How We Get Home

Shabbat Shalom Loved One!

My goal today was to shorten this study. However, there were too many important passages and understandings that relate to us today to accomplish that! It seems to flow about what we can expect in the days ahead as we have come to realize that the first Exodus that Moses is recounting will be pale in the sight of this Exodus from all the countries where we have been scattered. We now understand as the veil is removed in these last days, and we know we, who come apart from pagan traditions, ARE grafted into Israel, and that YHWH will bring us back to His Promised Land- Israel!

"YHWH will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where YHWH drives you. (Deuteronomy 4:28) "There you will serve gods, the work of man's hands, wood and stone, which neither can see nor hear nor eat nor smell. (Deuteronomy 4:29) "From there you will seek YHWH your Elohim, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul. (Deuteronomy 4:30) "When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you, in the latter days (NOW!) You will return to YHWH your Elohim and listen to His voice. (Deuteronomy 4:31) "For YHWH your Elohim is a compassionate El; He will not fail you nor destroy you nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them.

My point for again sharing that we are scattered from Israel and now all over the Earth is that YHWH alone will deliver His remnant- those that will humble ourselves and obey Him and seek Him with all our hearts, and these latter days are upon us. Therefore, we should expect and prepare for great trials ahead known as the GREAT TRIBULATION. Fear not, for YHWH will deliver those whose faces are set upon Him and His promises!

YHWH loves us enough to allow hardship, trials, and the collapse of the things we have trusted in rather than trusting Him. I expect we can be assured that we will not have our money god around much longer, maybe 6 months but I doubt a year. I expect everything that can be shaken and removed will be removed! Know that YHWH is not surprised, He is still on the Throne, and He loves you and will always hear the prayers of a humble and contrite heart!

(Isa 11:10) Then in that day The nations will resort to the root of Jesse, Who will stand as a signal for the peoples; And His resting place will be glorious.(Isa 11:11) Then it will happen on that day that the Lord Will again recover the second time with His hand The remnant of His people, who will remain,(remnant) From Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. (Isa 11:12) And He will lift up a standard for the nations and assemble the banished ones of Israel, And will gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. (Isa 11:13) Then the jealousy of Ephraim will depart, and those who harass Judah will be cut off; Ephraim will not be jealous of Judah, and Judah will not harass Ephraim.

(Zephaniah 3:14) Shout for joy, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O Israel! Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! (Zep 3:15) YHWH has taken away His judgments against you, He has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, YHWH, is in your midst; you will fear disaster no more. (Zep 3:16) In that day it will be said to Jerusalem: "Do not be afraid, O Zion; Do not let your hands fall limp. (Zep 3:17) "YHWH your Elohim is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.

(Zep 3:18) "I will gather those who grieve about the appointed feasts-- They came from you, O Zion; the reproach of exile is a burden on them.

(Zep 3:19) "Behold, I am going to deal at that time with all your oppressors, I will save the lame and gather the outcast, and I will turn their shame into praise and renown In all the earth. (Zep 3:20) "At that time I will bring you in, even at the time when I gather you together; Indeed, I will give you renown and praise among all the peoples of the earth, When I restore your fortunes before your eyes," Says YHWH.

(Zec 10:6) "I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them back, because I have had compassion on them; and they will be as though I had not rejected them, for I am YHWH their Elohim and I will answer them. (Zec 10:7) "Ephraim will be like a mighty man, and their heart will be glad as if from wine; indeed, their children will see it and be glad, their heart will rejoice in YHWH. (Zec 10:8) "I will whistle for them to gather them together, for I have redeemed them; and they will be as numerous as they were before. (Zec 10:9) "When I scatter them among the peoples, they will remember me in far countries, and they with their children will live and come back.

(Eze 11:17) Therefore say, thus says YHWH Elohim; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Yisrael. (Eze 11:18) And they shall come there, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from there. (Eze 11:19) I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh:

(Eze 11:20) That they may walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their Elohim.

Now we can do our study knowing who we are, where we are going, and how or who will get us there- YHWH’s miraculous outstretched hand as we enter into His rest and peace!

Here are this weeks scriptures: Ekev “Because

Deuteronomy 7:12-11:25; Isaiah 49:14-51:3

1 Peter, Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

(Deu 7:12) “And it shall be, because you hear these right-rulings, and shall guard and do them, that יהוה your Elohim shall guard with you the covenant and the kindness which He swore to your fathers, (Deu 7:13) and shall love you and bless you and increase you, and shall bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you.

