For you know how we dwelt in the land of Mitsrayim and how we passed through the nations which you passed through, (Deu 29:17) and you saw their abominations and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were with them, (Deu 29:18) lest there should be among you a man or woman or clan or tribe, whose heart turns away today from יהוה our Elohim, to go and serve the mighty ones of these nations, lest there should be among you a root bearing bitterness or wormwood. (Deu 29:19) “And it shall be, when he hears the words of this curse that he should bless himself in his heart, saying, ‘I have peace though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart,’ in order to add drunkenness to thirst. (Deu 29:20) יהוה would not forgive him, but rather, the displeasure of יהוה and His jealousy shall burn against that man, and every curse that is written in this book shall settle on him, and יהוה shall blot out his name from under the heavens. (Deu 29:21) “And יהוה shall separate him for evil, out of all the tribes of Yisra’ĕl, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this Book of the Torah. (Deu 29:22) “And the generation to come of your children who rise up after you, and the foreigner who comes from a far land, shall say when they see the plagues of that land and the sicknesses which יהוה has sent into it: (Deu 29:23) ‘All its land is sulphur, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Seḏom and Amorah, Aḏmah and Tseḇoyim, which יהוה overthrew in His displeasure and His wrath.’ (Deu 29:24) “And all nations shall say, ‘Why has יהוה done so to this land? What does the heat of this great displeasure mean?’ (Deu 29:25) “And it shall be said, ‘Because they have forsaken the covenant of יהוה Elohim of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim. (Deu 29:26) ‘And they went and served other mighty ones and bowed themselves to them, mighty ones that they did not know and that He had not given to them, (Deu 29:27) therefore the displeasure of יהוה burned against this land, to bring on it every curse that is written in this book. (Deu 29:28) ‘And יהוה uprooted them from their land in displeasure, and in wrath, and in great rage, and cast them into another land, as it is today.’

Secrets revealed and belong to those who repent and remember His words of His Torah!

(Deu 29:29) The secret matters belong to יהוה our Elohim, but what is revealed belongs to us and to our children forever, to do all the Words of this Torah. (Deu 30:1) And it shall be, when all these words come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you shall bring them back to your heart among all the gentiles where יהוה your Elohim drives you, (Deu 30:2) and shall turn back to יהוה your Elohim and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your being, you and your children, (Deu 30:3) then יהוה your Elohim shall turn back your captivity, and shall have compassion on you, and He shall turn back and gather you from all the peoples where יהוה your Elohim has scattered you. (Deu 30:4) “If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under the heavens, from there יהוה your Elohim does gather you, and from there He does take you. (Deu 30:5) “And יהוה your Elohim shall bring you to the land which your fathers possessed and you shall possess it. And He shall do good to you, and increase you more than your fathers. (Deu 30:6) “And יהוה your Elohim shall circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed, to love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being, so that you might live, (Deu 30:7) and יהוה your Elohim shall put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. (Deu 30:8) “And you shall turn back and obey the voice of יהוה and do all His commands which I command you today. (Deu 30:9) “And יהוה your Elohim shall make you have excess in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground for good. For יהוה turns back to rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers, (Deu 30:10) if you obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim, to guard His commands and His laws which are written in this Book of the Torah, if you turn back to יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being.

Speak His Torah Instructions –HIS WORD- for it is in your mouth!

(Rom 10:8) But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” – that is, the word of belief (faith-trust that leads to DOING) which we are proclaiming: (Rom 10:9) that if you confess with your mouth the Master יהושע and believe in your heart that Elohim has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved (delivered, healed, made whole).

(Deu 30:11) “For this command which I am commanding you today, it is not too hard for you, nor is it far off. (Deu 30:12) “It is not in the heavens, to say, ‘Who shall ascend into the heavens for us, and bring it to us, and cause us to hear it, so that we do it?’ (Deu 30:13) “Nor is it beyond the sea, to say, ‘Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it to us, and cause us to hear it, so that we do it?’ (Deu 30:14) For the Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart – to do it. (Deu 30:15) “See, I have set before you today life and good, and death and evil, (Deu 30:16) in that I am commanding you today to love יהוה your Elohim, to walk in His ways, and to guard His commands, and His laws, and His right-rulings. And you shall live and increase, and יהוה your Elohim shall bless you in the land which you go to possess. (Deu 30:17) “But if your heart turns away, and you do not obey, and shall be drawn away, and shall bow down to other mighty ones and serve them, (Deu 30:18) “I have declared to you today that you shall certainly perish, you shall not prolong your days in the land which you are passing over the Yardĕn to enter and possess.