If we too will hear and obey we will be blessed among all peoples in the days ahead! Our Exodus back to Israel in the 8 years ahead- we will be healed, provided for and most likely delivered by an outstretched hand, led by 144,000 as our own fire by night and cloud by day!

(Deu 7:14) Blessed are you above all peoples – there is not going to be a barren man or a barren woman among you or among your livestock. (Deu 7:15) “And יהוה shall turn away from you all sickness and put on you none of the evil diseases of Mitsrayim which you have known, but He shall put them on all those who hate you. (Deu 7:16) “And you shall consume all the peoples whom יהוה your Elohim is delivering over to you – your eye shall not pardon them. And do not serve their mighty ones, for that is a snare to you.

(Deu 7:17) “When you say in your heart, ‘These nations are greater than I, I am unable to drive them out,’ (Deu 7:18) do not be afraid of them. Remember well what יהוה your Elohim did to Pharaoh and to all Mitsrayim, (Deu 7:19) the great trials which your eyes saw, and the signs and the wonders, the strong hand and the outstretched arm, by which יהוה your Elohim brought you out. יהוה your Elohim does so to all the peoples of whom you are afraid.

(Deu 7:20) “And יהוה your Elohim also sends the hornet among them until those who are left, who hide themselves from you, are destroyed. (Deu 7:21) “Do not be afraid of them, for יהוה your Elohim, the great and awesome Ěl, is in your midst. (Deu 7:22) “And יהוה your Elohim shall drive out those nations before you, little by little. You are not allowed to destroy them at once, lest the beasts of the field become too numerous for you. (Deu 7:23) “But יהוה your Elohim shall deliver them over to you and destroy them with a great destruction until they are consumed.

(Deu 7:24) “And He shall give their sovereigns into your hand, and you shall destroy their name from under the heavens. No one is going to be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them. (Deu 7:25) “The carved images of their mighty ones you are to burn with fire. Do not covet the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it for yourselves, lest you be snared by it, for it is an abomination to יהוה your Elohim. (Deu 7:26) “And do not bring an abomination into your house, lest you be accursed like it. Utterly loathe it and utterly hate it, for it is accursed.

Here’s another reminder on how to make it through the Great Tribulation trip home to Israel! Not even our garments will wear out! Lacking nothing, but we can expect discipline also!

(Deu 8:1) Guard to do every command which I command you today, that you might live, and shall increase, and go in, and shall possess the land of which יהוה swore to your fathers. (Deu 8:2) “And you shall remember that יהוה your Elohim led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, prove you, to know what is in your heart, whether you guard His commands or not. (Deu 8:3) “And He humbled you, and let you suffer hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, to make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth of יהוה1. Footnote: 1Messiah quotes this in Mt. 4:4 and in Lk. 4:4. (Deu 8:4) Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. (Deu 8:5) “Thus you shall know in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so יהוה your Elohim disciplines you, (Deu 8:6) therefore you shall guard the commands of יהוה your Elohim, to walk in His ways and to fear Him. (Deu 8:7) “For יהוה your Elohim is bringing you into a good land, a land of streams of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills, (Deu 8:8) a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey, (Deu 8:9) a land in which you eat bread without scarcity, in which you do not lack at all, a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you dig copper. (Deu 8:10) “And you shall eat and be satisfied, and shall bless יהוה your Elohim for the good land which He has given you.

(Deu 8:11) “Be on guard, lest you forget יהוה your Elohim by not guarding His commands, and His right-rulings, and His laws which I command you today, (Deu 8:12) lest you eat and shall be satisfied, and build lovely houses and shall dwell in them, (Deu 8:13) and your herds and your flocks increase, and your silver and your gold are increased, and all that you have is increased,

(Deu 8:14) that your heart then becomes lifted up, and you forget יהוה your Elohim who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of bondage, (Deu 8:15) who led you through that great and awesome wilderness – fiery serpents and scorpions and thirst – where there was no water, who brought water for you out of the flinty rock, (Deu 8:16) who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, in order to humble you and to try you, to do you good in the end, (Deu 8:17) you then shall say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand have made for me this wealth!’

(Deu 8:18) “But you shall remember יהוה your Elohim, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, in order to establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is today.

(Comment: He is and will be our provision!) (Deu 8:19) “And it shall be, if you by any means forget יהוה your Elohim, and follow other mighty ones, and serve them and bow yourself to them, I have warned you this day that you shall certainly perish. (Deu 8:20) “Like the nations which יהוה is destroying before you, so you are to perish, because you did not obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim.

(Deu 9:1) “Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: You are passing over the Yardĕn (Jordan) today, to go in to dispossess nations greater and stronger than yourself, cities great and walled up to the heavens,

(Deu 9:2) a people great and tall, the descendants of the Anaqim, (Comment: these were giants like Goliath) whom you know, and of whom you heard it said, ‘Who does stand before the descendants of Anaq?’ (Deu 9:3) “And you shall know today that יהוה your Elohim is He who is passing over before you as a consuming fire – He does destroy them and subdue them before you. So you shall dispossess them and destroy them quickly, as יהוה has said to you. (Deu 9:4) “Do not think in your heart, after יהוה your Elohim has driven them out before you, saying, ‘Because of my righteousness יהוה has brought me in to possess this land.’ But it is because of the wrong of these nations that יהוה is driving them out from before you.

(Deu 9:5) “It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you go in to possess their land, but because of the wrong of these nations that יהוה your Elohim drives them out from before you, in order to establish the word which יהוה swore to your fathers, to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Yaʽaqoḇ. (Deu 9:6) “And you shall know that יהוה your Elohim is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

(Deu 9:7) “Remember, do not forget how you provoked to wrath יהוה your Elohim in the wilderness. From the day that you came out of the land of Mitsrayim until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against יהוה. (Deu 9:8) “Even in Ḥorĕḇ you made יהוה wroth, so that יהוה was enraged with you, to destroy you. (Deu 9:9) “When I went up into the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant which יהוה made with you, then I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. I did not eat bread nor did I drink water. (Deu 9:10) “Then יהוה gave me the two tablets of stone written with the finger of Elohim, and on them were all the Words which יהוה had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.

(Deu 9:11) “And it came to be, at the end of forty days and forty nights, that יהוה gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant. (Deu 9:12) “Then יהוה said to me, ‘Arise, go down quickly from here, for your people whom you brought out of Mitsrayim (Comment: Egypt also the root of misery) have acted corruptly. They have quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them; they have made themselves a molded image.’

Let’s not let YHWH find us stubborn and stiff necked in our pagan traditions we inherited from Constantine and our forefathers of the faith! Let’s become humble and changeable- for He changes NOT and that only leaves us to change!

(Deu 9:13) “And יהוה spoke to me, saying, ‘I have seen this people, and look, they are a stiff-necked people. (Deu 9:14) ‘Leave me alone, so that I destroy them and blot out their name from under the heavens, and make of you a nation stronger and greater than they.’ (Deu 9:15) “So I turned and came down from the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire. And the two tablets of the covenant were in my two hands. (Deu 9:16) “And I looked and saw that you had sinned against יהוה your Elohim, and had made for yourselves a molded calf! You had quickly turned aside from the way which יהוה had commanded you. (Deu 9:17) “And I took the two tablets and threw them out of my two hands and broke them before your eyes, (Deu 9:18) “and I fell down before יהוה, as at the first, forty days and forty nights. I did not eat bread and I did not drink water, because of all your sins which you committed in doing evil in the eyes of יהוה, to provoke Him.

Note what a true and anointed leader does: He intercedes with His very life for others!

(Deu 9:19) For I was afraid of the displeasure and rage with which יהוה was wroth with you, to destroy you. But יהוה listened to me that time once more. (Deu 9:20) “And יהוה was very enraged with Aharon, to destroy him, so I prayed for Aharon at that time also. (Deu 9:21) “And I took your sin, the calf which you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it and ground it very small, until it was as fine as dust. And I threw its dust into the stream that came down from the mountain. (Deu 9:22) “And at Taḇʽĕrah and at Massah and at Qiḇroth Hatta’awah you made יהוה wroth. (Deu 9:23) “And when יהוה sent you from Qaḏĕsh Barnĕa, saying, ‘Go up and possess the land which I have given you,’ then you rebelled against the mouth of יהוה your Elohim, and you neither trusted Him nor listened to His voice. (Deu 9:24) You have been rebellious against יהוה from the day that I knew you. (Deu 9:25) So I fell down before יהוה the forty days and forty nights, for I fell down because יהוה had said He would destroy you. (Deu 9:26) “And I prayed to יהוה, and said, ‘O Master יהוה, do not destroy your people and Your inheritance whom you have redeemed in your greatness, whom you have brought out of Mitsrayim with a strong hand. (Deu 9:27) ‘Remember your servants, Aḇraham, Yitsḥaq, and Yaʽaqoḇ. Do not look on the stubbornness of this people, or on their wrong or on their sin, (Deu 9:28) lest the land from which you brought us should say, “Because יהוה was not able to bring them to the land which He promised them, and because He hated them, He has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.” (Deu 9:29) ‘And they are your people and your inheritance, who you brought out by your great power and by your outstretched arm.’