Remember every matter is settled and established by 2 or 3 witnesses!

(Deu 30:19) I have called the heavens and the earth as witnesses today against you: I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore you shall choose life, so that you live, both you and your seed, (Deu 30:20) to love יהוה your Elohim, to obey His voice, and to cling to Him – for He is your life and the length of your days – to dwell in the land which יהוה swore to your fathers, to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Yaʽaqoḇ, to give them.” (Deu 31:1) And Mosheh went and spoke these words to all Yisra’ĕl, (Deu 31:2) and he said to them, “I am one hundred and twenty years old today. I am no longer able to go out and come in. And יהוה has said to me, ‘You do not pass over this Yardĕn.’ (Deu 31:3) יהוה your Elohim Himself is passing over before you. He shall destroy these nations from before you and you possess them. Yehoshua himself is passing over before you, as יהוה has spoken. (Deu 31:4) “And יהוה shall do to them as He did to Siḥon and to Oḡ, the sovereigns of the Amorites and their land, when He destroyed them. (Deu 31:5) “And יהוה shall give them over to you, and you shall do to them according to all the command which I have commanded you. (Deu 31:6) Be strong and courageous, do not fear nor be afraid of them. For it is יהוה your Elohim who is going with you. He does not fail you nor forsake you.” (Deu 31:7) And Mosheh called Yehoshua and said to him before the eyes of all Yisra’ĕl, “Be strong and courageous, for you are going with this people to the land which יהוה has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you are to let them inherit it. (Deu 31:8) “And it is יהוה who is going before you, He Himself is with you. He does not fail you nor forsake you. Do not fear nor be discouraged.” (Deu 31:9) And Mosheh wrote this Torah and gave it to the priests, the sons of Lĕwi, who bore the ark of the covenant of יהוה, and to all the elders of Yisra’ĕl. (Deu 31:10) And Mosheh commanded them, saying, “At the end of seven years, at the appointed time, the year of release, at the Festival of Booths (Sukkot- Tabernacles- The season of our rejoicing!), (Deu 31:11) when all Yisra’ĕl comes to appear before יהוה your Elohim in the place which He chooses, read this Torah before all Yisra’ĕl in their hearing. (Deu 31:12) “Assemble the people, the men and the women and the little ones, and your sojourner who is within your gates, so that they hear, and so that they learn to fear יהוה your Elohim and guard to do all the Words of this Torah. (Deu 31:13) “And their children, who have not known it, should hear and learn to fear יהוה your Elohim as long as you live in the land you are passing over the Yardĕn to possess.” (Deu 31:14) And יהוה said to Mosheh, “See, the days have drawn near for you to die. Call Yehoshua, and present yourselves in the Tent of Meeting, so that I command him.” And Mosheh and Yehoshua went and presented themselves in the Tent of Meeting. (Deu 31:15) And יהוה appeared at the Tent in a column of a cloud, and the column of a cloud stood above the door of the Tent. (Deu 31:16) And יהוה said to Mosheh, “See, you are about to sleep with your fathers. And this people shall rise and whore after the mighty ones of the strangers of the land into the midst of which they shall enter, and forsake me and break my covenant which I have made with them. (Deu 31:17) “Then My displeasure shall burn against them in that day and I shall forsake them and hide my face from them, and they shall be consumed. And many evils and distresses shall come upon them, and it shall be said in that day, ‘Is it not because our Elohim is not in our midst that these evils have come upon us?’ (Deu 31:18) “And I shall certainly hide my face in that day, because of all the evil which they have done, for they shall turn to other mighty ones.