(Deu 10:1) “At that time יהוה said to me, ‘Hew for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to me on the mountain. And you shall make yourself an ark of wood, (Deu 10:2) then I write on the tablets the Words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. And you shall put them in the ark.’ (Deu 10:3) “So I made an ark of acacia wood, hewed two tablets of stone like the first, and went up the mountain, with the two tablets in my hand. (Deu 10:4) “And He wrote on the tablets according to the first writing, the Ten Words, which יהוה had spoken to you in the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly. Then יהוה gave them to me,

(Deu 10:5) and I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made. And they are there, as יהוה commanded me.” (Deu 10:6) Now the children of Yisra’ĕl set out from the wells of Benĕi Yaʽaqan to Mosĕrah. Aharon died there, and he was buried there. And Elʽazar his son became priest in his place. (Deu 10:7) From there they set out to Guḏgoḏah and from Guḏgoḏah to Yotḇathah, a land of rivers of water. (Deu 10:8) At that time יהוה separated the tribe of Lĕwi (Comment: the “V” sound in Hebrew is pronounced as a “W”) to bear the ark of the covenant of יהוה, to stand before יהוה, to serve Him, and to bless in His Name, to this day. (Deu 10:9) Therefore Lĕwi has neither portion nor inheritance with his brothers. יהוה is his inheritance, as יהוה your Elohim promised him.

Here is some serious intercession!

(Deu 10:10) And I stayed in the mountain for forty days and forty nights. And יהוה heard me at that time also, and יהוה chose not to destroy you. (Deu 10:11) “And יהוה said to me, ‘Arise, go before the people, to set out, and let them go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.’ (Deu 10:12) “And now, Yisra’ĕl, what is יהוה your Elohim asking of you, but to fear יהוה your Elohim, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being, (Deu 10:13) to guard the commands of יהוה and His laws which I command you today for your good? (Deu 10:14) “See, the heavens and the heaven of heavens belong to יהוה your Elohim, also the earth with all that is in it.

(Deu 10:15) יהוה delighted only in your fathers, to love them. And He chose their seed after them, you above all peoples1, as it is today. Footnote: 1See also 7:6, 14:2, 26:18, Ps. 135:4 and Amos 3:2. (Deu 10:16) And you shall circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and harden your neck no more. (Deu 10:17) “For יהוה your Elohim is Elohim of mighty ones and Master of masters, the great Ěl, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.

(Deu 10:18) “He executes right-ruling for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and a garment. (Deu 10:19) “And you shall love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Mitsrayim.

Fear not man who can only kill the body but fear YHWH who can both kill and cast into hell fire!

(Deu 10:20) “Fear יהוה your Elohim. Serve Him, and cling to Him, and swear by His Name. (Comment: We might want to actually USE His name!)

(Deu 10:21) “He is your praise, and He is your Elohim, who has done for you these great and awesome deeds which your eyes have seen. (Deu 10:22) “Your fathers went down to Mitsrayim with seventy beings, and now יהוה your Elohim has made you as numerous as the stars of the heavens.

Don’t turn back- continue to hear and obey throughout the times of our travel!

Here’s what Kepha (Peter) is told by YHWH to show us about our lives and preparation of our souls for our journey home from where YHWH scattered our fathers and us!