Song of Moses Written

(Deu 31:19) “And now write down this song for yourselves, and teach it to the children of Yisra’ĕl. Put it in their mouths, so that this song is to me for a witness against the children of Yisra’ĕl. (Deu 31:20) “And I shall bring them to the land flowing with milk and honey, of which I swore to their fathers, and they shall eat and be satisfied and be fat, then they shall turn to other mighty ones, and they shall serve them, and scorn me and break my covenant. (Deu 31:21) “And it shall be, when many evils and distresses come upon them that this song shall answer before them as a witness. For it is not to be forgotten in the mouths of their seed, for I know their thoughts which they are forming today, even before I bring them to the land of which I swore to give them.” (Deu 31:22) And Mosheh wrote this song the same day, and taught it to the children of Yisra’ĕl. (Deu 31:23) And He commanded Yehoshua son of Nun, and said, “Be strong and courageous, for you are to bring the children of Yisra’ĕl into the land of which I swore to them, and I myself am with you.” (Deu 31:24) And it came to be, when Mosheh had completed writing the Words of this Torah in a book, until their completion, (Deu 31:25) that Mosheh commanded the Lĕwites, who bore the ark of the covenant of יהוה, saying, (Deu 31:26) “Take this Book of the Torah, and you shall place it beside the ark of the covenant of יהוה your Elohim, and it shall be there as a witness against you, (Deu 31:27) for I myself know your rebellion and your stiff neck. See, while I am still alive with you today, you have been rebellious against יהוה, then how much more after my death? (Deu 31:28) “Assemble unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, so that I speak these words in their hearing and call the heavens and the earth to witness against them. (Deu 31:29) “I know that after my death you shall do very corruptly and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you. And evil shall come to you in the latter days, because you do what is evil in the eyes of יהוה, to provoke Him through the work of your hands.” (Deu 31:30) So Mosheh spoke in the hearing of all the assembly of Yisra’ĕl the words of this song till their completion:

Robes of Righteousness and Garments of Deliverance from Yahshua!

(Isa 61:10) I greatly rejoice in יהוה, my being exults in my Elohim. For He has put garments of deliverance on me, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. (Isa 61:11) For as the earth brings forth its bud, as the garden causes the seed to shoot up, so the Master יהוה causes righteousness and praise to shoot up before all the nations! (Isa 62:1) For Tsiyon’s sake I am not silent, and for Yerushalayim’s sake I do not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her deliverance as a lamp that burns. (Isa 62:2) And the nations shall see your righteousness and all sovereigns your esteem. And you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of יהוה designates. (Isa 62:3) And you shall be a crown of comeliness in the hand of יהוה, and a royal head-dress in the hand of your Elohim. (Isa 62:4) No longer are you called “Forsaken,” and no longer is your land called “Deserted.” But you shall be called “Ḥephtsiḇah,” and your land “Married,” for יהוה shall delight in you, and your land be married. (Isa 62:5) For as a young man marries a maiden, so shall your sons marry you. And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your Elohim rejoice over you. (Isa 62:6) I have set watchmen on your walls, O Yerushalayim, all the day and all the night, continually, which are not silent. You who remember יהוה, give yourselves no rest, (Isa 62:7) and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Yerushalayim a praise in the earth. (Isa 62:8) יהוה has sworn by His right hand and by the arm of His strength, “No more do I give your grain to be food for your enemies, nor do sons of the foreigner drink your new wine, for which you have labored; (Isa 62:9) but those gathering it shall eat it, and praise יהוה. And those collecting it shall drink it in my set-apart courts.” (Isa 62:10) Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Lift up a banner for the peoples! (Isa 62:11) See, יהוה has proclaimed to the end of the earth: “Say to the daughter of Tsiyon, ‘See, your deliverance has come; see, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.’ ” (Isa 62:12) And they shall be called, “The Set-apart People, the Redeemed of יהוה.” And you shall be called, “Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken.” (Isa 63:1) Who is this coming from Eḏom, with garments of glowing colors from Botsrah, who is robed in splendor, striding forward in the greatness of His strength? “It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.” (Isa 63:2) Why is there red on your raiment, and your garments like one who treads in the winepress?

Messiah Yahshua answers!

(Isa 63:3) “I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with me. And I trod them down in my displeasure, and I trampled them in my wrath. Their blood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have defiled all my raiment. (Isa 63:4) “For a day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come. (Isa 63:5) “And I looked, but there was none helping, and I was astonished that there was none upholding. So my own arm saved for me, and my wrath upheld me. (Isa 63:6) “And I trod down peoples in my displeasure, and made them drunk in my wrath, and brought down their strength to earth.” (Isa 63:7) Let me recount the kindnesses of יהוה and the praises of יהוה, according to all that יהוה has done for us, and the great goodness toward the house of Yisra’ĕl, which He has done for them according to His compassion, and according to His many kindnesses. (Isa 63:8) And He said, “They are my people, children who do not act falsely.” And He became their Savior. (Isa 63:9) In all their distress He was distressed, and the Messenger of His Presence saved them. In His love and in His compassion He redeemed them, and He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

(Rom 10:1) Truly brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to Elohim for Yisra’ĕl is for deliverance. (Rom 10:2) I bear them witness that they have an ardor for Elohim, but not according to knowledge. (Rom 10:3) For not knowing the righteousness of Elohim, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not subject themselves to1 the righteousness of Elohim. footnote: 1Or did not obey. (Rom 10:4) The Messiah is the goal1 of the ‘Torah unto righteousness’ to everyone who believes. Footnote: 1Or end purpose; not termination. (Rom 10:5) For Mosheh writes about the righteousness which is of the Torah, “The man who does these shall live by them.” (Rom 10:6) But the righteousness of belief speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who shall ascend into the heavens?’ ” – that is, to bring Messiah down; or, (Rom 10:7) “‘who shall descend into the abyss?’ ” – that is, to bring Messiah up from the dead.

Speak His word for victory and deliverance in seemingly “hopeless” situations

(Rom 10:10) For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, (Rom 10:8) but what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” – that is, the word of belief which we are proclaiming: (Rom 10:9) That if you confess with your mouth the Master יהושע (YES- His word as He IS the word so speak it- confess it!) and believe in your heart that Elohim has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved (Delivered-healed-made whole), and one confesses with the mouth, and so is saved. (Rom 10:11) Because the Scripture says, “Whoever puts his trust in Him shall not be put to shame.” (Rom 10:12) Because there is no distinction between Yehuḏite and Greek, for the same Master of all is rich to all those calling upon Him. (Rom 10:13) “Everyone who calls on the Name of יהוה shall be saved.”

Yikes Disobedient Presidents ---I mean Kings again.

(2Ki 16:1) In the seventeenth year of Peqaḥ son of Remalyahu, Aḥaz son of Yotham, sovereign of Yehuḏah, began to reign. (2Ki 16:2) Aḥaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Yerushalayim. And he did not do what was right in the eyes of יהוה his Elohim, as his father Dawiḏ had done. (2Ki 16:3) But he walked in the way of the sovereigns of Yisra’ĕl, and he also made his son pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the gentiles whom יהוה had dispossessed from before the children of Yisra’ĕl. (2Ki 16:4) And he slaughtered and burned incense on the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree. (2Ki 16:5) Then Retsin sovereign of Aram and Peqaḥ son of Remalyahu, sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, came up to Yerushalayim, to battle. And they besieged Aḥaz but were unable to overcome him. (2Ki 16:6) At that time Retsin sovereign of Aram recovered Ěylath for Aram, and drove the men of Yehuḏah from Ěylath. And the Eḏomites went to Ěylath, and have dwelt there to this day. (2Ki 16:7) And Aḥaz sent messengers to Tiḡlath-Pileser sovereign of Ashshur, saying, “I am your servant and your son. Come up and save me from the hand of the sovereign of Aram and from the hand of the sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, who are rising up against me.” (2Ki 16:8) And Aḥaz took the silver and gold that was found in the House of יהוה, and in the treasuries of the house of the sovereign, and sent it as a present to the sovereign of Ashshur. (2Ki 16:9) And the sovereign of Ashshur listened to him. And the sovereign of Ashshur went up against Dammeseq and captured it, and exiled it to Qir, and he killed Retsin. (2Ki 16:10) And Sovereign Aḥaz went to meet Tiḡlath-Pileser sovereign of Ashshur at Dummeseq, and saw an altar that was at Dammaseq. And Sovereign Aḥaz sent to Uriyah the priest a sketch of the altar and its pattern, according to all its workmanship. (2Ki 16:11) And Uriyah the priest built an altar according to all that Sovereign Aḥaz had sent from Dammeseq. And Uriyah the priest made it before Sovereign Aḥaz came from Dammeseq. (2Ki 16:12) And when the sovereign came from Dammeseq, the sovereign saw the altar, and the sovereign approached the altar and made offerings on it. (2Ki 16:13) And he burned his burnt offering and his grain offering. And he poured his drink offering and sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings on the altar. (2Ki 16:14) And the bronze altar which was before יהוה he brought from the front of the House, from between the new altar and the House of יהוה, and put it on the north side of his altar. (2Ki 16:15) And Sovereign Aḥaz commanded Uriyah the priest, saying, “On the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening grain offering, and the sovereign’s burnt offering, and his grain offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their grain offering, and their drink offerings. And sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering and all the blood of the slaughtering. And the bronze altar is for me to inquire by.” (2Ki 16:16) And Uriyah the priest did according to all that Sovereign Aḥaz commanded. (2Ki 16:17) And Sovereign Aḥaz cut off the side panels of the stands, and removed the basins from them. And he took down the Sea from the bronze oxen that were under it, and put it on a pavement of stones. (2Ki 16:18) And the covered way which they had built in the House for the Sabbath, and the sovereign’s outer entrance, he took from the House of יהוה, because of the sovereign of Ashshur. (2Ki 16:19) And the rest of the acts of Aḥaz which he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the sovereigns of Yehuḏah? (2Ki 16:20) So Aḥaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the City of Dawiḏ. And Ḥizqiyahu his son reigned in his place.