(1Pe 1:1) Kĕpha, an emissary of יהושע Messiah, to the chosen, strangers of the dispersion (Comment: Dispersed=SCATTERED TRIBES- the lost sheep of Israel- now scattered around the world, repentant born again believers who obey Yahshua and keep His commandments and Feasts) in Pontos, Galatia, Kappadokia, Asia, and Bithunia, (1Pe 1:2) chosen according to the foreknowledge of Elohim the Father, set apart by the Spirit unto obedience1 and sprinkling of the blood of יהושע Messiah: Favor and peace be increased to you. Footnote: 1Obedience is also stressed in vv. 14 & 22. (1Pe 1:3) Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Master יהושע Messiah, who according to His great compassion has caused us to be born again to a living expectation through the resurrection of יהושע Messiah from the dead, (1Pe 1:4) to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and unfading, having been kept in the heavens for you,

(1Pe 1:5) who are protected by the power of Elohim through belief, for a deliverance ready to be revealed in the last time, (1Pe 1:6) in which you exult, even though for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by manifold trials, (1Pe 1:7) in order that the proving of your belief – much more precious than gold that perishes, and proven by fire – might be found to result in praise and respect and esteem at the revelation of יהושע Messiah, (1Pe 1:8) whom having not seen, you love; in whom you exult with unspeakable and esteemed joy, yet not seeing, but believing, (1Pe 1:9) obtaining the goal of your belief: a deliverance of lives.

(1Pe 1:10) Concerning this deliverance the prophets have sought out and searched out, prophesying concerning the favor for you, (1Pe 1:11) searching to know what, or what sort of time, the Spirit which was in them was pointing out concerning Messiah, when it was bearing witness beforehand the sufferings of Messiah, and the esteems that would follow, (1Pe 1:12) to whom it was revealed that they were serving, not themselves, but you, in these matters which now have been announced to you through those who brought the Good News to you by the Set-apart Spirit sent from heaven – into which angels long to look into. (1Pe 1:13) Therefore, having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, set your expectation perfectly upon the favor that is to be brought to you at the revelation of יהושע Messiah, (1Pe 1:14) as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts in your ignorance, (1Pe 1:15) instead, as the One who called you is set-apart, so you also should become set-apart in all behavior, (1Pe 1:16) because it has been written, “Be set-apart, for I am set-apart.” (1Pe 1:17) And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear,

(1Pe 1:18) knowing that you were redeemed from your futile way of life inherited from your fathers, not with what is corruptible, silver or gold, (1Pe 1:19) but with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, (1Pe 1:20) foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for your sakes, (1Pe 1:21) who through Him believe in Elohim who raised Him from the dead and gave Him esteem, so that your belief and expectation are in Elohim.

(1Pe 1:22) Now that you have cleansed your lives in obeying the truth through the Spirit to unfeigned brotherly love, love one another fervently with a clean and pure heart, (1Pe 1:23) having been born again – not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible – through the living Word of Elohim, which remains forever, (1Pe 1:24) because “All flesh is as grass, and all the esteem of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, (1Pe 1:25) but the Word of Elohim remains forever.”1 And this is the Word, announced as Good News to you. Footnote: 1Isa. 40:6-8.

(1Pe 2:1) Having put aside, then, all evil, and all deceit, and hypocrisies, and envyings, and all evil words, (1Pe 2:2) as newborn babies, desire the unadulterated milk of the Word, in order that you grow by it, (1Pe 2:3) if indeed you have tasted that the Master is good.

(1Pe 2:4) Drawing near to Him, a living Stone – rejected indeed by men, but chosen by Elohim and precious – (1Pe 2:5) you also, as living stones, are being built up, a spiritual house, a set-apart priesthood, to offer up spiritual slaughter offerings acceptable to Elohim through יהושע Messiah. (1Pe 2:6) Because it is contained in the Scripture, “See, I lay in Tsiyon a chief corner-stone, chosen, precious, and he who believes on Him shall by no means be put to shame.”1 Footnote: 1Isa. 28:16.

Once again YHWH’s sword is two edged!

(1Pe 2:7) This preciousness, then, is for you who believe; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner-stone,”1 Footnote: 1Ps. 118:22.

(1Pe 2:8) and “A stone of stumbling and a rock that makes for falling,”1 who stumble because they are disobedient2 to the Word, to which they also were appointed. Footnotes: 1Isa. 8:14. 2See John 3:36, Heb. 3:18.

(1Pe 2:9) But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a set-apart nation, a people for a possession, that you should proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light, (1Pe 2:10) who once were not a people, but now the people of Elohim; who had not obtained compassion, but now obtained compassion. (1Pe 2:11) Beloved ones, I appeal to you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lusts which battle against the life (Comment: soul- mind will intellect and emotions), (1Pe 2:12) having your behavior among the gentiles good so that when they speak against you as evil-doers, let them, by observing your good works,1 esteem Elohim in a day of visitation. Footnote: 1Mt. 5:16.