Which will it be Mr. President; Blessings or Curses? Choose wisely- Mr. King!

(2Ki 17:1) In the twelfth year of Aḥaz sovereign of Yehuḏah, Hoshĕa son of Ělah began to reign over Yisra’ĕl in Shomeron, for nine years. (2Ki 17:2) And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, but not as the sovereigns of Yisra’ĕl who were before him. (2Ki 17:3) Shalmaneser sovereign of Ashshur came up against him. And Hoshĕa became his servant, and rendered him a present. (2Ki 17:4) But the sovereign of Ashshur found a conspiracy in Hoshĕa, for he had sent messengers to So, the sovereign of Mitsrayim, and had not brought a present to the sovereign of Ashshur, as year by year. And the sovereign of Ashshur shut him up, and bound him in prison. (2Ki 17:5) And the sovereign of Ashshur went through all the land, and went up to Shomeron and besieged it for three years. (2Ki 17:6) In the ninth year of Hoshĕa, the sovereign of Ashshur captured Shomeron and exiled Yisra’ĕl to Ashshur, and settled them in Ḥalaḥ and Ḥaḇor, the River of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes. (2Ki 17:7) Now this came to be because the children of Yisra’ĕl had sinned against יהוה their Elohim – who had brought them up out of the land of Mitsrayim, from under the hand of Pharaoh sovereign of Mitsrayim – and feared other mighty ones, (2Ki 17:8) and walked in the laws of the gentiles whom יהוה had dispossessed from before the children of Yisra’ĕl, and of the sovereigns of Yisra’ĕl that they had made. (2Ki 17:9) And the children of Yisra’ĕl secretly did against יהוה their Elohim matters that were not right, and they built for themselves high places in all their cities, from watchtower unto the walled city, (2Ki 17:10) and set up for themselves pillars and Ashĕrim on every high hill and under every green tree, (2Ki 17:11) and burned incense there on all the high places, like the gentiles whom יהוה had removed from their presence. And they did evil matters to provoke יהוה, (2Ki 17:12) and served the idols, of which יהוה had said to them, “Do not do this.”

YHWH always warns us! Do NOT have other gods before Him!

(2Ki 17:13) And יהוה warned Yisra’ĕl and Yehuḏah, through all of His prophets, and every seer, saying, “Turn back from your evil ways, and guard my commands and my laws, according to all the Torah which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.(2Ki 17:14) But they did not listen and hardened their necks, like the necks of their fathers, who did not put their trust in יהוה their Elohim, (2Ki 17:15) and rejected His laws and His covenant that He had made with their fathers, and His witnesses which He had witnessed against them, and went after worthlessness, and became worthless, and after the gentiles who were all around them, of whom יהוה had commanded them not to do like them. (2Ki 17:16) And they left all the commands of יהוה their Elohim, and made for themselves a molded image, two calves, and made an Ashĕrah (Easter) and bowed themselves to all the host of the heavens, and served Baʽal, (2Ki 17:17) and caused their sons and daughters to pass through the fire, and practiced divination and sorcery, and sold themselves to do evil in the eyes of יהוה, to provoke Him. (2Ki 17:18) So יהוה was very enraged with Yisra’ĕl, and removed them from His presence – none was left but the tribe of Yehuḏah alone. (2Ki 17:19) Yehuḏah, also, did not guard the commands of יהוה their Elohim, but walked in the laws1 of Yisra’ĕl which they made. Footnote: 1Man-made laws. (2Ki 17:20) And יהוה rejected all the seed of Yisra’ĕl, and afflicted them, and gave them into the hand of plunderers, until He had cast them out from His presence. (2Ki 17:21) For He tore Yisra’ĕl from the house of Dawiḏ, and they made Yaroḇʽam son of Neḇat sovereign. And Yaroḇʽam drove Yisra’ĕl from following יהוה, and made them commit a great sin. (2Ki 17:22) And the children of Yisra’ĕl walked in all the sins of Yaroḇʽam which he did. They did not turn away from them, (2Ki 17:23) until יהוה removed Yisra’ĕl from His presence, as He spoke by all His servants the prophets. So Yisra’ĕl was exiled from their land to Ashshur, as it is to this day. (2Ki 17:24) And the sovereign of Ashshur brought people from Baḇel, and from Kuthah, and from Awwa, and from Ḥamath, and Sepharwayim, and placed them in the cities of Shomeron instead of the children of Yisra’ĕl. And they took possession of Shomeron and dwelt in its cities. (2Ki 17:25) And it came to be, at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they did not fear יהוה, and יהוה sent lions among them, which kept on slaying among them. (2Ki 17:26) And they spoke to the sovereign of Ashshur, saying, “The nations whom you have removed and placed in the cities of Shomeron do not know the right-ruling of the Elohim of the land. And He has sent lions among them, and see- they are slaying among them because they do not know the right-ruling of the Elohim of the land.” (2Ki 17:27) And the sovereign of Ashshur commanded, saying, “Send one of the priests whom you exiled from there, to go there. Let him go and dwell there, and let him teach them the right-ruling of the Elohim of the land.” (2Ki 17:28) And one of the priests whom they had exiled from Shomeron came and dwelt in Bĕyth Ěl, and taught them how to fear יהוה. (2Ki 17:29) But every nation was making mighty ones of its own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Shomeronites had made, every nation in the cities where they dwelt. (2Ki 17:30) And the men of Baḇel made Sukkoth Benoth, and the men of Kuth made Nĕrḡal, and the men of Ḥamath made Ashima, (2Ki 17:31) and the Awwites made Niḇḥaz and Tartaq. And the Sepharwites burned their children in fire to Aḏrammeleḵ and Anammeleḵ, the mighty ones of Sepharim. (2Ki 17:32) They also feared יהוה, and from every class they made for themselves priests of the high places, who offered for them in the house of the high places. (2Ki 17:33) They feared יהוה, and they were serving their own mighty ones1, according to the ruling of the nations from among whom they had been exiled. Footnote: 1Mixed worship. (2Ki 17:34) To this day they are doing according to the former rulings: they are not fearing יהוה, nor do they follow their laws or their right-rulings, or the Torah and command which יהוה had commanded the children of Yaʽaqoḇ, whose name He made Yisra’ĕl, (2Ki 17:35) with whom יהוה had made a covenant and commanded them, saying, “Do not fear other mighty ones, nor bow down to them nor serve them nor slaughter to them; (2Ki 17:36) but יהוה, who brought you up from the land of Mitsrayim