(1Pe 2:13) Be subject to every institution of man because of the Master, whether to the sovereign as supreme, (1Pe 2:14) or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of doers of evil, and a praise for those who do good. (1Pe 2:15) Because such is the desire of Elohim, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men, (1Pe 2:16) as free, yet not using your freedom as a cloak for evil, but as servants of Elohim.

(1Pe 2:17) Respect all, love the brotherhood, fear Elohim, respect the sovereign. (1Pe 2:18) Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the crooked ones. (1Pe 2:19) For this is favor, if because of conscience toward Elohim anyone bears up under grief, suffering unrighteously. (1Pe 2:20) For what credit is there in enduring a beating when you sin? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure, this finds favor with Elohim.

(1Pe 2:21) For to this you were called, because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps,1 Footnote: 11 Cor. 11:1, 1 John 2:6. (1Pe 2:22) “who committed no sin,1 nor was deceit found in His mouth,”2 Footnotes: 1John 8:55, John 15:10, 2 Cor. 5:21, John 3:5. 2Isa.53:9. (1Pe 2:23) who, being reviled, did not revile in return; suffering, did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; (1Pe 2:24) who Himself bore our sins in His body on the timber, so that we, having died to sins, might live unto righteousness1 – by whose stripes you were healed. Footnote: 1Rom. 6:2, 1 Peter 4:1-2.

(1Pe 2:25) For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your lives. (Phm 1:1) Sha’ul, a prisoner of Messiah יהושע, and Timothy the brother, to Philemon our beloved one and fellow worker, (1Pe 3:1) In the same way, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that if any are disobedient to the Word, they, without a word, might be won by the behavior of their wives, (1Pe 3:2) having seen your blameless behavior in fear.

(1Pe 3:3) Your adornment should not be outward – arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on dresses – (1Pe 3:4) but the hidden Man of the heart, with the incorruptible ornament of a meek and peaceable spirit, which is of great value before YHWH Elohim. (1Pe 3:5) For in this way, in former times, the set-apart women who trusted in Elohim also adorned themselves, being subject to their own husbands, (1Pe 3:6) as Sarah obeyed Aḇraham, calling him master, of whom you became children, doing good, and not frightened by any fear.

(1Pe 3:7) In the same way, husbands, live understandingly together, giving respect to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the favor of life, so that your prayers are not hindered. (1Pe 3:8) To sum up, let all of you be like-minded, sympathetic, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, humble-minded, (1Pe 3:9) not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, in order to inherit a blessing. (1Pe 3:10) For “He who wishes to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit, (1Pe 3:11) let him turn away from evil and do good, let him seek peace and pursue it.

This is great news for our perilous times ahead!

(1Pe 3:12) “Because the eyes of יהוה are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers, but the face of יהוה is against those who do evil.”1 Footnote: 1Ps. 34:12-16. (1Pe 3:13) And who is the one doing evil to you, if you become imitators of the good? (1Pe 3:14) But even if you suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed.1 “And do not fear their threats, neither be troubled.”Footnote: 1Mt. 5:10. (1Pe 3:15) But set apart Master יהושע Messiah Elohim in your hearts, and always be ready to give an answer to everyone asking you a reason concerning the expectation that is in you, with meekness and fear, (1Pe 3:16) having a good conscience, so that when they speak against you as doers of evil, those who falsely accuse your good behavior in Messiah, shall be ashamed. (1Pe 3:17) For it is better, if it is the desire of Elohim, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. (1Pe 3:18) Because even Messiah once suffered for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to Elohim,1 having been put to death indeed in flesh but made alive in the Spirit, Footnote: 1Rom. 5:18. (1Pe 3:19) in which also He went and proclaimed unto the spirits in prison, (1Pe 3:20) who were disobedient at one time when the patience of Elohim waited in the days of Noaḥ, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight beings, were saved through water, (1Pe 3:21) which figure now also saves us: immersion – not a putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward Elohim – through the resurrection of יהושע Messiah, (1Pe 3:22) who, having gone into heaven, is at the right hand of Elohim, messengers and authorities and powers having been subjected to Him.

(1Pe 4:1) Therefore, since Messiah suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,1 Footnote: 1Rom. 6:2-22, 1 Peter 2:25. (1Pe 4:2) so that he no longer lives the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but according to the desire of Elohim. (1Pe 4:3) For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the desire of the gentiles, having walked in indecencies, lusts, drunkenness, orgies, wild parties, and abominable idolatries, (1Pe 4:4) in which they are surprised that you do not run with them in the same flood of loose behavior, blaspheming, (1Pe 4:5) who shall give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. (1Pe 4:6) For this reason the Good News was also brought to those who are dead, so that, whereas they are judged according to men in the flesh, they might live according to Elohim in the spirit.

(1Pe 4:7) But the end of all has drawn near. Therefore be sober-minded, and be attentive in the prayers.

(1Pe 4:8) And above all have fervent love for one another, because love covers a great number of sins. (1Pe 4:9) Welcome one another without grumbling. (1Pe 4:10) As each one has received a gift, serve one another, as good trustees of the manifold favor of Elohim

.

Here are great instructions for us: AGREE WITH YHASHUA’S WORDS and get His results planned for us!

(1Pe 4:11) If anyone speaks, let it be as the Words of YHWH Elohim. If anyone serves, let it be as with the strength which Elohim provides, so that Elohim might be praised in it all through יהושע Messiah, to whom belong the esteem and the rule forever and ever. Amĕn. (1Pe 4:12) Beloved ones, do not be surprised at the fiery trial that is coming upon you, to try you, as though some unusual matter has befallen you, (1Pe 4:13) but as you share Messiah’s sufferings,1 rejoice, in order that you might rejoice exultingly at the revelation of His esteem. Footnote: 1Rom. 8:17, 2 Cor. 1:5, Philip 3:10.

(1Pe 4:14) If you are reproached for the Name of Messiah Yahshua, you are blessed, because the Spirit of esteem and of Elohim rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is praised. (1Pe 4:15) For do not let any of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or doer of evil, or as a meddler. (1Pe 4:16) But if one suffers being obedient to YHWH, let him not be ashamed, but let him esteem Elohim in this matter. (1Pe 4:17) Because it is time for judgment to begin from the House of Elohim. And if firstly from us, what is the end of those who do not obey the Good News of Elohim? (1Pe 4:18) And if the righteous one is scarcely saved, where shall the wicked and the sinner appear? (1Pe 4:19) So then, those who suffer according to the desire of Elohim should commit their lives to a trustworthy Creator, in doing good. (1Pe 5:1) Therefore, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Messiah, and also a sharer of the esteem that is to be revealed, I appeal to the elders among you: (1Pe 5:2) Shepherd the flock of Elohim which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but voluntarily, not out of greed for filthy gain, but eagerly, (1Pe 5:3) neither as being masters over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. (1Pe 5:4) And when the cf2 Chief Shepherd1 appears, you shall receive the never-fading crown of esteem. Footnote: 1See 2:25. (1Pe 5:5) In the same way, you younger ones, be subject to elders. And gird yourselves with humility toward one another, for “Elohim resists the proud, but gives favor to the humble.”

So- how do we humble ourselves and exalt our King?

(1Pe 5:6) Humble yourselves, then, under the mighty hand of Elohim, so that He exalts you in due time, (1Pe 5:7) casting all your worry upon Him, for He is concerned about you. (1Pe 5:8) Be sober, watch, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (1Pe 5:9) Resist him, firm in the belief, knowing that the same hardships are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. (1Pe 5:10) May YHWH, the Elohim of all favor, who called you to His everlasting esteem by Messiah יהושע, after you have suffered a while, Himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. (1Pe 5:11) To Him be the esteem and the might forever and ever. Amĕn. (1Pe 5:12) Through Sila the trustworthy brother, as I reckon, I have written to you briefly, encouraging and witnessing that this is the true favor of Elohim, in this stand fast. (1Pe 5:13) She who is in Baḇel, chosen together with you, greets you, also my son, Mark. (1Pe 5:14) Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are in Messiah יהושע. Amĕn.

Blessings to you Loved One, for you study and show yourself approved that you will not be ashamed at His soon appearing. I trust Him and I know you trust Him- are we not indeed the most blessed upon the Earth? (Deu 7:14) Blessed are you above all peoples – there is not going to be a barren man or a barren woman among you or among your livestock. (Deu 7:15) “And יהוה shall turn away from you all sickness and put on you none of the evil diseases of Mitsrayim (Egypt, USA, and the World) which you have known, but He shall put them on all those who hate you.