with great power and with an outstretched arm, Him you shall fear, and to Him you shall bow yourselves, and to Him you shall slaughter. (2Ki 17:37) “And guard to do forever the laws, and the right-rulings, and the Torah, and the command which He wrote for you. And do not fear other mighty ones. (2Ki 17:38) “And do not forget the covenant that I have made with you, and do not fear other mighty ones. (2Ki 17:39) “But fear יהוה your Elohim, so that He delivers you from the hand of all your enemies.” (2Ki 17:40) And they did not obey, but did according to their former ruling. (2Ki 17:41) So these nations feared יהוה, and served their carved images1, both their children and their children’s children. As their fathers did, they are doing to this day. Footnote: 1Mixed worship. (2Ki 18:1) And it came to be in the third year of Hoshĕa son of Ělah, sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, that Ḥizqiyah son of Aḥaz, sovereign of Yehuḏah, began to reign. (2Ki 18:2) He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Yerushalayim. And his mother’s name was Aḇi, daughter of Zeḵaryah. (2Ki 18:3) And he did what was right in the eyes of יהוה, according to all that his father Dawiḏ did. (2Ki 18:4) He took away the high places and broke the pillars, and cut down the Ashĕrah (Easters), and broke in pieces the bronze serpent which Mosheh had made, for until those days the children of Yisra’ĕl burned incense to it, and called it Neḥushtan. (2Ki 18:5) He put his trust in יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, and after him was none like him among all the sovereigns of Yehuḏah, nor who were before him, (2Ki 18:6) and he clung to יהוה. He did not turn away from following Him, but guarded His commands, which יהוה had commanded Mosheh. (2Ki 18:7) And יהוה was with him – wherever he went he acted wisely. And he rebelled against the sovereign of Ashshur and did not serve him. (2Ki 18:8) He smote the Philistines, as far as Azzah and its borders – from watchtower unto the walled city. (2Ki 18:9) And it came to be in the fourth year of Sovereign Ḥizqiyahu, which was the seventh year of Hoshĕa son of Ělah, sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, that Shalmaneser sovereign of Ashshur came up against Shomeron and besieged it, (2Ki 18:10) and they captured it at the end of three years. In the sixth year of Ḥizqiyah, that is the ninth year of Hoshĕa sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, Shomeron was captured. (2Ki 18:11) And the sovereign of Ashshur exiled Yisra’ĕl to Ashshur, and placed them in Ḥalaḥ and Ḥaḇor, the River of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes, (2Ki 18:12) because they did not obey the voice of יהוה their Elohim, but transgressed His covenant – all that Mosheh the servant of יהוה had commanded. And they did not obey nor do them. (2Ki 18:13) And in the fourteenth year of Sovereign Ḥizqiyahu, Sanḥĕriḇ sovereign of Ashshur came up against all the walled cities of Yehuḏah and captured them. (2Ki 18:14) And Ḥizqiyah sovereign of Yehuḏah sent to the sovereign of Ashshur at Laḵish, saying, “I have done wrong, turn away from me. I shall bear whatever you impose on me.” And the sovereign of Ashshur imposed upon Ḥizqiyah, the sovereign of Yehuḏah, three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold. (2Ki 18:15) And Ḥizqiyah gave him all the silver that was found in the House of יהוה and in the treasuries of the sovereign’s house. (2Ki 18:16) At that time Ḥizqiyah cut off the doors of the Hĕḵal of יהוה, and the doorposts which Ḥizqiyah sovereign of Yehuḏah had overlaid, and gave it to the sovereign of Ashshur. (2Ki 18:17) And the sovereign of Ashshur sent the Tartan, and the Raḇsaris, and the Raḇshaqĕh from Laḵish, with a great army against Yerushalayim, to Sovereign Ḥizqiyahu. And they went up and came to Yerushalayim. And when they had come up, they came and stood by the channel of the upper pool, which was on the highway to the Launderer’s Field. (2Ki 18:18) And they called to the sovereign. And Elyaqim son of Ḥilqiyahu, who was over the household, and Sheḇnah the scribe, and Yo’aḥ son of Asaph, the recorder, came out to them. (2Ki 18:19) And the Raḇshaqĕh said to them, “Please say to Ḥizqiyahu, ‘Thus said the great sovereign, the sovereign of Ashshur, “What is this trust in which you have trusted? (2Ki 18:20) “You have spoken of having counsel and strength for battle, but they are only words of the lips! And in whom do you trust that you rebel against me? (2Ki 18:21) “Now look! You have put your trust in the staff of this crushed reed, Mitsrayim, on which if a man leans, it shall go into his hand and pierce it. So is Pharaoh Sovereign of Mitsrayim to all who trust in him. (2Ki 18:22) “But when you say to me, ‘We trust in יהוה our Elohim,’ is it not He whose high places and whose altars Ḥizqiyahu has taken away, and said to Yehuḏah and Yerushalayim, ‘Bow yourselves before this altar in Yerushalayim’?” ’ (2Ki 18:23) “And now, I urge you, give a pledge to my master the sovereign of Ashshur, then I give you two thousand horses, if you are able to put riders on them! (2Ki 18:24) “And how do you turn back the face of one commander of the least of my master’s servants, and trust in Mitsrayim for chariots and horsemen? (2Ki 18:25) “Have I now come up without יהוה against this place to destroy it? יהוה said to me, ‘Go up against this land, and you shall destroy it.’ ” (2Ki 18:26) Then said Elyaqim son of Ḥilqiyahu, and Sheḇnah, and Yo’aḥ to the Raḇshaqĕh, “Please speak to your servants in Aramaic, for we understand it. And do not speak to us in the language of Yehuḏah, in the ears of the people on the wall.” (2Ki 18:27) And the Raḇshaqĕh said to them, “Has my master sent me to your master and to you to speak these words, and not to the men sitting on the wall to eat their own dung and drink their own urine, with you?” (2Ki 18:28) And the Raḇshaqĕh stood and called out with a loud voice in the language of Yehuḏah, and spoke and said, “Hear the word of the great sovereign, the sovereign of Ashshur! (2Ki 18:29) “Thus said the sovereign, ‘Do not let Ḥizqiyahu deceive you, for he is unable to deliver you out of his hand, (2Ki 18:30) and do not let Ḥizqiyahu make you trust in יהוה, saying, “יהוה shall certainly deliver us, and this city is not given into the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur.” ’ (2Ki 18:31) “Do not listen to Ḥizqiyahu, for thus said the sovereign of Ashshur, ‘Make peace with me by a present and come out to me, and let each of you eat from his own vine and each from his own fig tree, and each of you drink the waters of his own cistern, (2Ki 18:32) until I come. Then I shall take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive-trees and honey, and live, and not die. But do not listen to Ḥizqiyahu, when he misleads you, saying, “יהוה shall deliver us.” (2Ki 18:33) ‘Has any of the mighty ones of the nations at all delivered its land from the hand of the sovereign of Ashshur? (2Ki 18:34) ‘Where are the mighty ones of Ḥamath and Arpaḏ? Where are the mighty ones of Sepharwayim and Hĕna and Iwwah? Did they deliver Shomeron from my hand? (2Ki 18:35) Who among all the mighty ones of the lands have delivered their land out of my hand, that יהוה should deliver Yerushalayim from my hand?’ ” (Comment: Sure sounds like the big mouth of Goliath or hasatan doesn’t it?) (2Ki 18:36) But the people were silent and did not answer him a word, for the command of the sovereign was, “Do not answer him.” (2Ki 18:37) And Elyaqim son of Ḥilqiyah, who was over the household, and Sheḇnah the scribe, and Yo’aḥ son of Asaph, the recorder, came to Ḥizqiyahu with their garments torn, and they reported to him the words of the Raḇshaqĕh.

Loved One- here is my prayer for you as we approach the FEAST OF TRUMPETS! (Eph 1:15) For this reason I too, having heard of your belief (faith/ trust) in the Master יהושע and your love for all the set-apart ones, (Eph 1:16) do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers, (Eph 1:17) that the Elohim of our Master יהושע Messiah, the Father of esteem, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, (Eph 1:18) the eyes of your understanding1 being enlightened, so that you know what is the expectation (Hope- destiny) of His calling, and what are the riches of the esteem (Glory) of His inheritance in the set-apart ones, Footnote: 1Lk. 24:45. (Eph 1:19) and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who are believing, according to the working of His mighty strength, (Eph 1:20) which He wrought in the Messiah when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, (Eph 1:21) far above all rule and authority and power and mastery, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. (Eph 1:22) And He put all under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all, to the assembly, (Eph 1:23) which is His body, the completeness of Him who fills all in all.
